Chapter 198 - Chapter 198 Two Deadpools?

These two human-shaped bone hands belonged to no one else but the skeleton of Zombie Wolverine.

Previously, Darian discovered that although Zombie Wolverine was gone, its pair of hand bones could still use the Adamantium Claws, so he simply handed them to Strucker for modification, turning them into the weapon that now fits his hands perfectly.

At this very moment, Darian equipped the Adamantium Claws on both hands, transforming into Wolverine and engaging in a fight with Deadpool.

The two fought with speed, claw shadows and sword light tangling together, the sound of metal colliding clanging loudly, sending countless sparks flying.

Deadpool's swordsmanship was without any tricks; every move went straight for the vitals, sharp and decisive.

Darian's skills were not inferior either; his speed was even slightly faster than Deadpool's. He easily parried the incoming sword blades with his Adamantium Claws, spotted an opening, lunged forward, and swung both claws rapidly.

Frenzied Clawing!

Slash! Slash! Slash! Slash!

Accompanied by the sound of tearing flesh, several terrifying, bloody wounds instantly appeared on Deadpool's body. A large chunk of flesh on the side of his neck was even sliced away, revealing the silver-shining Adamantium skeleton underneath.

If not for this layer of the hardest metal in the World supporting it, his head would likely have been severed on the spot.

However, almost the second the wounds appeared, Deadpool's Healing Factor began to run frantically. The upturned skin and flesh healed rapidly; before the blood could even drip, new tissue had already covered it.

Within just a few breaths, those shocking scars had disappeared without a trace, as if they had never existed.

At the exact moment the wounds healed, Deadpool's figure suddenly vanished from where he stood!

The next instant, he appeared abruptly in Darian's blind spot behind him, his right hand swinging the sword to stab at Darian's neck!

Darian, listening to all directions, backhanded a claw to block backwards, stopping Deadpool's backstab.

But Deadpool, missing the strike, blurred and vanished again, immediately flashing into existence from above Darian's head. With swords crossed, he slashed fiercely toward the crown of Darian's head!

Darian seemed to have anticipated it, crossing his claws upward to block, stopping Deadpool's attack once again.

Following that, Deadpool's figure flickered at high frequency around Darian. One second he was slashing horizontally from the left, the next he was thrusting from the right, and in the blink of an eye, he might be slashing down from the front.

His offensive came continuously from all angles, never stopping, like a tireless killing machine, attacking Darian frantically.

Deadpool's teleportation had no pattern and was elusive. Combined with his Healing Factor that ignored damage, it was simply extremely cheap.

If it were anyone else, they would have long been chopped into mincemeat by Deadpool.

But Darian seemed to be able to predict the attacks, always managing to keep up with Deadpool's rhythm in time and easily blocking every assault.

One must know that the Agility attribute does not just increase movement speed; it also encompasses nerve response, attack speed, dynamic vision, and so on.

Although Darian's Agility was far from as exaggerated as his Strength, it had long since surpassed the realm of ordinary people. Coupled with the effect of the Dead Eye, predicting and keeping up with Deadpool's teleportation attacks was more than enough for him.

Deadpool launched an attack at Darian once again.

Darian suddenly retracted two of the Adamantium Claws on his right hand, lifting the remaining one to parry.

"Parry!"

Clang—!

The Adamantium Claws and the Adamantium sword blade collided violently, erupting with a piercing sound of metal friction.

A strange and powerful rebounding force was transmitted back along the blade; Deadpool's entire body went numb, and his movements involuntarily froze in place.

Darian lifted his left leg and kicked with full force against Deadpool's chest!

Bang!

A dull thud of Impact sounded.

Deadpool flew backward in response, his whole body slamming into the wall behind him as if hit by a cannonball. He was deeply embedded into it, and cracks spread across the surface of the wall like a spiderweb.

At that moment, two figures lunged out from the side; Logan and Victor unleashed their sharp claws, attacking Deadpool directly.

Their wounds had long since healed, but the rhythm of the battle between Darian and Deadpool was too fast, and they hadn't been able to intervene, but now they finally found an opportunity.

Facing the pincer attack of the two brothers, Deadpool did not teleport to dodge, his eyes suddenly lighting up with blinding red light.

Whoosh—!!

Two red energy beams shot out from his eyes, sweeping across the front like cutting lasers!

Logan and Victor had nowhere to dodge and were hit hard by the red energy beams again. The powerful Impact blasted them away once more, and they fell heavily to the ground.

However, the red energy beams did not lose momentum, drawing two scorching trails in the air as they blasted straight toward Darian!

Super Armor!

Darian did not dodge or retreat, lifting his hand to block.

The red energy beams hit his body but were like clay oxen entering the sea, failing to cause even the slightest ripple; he didn't even move his feet an inch.

With the protection of the Fire-Repelling Bead, Darian could ignore the scorching damage of the red energy beams. The remaining physical Impact was blocked by the Protection Spell. These red energy beams, which could melt through steel plates, were nothing more than a warm breeze to him.

"Is that all?"

Darian curled his lips in disdain.

The next moment, he actually withstood the two continuously outputting red energy beams and charged forward!

The red energy beams scorched the air in front of him but could not slow him down in the slightest; in the blink of an eye, he was already in front of Deadpool.

Darian twisted his right fist, and a straightforward, unadorned straight punch slammed right into the center of Deadpool's face!

Bang!

Amidst the heavy sound of Impact, the red energy beams shooting from Deadpool's eyes instantly cut off, and his head sank into the wall behind.

But Darian did not stop, his fists pouring down like a rainstorm!

"Ora ora ora ora—!"

Amidst the dense shadows of fists, Deadpool's figure swayed crazily with the inertia.

His head sank deeper and deeper under the continuous heavy blows, and the cracks in the wall spread outward; the scene was quite shocking.

"Time to hand out gifts."

Seeing that Deadpool's head was completely embedded in the wall, Darian casually tossed out a few C4 explosives and turned to dash into the distance.

Boom—!!

A deafening explosion roared!

The firelight instantly swallowed the location where Deadpool was, and a powerful shockwave carrying debris and smoke exploded in a ring!

In the control room, the screens were illuminated a stark white by the fire of the explosion.

Under the flickering light, a middle-aged officer's expression was terrifyingly gloomy.

This person was none other than Stryker, Logan's former superior and the mastermind behind everything.

He was an extreme racist. Because his son was a Mutant who couldn't control his Mutant abilities and accidentally killed his wife, he grew to hate Mutants and vowed to eliminate all Mutants in the World.

In his view, only Mutants could defeat Mutants.

For this, he secretly pushed forward a weapon program, capturing and fusing the abilities of different Mutants, intending to create the ultimate killing weapon that would obey him completely.

And Deadpool was his most successful experimental subject to date.

Deadpool had been implanted with multiple Mutant abilities, and paired with an indestructible Adamantium skeleton, Stryker believed that no Mutant would be Deadpool's match.

But he never expected that Deadpool, without even leaving the "newbie village," would be pinned to the ground and repeatedly rubbed by an unknown guy, with almost no power to fight back.

Stryker gritted his teeth and growled, "Damn it! Who the hell is this guy!?"

A subordinate on the side quickly reported, "According to preliminary investigations, the other party was once a gang member. Later, the gang he belonged to was targeted by the IRS for suspected long-term and large-scale tax evasion. Afterward, the entire stronghold was raided by a joint IRS law enforcement team, and the gang was dissolved as a result."

Stryker: "..."

Is the IRS this awesome?

Meanwhile, in the containment area, the fire of the explosion gradually subsided, and a tattered figure slowly walked out from the smoke and rubble.

At this moment, Deadpool's body was blown to tatters, covered in scorched black marks, with most of his flesh destroyed, and the silver-bright Adamantium skeleton visible inside; it looked ghastly.

However, this level of damage didn't count for much to him.

The wounds on Deadpool's body began to writhe violently, and brand-new granulation tissue grew frantically, filling the gaps in his body; in the blink of an eye, he recovered to normal.

"I hate cheaters."

Darian muttered to himself.

Deadpool's Healing Factor was even more troublesome than the Vampire Dracula.

Although Dracula's health recovery speed was also fast, at least it was countered by Darian's Light attribute, so no matter how thick his health bar was, it could be slowly ground down.

But the Deadpool in front of him, his health bar seemed to be locked; no matter how heavy the damage he received, he could always retain that last sliver of health and then instantly refill it at an extremely fast speed—it was more absurd than using cheats!

Fighting like this wasn't a solution.

Although Darian could waste a whole day with him, it was meaningless; he just wanted to pull the other party into his team.

But the problem was, this guy didn't even have a mouth; how was he supposed to recruit him?

Darian tried to release his mental power to hypnotize and control Deadpool, but discovered that the other party's mind was a blank slate—there was no complete consciousness or thinking, only fragmented sensory signals, like a formatted hard drive, leaving only the most basic operating programs.

Darian's mental power explored inside for a moment before finally withdrawing helplessly.

"Looks like there's no way to pull him into the team."

Darian shook his head, completely giving up on the idea of recruiting Deadpool.

The guy in front of him was simply a pure tool without self-awareness, acting entirely on instructions, and couldn't even achieve basic communication; the game system probably wouldn't recognize the other party's status.

Darian felt a bit regretful.

It was rare to encounter a member with a high-concentration Healing Factor, yet he couldn't be pulled into the team; now the dungeon quest would be even harder to complete.

"Where on earth am I supposed to find so many members with high-concentration Healing Factors?"

Bang!

Suddenly, a gunshot interrupted Darian's thoughts.

He saw Deadpool's head explode into a spray of blood, and the whole person fell sideways to the ground, motionless.

Darian: "?"

The invincible Deadpool fell?

Before he could react, he saw a figure swaggering in through the doorway.

This person was wearing a red tight-fitting uniform, fully armed, with two huge panda eyes printed on the hood. At first glance, it looked a bit like Peter's Spider-Man suit.

"You don't even have a mouth, and you have the nerve to call yourself Deadpool? Pfft!"

The newcomer cursed viciously. Seeming to feel it wasn't satisfying enough, he spat at the Deadpool on the ground again.

"Shit! I forgot to take off my mask! Damn it, I feel like I'm going to throw up... ugh!"

Following that was a sound of unmasked retching, and then, as if disgusted again by his own vomit, even more violent retching sounds came.

Darian: "..."

So this is an idiot?

He glanced at the newcomer's info and was instantly stunned.

[NPC: Wade Winston Wilson]

[Codename: Deadpool]

[Favorability: 0]

[Comment: One of the strongest trash-talkers in Marvel, Marvel's number one goofball, Deathstroke's cousin, possesses the ability to break the fourth wall, as well as an extremely strong Healing Factor. Even if his head is cut off, he won't die, and he can travel to other parallel Universes.]

Another Deadpool?

Darian was extremely surprised; he didn't expect that this newly appeared man was actually the same person as the Deadpool on the ground.

And judging from the system comment, the Deadpool in front of him was actually a guy who could travel through parallel Universes.

Obviously, he ran over from another parallel Universe.

Compared to the muted Deadpool in this dungeon, this Deadpool obviously had much more to say. He shocked the whole scene the moment he appeared, and that natural-born goofball aura was several times stronger than Quill's.

Wade cycled between retching and being disgusted by his own vomit for half a minute before finally stopping.

Under Darian's extremely disgusted gaze, he took off his mask, shook it hard, and then put it back on his face.

Wade pretended nothing happened, scanned his surroundings, and finally locked his gaze on the Adamantium Claws on Darian's hands, scratching his butt in confusion.

"Did I come to the wrong place? Which version of Logan is this, and why is he wearing a mask?"

"I'm not Logan; Logan is over there."

Darian pointed to Logan in the distance.

Logan acted like he didn't see it; this guy clearly looked like a goofball, and he didn't want to have any interaction with him.

Wade looked at Darian, then at Logan, then back at Darian: "Wait, who are you? Is there a character like you in Marvel?"

Marvel?

Darian couldn't help but raise an eyebrow upon hearing Wade's words.

A Marvel character actually knows about Marvel?

But thinking about how the other party could break the fourth wall, he didn't find it strange anymore.

"I'm Darian, I traveled over from another parallel Universe."

"Doom!?"

Wade's eyes widened: "Motherfucker, how did you come here too? Aren't you supposed to be making a crappy movie with that Fantastic Four? No, wait, X-Men and Fantastic Four seem to both be Fox's copyrights, so a crossover doesn't seem that strange."

Listening to Wade's mumbling, Darian explained, "I am Darian, not Doom; that's just my online pseudonym."

"I get it, you're Doom's variant, just like me and this mute who can't talk."

Wade had an "I get it" expression, and while speaking, he fired several more shots at Deadpool, seemingly holding a lot of resentment.

Darian asked curiously, "Do you have a grudge?"

Wade nodded affirmatively: "Yes, my hatred for him is second only to that Canadian man who took the Green Lantern script!"

"Who is that?"

"The guy who played me. I'm planning to head out later to kill him, to save his reputation!"
