Reyansh chuckled and said calmly
" Calm down princess I just wanted to have a dinner with you that's it darling .see you soon"Myra was going to say something but he ended the call
After reaching his penthouse
The elevator doors opened directly into the penthouse, and Myra marched out, her heels clicking aggressively against the marble. She didn't look like a "Little Bird" right now; she looked like a storm cloud.
Reyansh!" she yelled, dropping her bag on the sofa. "We had a deal! Discretion! How is it discreet to send a blacked-out sedan to my best friend's doorstep? People talk!"
Reyansh was standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, a glass of amber liquid in his hand. He didn't even turn around. The moonlight caught the sharp line of his shoulders, making him look like a statue of a dark god.
"People only talk if they have something to say," he said smoothly, finally turning. He looked her up and down, his gaze lingering on her flushed face. "You look beautiful when you're angry, Myra. It brings out the fire I saw in that club."
I'm not here to be 'beautiful' for you," she snapped, stepping closer. "I'm here because you basically kidnapped me with a text message
"I told you. Dinner." He gestured to the dining table, which was set with silver domes covering the food. "And to remind you of Rule Number One."
Myra froze. "Exclusivity?"
Exclusivity," he repeated, his voice dropping to a dangerous silkiness. He walked toward her, his presence shrinking the room. He didn't stop until his chest was inches from her nose. "You were far too comfortable in that apartment, Myra. I don't want you 'staying' with friends. I want you where I can see you
"You can't be serious," Myra gasped. "You want me to live here?"
"I want you to realize that Arjun is the past. This penthouse, this career, this..." he reached out, his thumb dragging slowly across her lower lip, "...is your present. Now, sit. Eat. Then we can discuss how exactly you're going to pay for the 'stress' your shouting just caused me."
"Eat, princess," he whispered against her forehead. "You'll need your strength for later."
They started eating suddenly Reyansh said "from now you are not staying with your friend you will stay with me"
That make Myra choke her food "whattt are you madd it's not possible"
