The officiant gestured for Alessandro to begin. "Alessandro, your vows."
Alessandro took both of Sienna's hands. His were shaking slightly. Nervous. But his voice was steady when he spoke.
"Sienna. Three years ago, I met you at a charity gala and I knew immediately that you were going to change my life. I just didn't know how much. I didn't know that loving you would mean facing every fear I had. Confronting every lie I'd been telling myself. Choosing to become someone worthy of you instead of just wishing I already was."
He took a breath. Sienna could see emotion threatening to overwhelm him. She squeezed his hands. Encouraged him to continue.
