"I'll count to three either you run or you'll die"said Louis.
"Who tha fuck do you think you are?" One of the boys shouted.
"I'm the fucking grim reaper"said Louis his eyes bloodshot, he was thirsty for bloodshed, the killing intent emanating from him was enough to make you run away, Louis stood there like a demon who had just descended from hell. Beverly sat on the ground looking at Louis trying to study him.
"You think that stick will save you"said the boy who talked earlier cracking his fist.
"No it's a weapon"Louis replies rubbing club he was holding, very intimately his lazy eyes glowing in the dark.
"I might as well beat you with it, or without it"he said looking up at the boy immediately the boy looked into his eyes he felt something was off.
Now Louis was just sixteen years old how could he have such a deadly aura.
The boy decided not to be scared, "I'm going beat you up"he screamed running towards Louis with a fierce kick, Louis in turn effortlessly swung his club hitting his leg, there was a cracking noise.
"Ahh my leg"the boy screamed.
Louis twists his arm and then makes him eat the dirt as he crashed him into the soily ground.
The other three saw that the best student in kick boxing had just been defeated with two moves.
two of them ran towards Louis who throws the club at one of them which smashed the boy's face as the club hits him, causing him to face in the process.
The other one was running towards him at full speed. Louis gives him a tornado kick, it was just like the anime character gojo saturo beating up a bad guy. It was flawless and Louis hit him in the neck causing him to collapse immediately.
He looks at the other boy who was standing and shaking like a leaf.
"You want to join them?"Louis asked.
The boy went on his knees trembling
"No I'm sorry I messed up"said the boy begging.
"Well I don't like leaving witnesses"said Louis looking at him.
"I swear I won't bother anyone again"said the boy in tears.
"I'll count to five and I want you to disappear, one...two.....
Louis had not finished counting when the boy fled and disappeared into the other side of the school.
Louis turns around and looks at Beverly who was still on the floor, Louis gives her a glare and walks away.
"Um thank you "she says, he stops walking and looks at her.
"Stay away from me or you'll get hurt"he said.
The other days were different Beverly kept pestering Louis, like a little bee he tried pushing her away but she never gave up.
"I told you to stay away "he said
"Louis I am your friend I don't see you as a monster, a monster doesn't save lives so you're not one"said Beverly.
Louis decided to let her be and kept her as a little sister, the two were always together and Louis protected her from everyone.
Well the devil has a way of taking away someone's joy, Victor Grey had also found out his son had a little princess by his side and decided to do something about it.
The two were out again like any other day and Beverly had arranged for a little picnic and was chatting with Louis telling him about life, when she stands up and hugs him.
"Louis don't go"she said hugging him from behind.
"I don't know how to say this but I...I...love you"she said her eyes glowing.
Louis turns around and then looks at her.
"Beverly no you can't love me"he said
"I can love you I'm in love with you, I don't care about what your family or your coldness or your weirdness I just feel warm around you"said Beverly leaning in close.
"I'm sorry I can't"said Louis.
"I know you love me too"she said about to kiss him when he pushes her away.
"I've got to go"said Louis walking away, but Beverly runs towards him and hugs him,"Don't run away from me, don't run away from my feelings from us"she whispered kissing him.
Louis didn't know what to do "I can't love you back and you can't love me too, you'll get hurt"he said, withdrawing himself from her grip.
"I'm already hurting"she said.
"You're the only one I've ever loved, you're my family Louis I'm an orphan and the only person who has shown me light is you"said Beverly.
"Beverly this is nonsense, you can't find light in darkness you're too good for me "said Louis.
"Nonsense, my love for you is nonsense is that what you think?"she sulked.
"Beverly just go home "said Louis.
"No I won't "she said.
"Then I will "said Louis.
"How about I clear the fog"came a voice Louis loathed. Louis turns around and sees his father standing as he holds a gun.
"Dad what are you doing here?" Louis asked in horror.
"You think I wouldn't find out"Victor Grey said.
"It's you making Louis feel like he's a monster"said Beverly.
"Beverly don't talk to him "said Louis.
"My son is growing wings well little red, he's a monster and monsters don't need friends"said Victor Grey.
"I won't let you hurt him again you psycho"said Beverly.
"Oh I won't hurt him, what's this love nonsense I'm hearing you can't be stupid enough to love a darkness like him"said Victor Grey.
"He's not darkness, you're making him think that way, and I won't let you get into his head"said Beverly.
"How about I get you out of the way"said Victor Grey, bringing out a gun,Louis was about to push her away but it was already to late.
BANG!!!
Everything was all blurry and Louis looks down and sees a bleeding Beverly on the ground.
"She's a talkative I can't stand her"said Victor Grey.
"What did you do why did you kill her"came Louis' scared voice.
"She's a distraction I don't want her disturbing our father and son time, we don't have time for friends, monsters don't have friends, Louis, this is a warning so next time you want to have friends you'll remember this glorious day" said Victor Grey pointing a gun at him.
"I'll give you the honor to accompany her for a short while "he adds.
