Chapter 3 - Born Noble, Fate Unclear

After hearing Elder Mu Ziyan's words, Wang Yun fell into deep thought.

His son possessed an old-era bloodline… yet it was unknown.

This left him confused. Normally, any cultivator with an old-era bloodline had a high chance of a powerful future. But an unknown bloodline meant uncertainty.

Wang Yun waved his hand lightly.

"Elder Mu Ziyan, you may leave," he said.

After she departed, Wang Yun stood alone and whispered to himself, "He still possesses an old-era bloodline. That alone is not a problem. Perhaps in the future, his bloodline will reveal itself."

Several hours later.

Wang Yun summoned all the disciples of the Eternal Flame Sect. Madam Wang Xinyi also stood outside, holding the newborn child.

Everyone waited for nearly thirty minutes. During that time, whispers spread through the crowd.

"I heard the young master possesses an old-era bloodline."

"Really? Then his future is guaranteed!"

"Today, the Patriarch is going to name the young master."

Suddenly,

"Silence."

The elders appeared, followed closely by the Patriarch himself. Wang Yun stepped forward and looked at the gathered disciples.

"Today is a good and beautiful day," Wang Yun said calmly. "For I now have a child of my own."

Murmurs spread, but he raised his hand again.

"My son possesses an old-era bloodline," he continued, "but for now, it remains unknown."

In an instant, the disciples and elders were shocked.

Not because the child possessed an old-era bloodline,

But because it was unknown.

However, after a moment, many calmed down. Even an unknown old-era bloodline still carried a far higher chance of future success than ordinary bloodlines. That alone was enough.

Wang Yun's voice echoed once more.

"Today, I officially name my child, Wang Fang."

Cheers erupted instantly.

Excitement filled the air as the Patriarch ordered wine to be served. Laughter and celebration spread throughout the Eternal Flame Sect.

Meanwhile,

Qin Feng, who was now named Wang Fang, quietly observed everything from his mother's arms.

He was curious. Not just about the celebration, but about the world itself.

This place… it's different from my previous world, he thought.

Everyone wore flowing robes, Hanfu, the traditional clothing from his old world. But here, it felt natural, as if this world had always existed this way.

Is this because I reincarnated? Wang Fang wondered. Or was it the doing of that mysterious being at the Gate of Reincarnation?

The thought alone sent a chill through his tiny body. The memory of that terrifying voice made him tremble.

Madam Wang Xinyi felt the movement and smiled gently.

"He must be hungry," she said softly, turning to carry him inside.

Wang Fang felt embarrassed. The way they treated him, holding him, feeding him, comforting him,

I really am a baby now…

No matter how much he wanted to act differently, he couldn't speak. He couldn't move freely
