Chapter 7 - Chapter 6: Quincy Ichigo Kurosaki Arrives in Style!

Chapter 6: Quincy Ichigo Kurosaki Arrives in Style!

The figure descending like a meteor slammed violently into the attacking Hollows. While the monsters were blown back, he was caught in the recoil, tumbling through the air like a ragdoll before crashing heavily beside Rukia. His body twitched; he looked even more pitiful than she did.

"A normal human? But how did he fall from the sky?" confusion flashed through Rukia's mind.

Outside the screen, Mo Yu looked at the twitching Ichigo on the ground and realized he might have botched the "fated encounter" between the hero and heroine. But he didn't care much. Such minor details were irrelevant. He spoke with confidence:

"Rukia, just stay down. Next, the protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki is going to take you for a ride and show you how it's done!"

Faced with the holy voice from the heavens, Rukia had many questions—where did the voice come from? Why were the "special effects" so complex? And why could she understand the words perfectly despite the language being different? Ultimately, she could only sigh and complain:

"I don't know who you are, but I'm already down. And your 'protagonist' Ichigo Kurosaki went down faster than I did. He looks like he's about to die."

Flying at high speeds as a mortal and turning himself into a human missile had indeed put Ichigo in a bad state. But Mo Yu wasn't worried at all. Although the plot of this World Bubble differed from the original, some things remained constant.

"Don't you worry. He might look like a dying salted fish now, but he has extraordinary potential hidden inside. Just call his name with deep emotion and beg him to save you—even if he falls into Hell, he'll crawl back out to conquer everything for you."

Ichigo wouldn't die, at least not in the early stages. The reason was simple: since birth, a terrifying power had been dormant within him. His journey from awakening to the final battle—the constant power-ups, the "cheats," and the reversals—was fundamentally just the process of those internal powers waking up.

A normal Ichigo wasn't scary. What was scary was an Ichigo on the verge of death who hadn't breathed his last—especially when there was a female character nearby!

The bat-winged demon Ulquiorra, who was once held down and ground into dust by a rampaging "Hollowfied" Ichigo, would have a lot to say about that.

Rukia's mouth twitched, speechless. Reality unfolded just as Mo Yu expected. Despite the crash-landing, within a few breaths, the injuries that would have sent a normal person to the ICU stopped worsening. Ichigo's eyes snapped open, and he turned to look at Rukia.

The Soul Reaper girl had delicate and beautiful features. Because of her injuries, she possessed a fragile grace that stirred a protective instinct.

Looking at this "blind date" introduced by the mastermind Aizen, Ichigo didn't say much. He struggled to his feet and whispered:

"Hey... I'll find a way to stall these three monsters. You get out of here!"

Ichigo turned to face the Hollows. Though his injuries made him look disheveled, a faint light flickered in his pupils. An inexplicable aura surged from him, causing the three Hollows to hesitate.

The impact of the crash had caused a tiny sliver of his dormant power to leak out. Even that minuscule fragment was enough to instill instinctive fear in these Hollows.

The White (Vasto Lorde) power created by the scientist Aizen using countless souls; the Quincy power inherited from Yhwach, the son of the Soul King; the Fullbring power formed from fragments of the Creator Soul King's body; and the Soul Reaper power passed down from the Shiba clan, one of the noble families...

Any one of these was a peak power that could dominate the mortal world. To have them all gathered in one body was unprecedented.

In a sense, Ichigo's birth was a miracle of this world. Only such a being was qualified to carry the weight of the world and sever the karmic ties left behind by the Creator, the Soul King.

This was why Mo Yu called Ichigo the "Anointed One." The term comes from the Hebrew Mashiah, which also means "Messiah"! The savior sent by God to bear the sins of all and perform holy deeds.

Even though Ichigo told her to run, Rukia, as a Soul Reaper, could never abandon a human to fight alone. She struggled up, gripping her blade, ready for battle.

At this sight, Mo Yu couldn't help but open his music player and start Shiro Sagisu's classic track: "On the Precipice of Defeat".

The urgent, high-energy BGM descended from the sky, enveloping the world as if the universe itself was singing for this moment. The residents of Karakura Town looked up in confusion. They didn't know what was happening, but the music made them feel like something momentous was occurring.

Ichigo and Rukia both had twitching mouths, but as creatures of a 2D world, their instincts allowed them to adapt to having BGM during combat. Or rather, they had no other choice.

Ichigo charged first. He was incredibly fast. A simple flying kick carried extraordinary force, instantly sending one Hollow flying.

The world's strongest powers were dormant in his body. Even unreleased, they had naturally granted Ichigo superhuman traits. Without training, his physique, dynamic vision, and reflexes were peak. At sixteen, seven or eight thugs were barely a warm-up for him.

Now, with a tiny leak of Reiryoku (Spiritual Power), his fists and kicks carried enough weight to actually damage the Hollows.

In the original plot, Rukia once tried to use a binding spell on him, only for Ichigo to break it with brute strength and a spark of spiritual energy. As an elite officer with Rank 5 Reiatsu, Rukia's bindings were a cage most Soul Reapers couldn't escape, yet a "mortal" Ichigo did it easily.

As they say, the "hair of a camel" from the world's richest man is still a fortune a commoner could never earn in a lifetime.

In the story, Rukia chose to transfer half her powers to Ichigo, a crime in the Soul Society, just to open his path. It was a logical choice. With potential that high, once released, he would be unstoppable.

The results proved her right. Even though the plot was now unrecognizable, Rukia felt the same shock as in the original work. Watching a mortal man dance between three Hollows, knocking them around with every strike, her eyes widened and her mouth hung open. She was stunned not just by Ichigo, but by the majestic voice narrating alongside the BGM:

"Fear draws old age... retreat draws death. Look straight ahead and crush them..."

Ichigo was still green and hadn't learned the most important combat skill in Bleach: trash-talking. So, Mo Yu took over as "Narrator-kun" to boost his "coolness factor."

Ichigo had no time to argue. The premonition of death clung to him, but surprisingly, he felt no fear—only a concentration stretched to the limit. Power surged from his core, making his movements swifter and his strikes heavier.

"Do not waver, do not hesitate, my Knight! Release your fighting instinct! That desire to slaughter the enemy is your White Horse. Mount it, master it, and welcome one grand war after another. Let famine and plague mark your path, and create glorious victory through death..."

Mo Yu's words weren't just empty flavor text. He noticed that when the BGM played, Ichigo's leaking spiritual power increased. When he acted as the "mouthpiece" for trash-talking, Ichigo's damage output rose. The boost wasn't massive, but it was real and persistent.

Mo Yu immediately understood: Trash-talking and "Coolness" are part of the underlying architecture of the Bleach world. Looking cool literally translates to power in this world.

Using style and bravado to push one's "coolness" to the peak and then one-shotting the enemy is the most orthodox way to fight here.

Clearly, the collective consciousness of the viewers in the real world had reached a strange consensus on how this world works.

Though Aizen called these Hollows "trash," they were wild beasts from Hueco Mundo, far more aggressive than those born in the World of the Living. Despite the "coolness" buff, this was Ichigo's first supernatural battle. He took a few hits, and although his willpower held, things were turning sour—even with Mo Yu occasionally throwing in a "Divine Palm" to assist.

Mo Yu decided it was time to move the plot along. He whispered to Rukia, who was gripping her sword, waiting for an opening:

"I can't do much more in this state, and for you to join the fight now would be meaningless. My advice: transfer your remaining Soul Reaper powers to Ichigo. Once he becomes a Substitute Soul Reaper, all problems will be solved."

Rukia hesitated. It wasn't that she doubted the voice; she had seen the "Divine Palm" strikes, which in her eyes were only at the level of a mortal medium. She believed the voice was at its limit. Her hesitation came from the law: giving Soul Reaper powers to a human was a capital crime. If caught, not just her, but Ichigo and his family would be implicated.

The Nobles who betrayed the Soul King eons ago and hoarded the Reishi-rich Soul Society for themselves had their own reasons for such laws. But Rukia quickly made up her mind.

The laws of the Soul Society were harsh, but not equal. As a member of the Kuchiki family, one of the Five Great Noble Houses, this crime wasn't insurmountable.

At this moment, she had no idea that this single thought would lead to her arrest, death sentence, and Ichigo's invasion of the Soul Society.

From Mo Yu's perspective, her logic was fine, just a bit naive. As a commoner adopted into nobility, she didn't realize the precarious political state of the Kuchiki clan or the fact that Aizen was pushing from the shadows.

Regardless, Mo Yu felt a surge of excitement seeing her prepare to stab Ichigo as in the original plot. He prepared to find a suitable BGM for the transformation.

Just then, Ichigo was slammed by a Hollow, flying back like a broken kite and landing right next to Rukia.

As if destiny itself were calling, Rukia gripped her Zanpakuto and spoke to him:

"As a mortal, I have felt your resolve. As that voice said, I have decided to give you a chance—one that will slide your fate into the unknown. Are you truly willing to accept it?"

Would Ichigo refuse? The answer was in his eyes, burning with resolve. He replied firmly:

"Come! I do not fear the unknown of fate; I only fear my own helplessness!"

Rukia took a deep breath, raised her blade, and prepared to pierce his chest to transfer her power.

The cold light of the blade fell, but something else was faster—an arrow of light fired from afar.

The arrow hit Ichigo, and in the next instant, a brilliant radiance erupted from him, forming a pillar of light that pierced the sky. He slowly stood up as Reishi swarmed him, weaving into a pure white combat uniform.

Rukia froze. Mo Yu froze. He quickly panned the camera toward the source of the arrow.

"Hmph. Your resolve is decent, but for a descendant of the Quincy to beg a Soul Reaper for power... how unsightly. Very well, I'll give you a chance to see if you can truly grasp it..."

A man wearing glasses, holding a combat bow, leaned against a wall. He was low-profile but elegant, exuding a "Hidden Powerhouse" vibe.

"You've got some nerve, pretty boy! Entering at a time like this!?"

Seeing the plot break like this, Mo Yu rubbed his forehead. He hadn't expected this guy to jump in now and steal the female lead's most iconic moment.

Uryu Ishida. A member of Ichigo's main group, the "Last Quincy." In the early plot, he was mostly a filler character, but he gained significance later as a rival and brother-in-arms.

Ichigo had completed his transformation. Clad in a white Reishi robe and surrounded by a brilliant aura, he possessed a majesty beyond the mortal realm.

The three Hollows were terrified and tried to flee. Ichigo simply raised his hand. Reishi gathered in his palm, forming a glowing white bow. He pulled back the invisible string.

In an instant, like rain falling on flowers, arrows of light shot out, annihilating the three Hollows instantly.

Under God's gaze, destiny had veered off course. Substitute Soul Reaper Ichigo had vanished; Quincy Ichigo had arrived in style.

However, a Bleach world without Substitute Soul Reaper Ichigo is like a meat pie without meat. Mo Yu's mind raced. The deviation had occurred, but there was still room to fix it. He gripped his mouse and moved it violently—the invisible hand of God grabbed Rukia's hand and pushed it forward.

And so, while Ichigo was still immersed in his "cheat-mode" victory, he felt a sudden shock. He turned around in disbelief, meeting Rukia's equally stunned gaze.

But it didn't matter. Rukia's Zanpakuto had already pierced through Ichigo's chest from behind.

The surging Soul Reaper power poured in, disrupting the Quincy power currently filling his body.

The clash of energies caused Ichigo's vision to go dark, and he blacked out immediately.
