The night was unusually silent.
Zaid opened his eyes slowly, feeling a strange heaviness in his chest. The world around him felt unfamiliar, yet oddly calm. Above him was a dark sky filled with countless stars, brighter than he had ever seen before.
He tried to move, but his body felt weak, as if it did not fully belong to him. Memories rushed into his mind—some were his, and some were not.
"Where am I…?" he whispered.
As he struggled to sit up, a cold breeze passed through the empty land. There were no buildings, no people—only endless plains and distant mountains.
Zaid felt fear, but deep inside, there was also a strange sense of purpose. Whatever this place was, he knew one thing clearly.
His old life was over.
And a new journey had begun.
