Arc 2 chapter 19
The sun was hot, but the air was at least fresh and cool, maybe because it was at the top of a rocky mountain with rocks and sand as far as the eye could see and little bushes and weeds grew everywhere, but this was not what made the place feel a little bit off, but a giant rock was at the center of it all and it was emitted a huge amount of aura. Sion was not shaken but did feel annoyed about the situation.
Sion: (sigh) first we came to the storm and got swept up the moment some random dude came out of nowhere and punched Albert on the face and now... I'm at this place? And where's Alex and the others? Oh man Lynn's gonna kill me if he finds out I lost his son after trusting me with him? (brushing his hair with his nails out of frustration)
Ssp4: you're a maiden in love I see!
Just when Sion was having an internal struggle, a big muscular man was standing behind him at the top of a rock and the one thing that stood out the most was his bald head which was shining under the sun and almost blinding, but Sion was not surprised.
Sion: oh you finally decided to come out?
Ssp4: oh? The little girl knew I was here?
Sion: ah yeah, since I got here actually. I'm not a girl by the way.
Ssp4: you're not a girl? Hahaha who are you trying to fool? But I'll admit you're flat as hell but the thights are coming in just fine though...
Sion: I said I'm not a girl you pervert! Anyways who are you?
Ssp4: haha I'm Power number 4 of the Sun Spiders and I got no name except that!
Sion: I see you're the loud type and Sun Spiders? What's that?
Ssp4: we're a group that specializes in studies of science and alchemy and our biggest achievement yet will be taking the Cursed Storm for ourselves.
Sion: taking the Cursed Storm? I see... You're the guys that destroyed the Rabbit beast-folk village didn't you?
Ssp4: ah yes! A small secrifice for a great course!
Sion: great course my ass, if you control the storm somehow there's no way you won't use something like that as a weapon!
Ssp4: you're right but weapons can be used to make peace! That's how many conquerors did it in the past and it can be done today and tomorrow!!!
Sion:... That's it, you make me sick! I'll kill you right here right now!
Ssp4: hahaha what are you gonna huh?... What the!... (caughs out blood)
When Power 4 looks below,Sion's hand had come out from his stomach and Sion was right behind him with a very dark look in his eyes and to make matters worse... He was smiling.
Sion: oh you're way too slow.
Ssp4: what the fuck?! How?....
Sion: simple, it's because you're a dumbass who underestimate his opponents cuz of their size and looks... Now you pay the price for it.
Ssp4: you... You're no normal kid... Blugh!!
Sion adjusted his hand then splitted Power 4 in two and then his blood sprayed all over the place as his dead body was now in two different places and Sion stood there looking at his hand.
Sion: ughh his blood sprayed all over me and it's gonna take a while to wash this off my white hair... Anyways that's what you get for calling me a girl and picking on my friends... now it's just you and me.
Sion said looking at the giant rock at the center of the field that was emitting aura. Sion got closer to the rock and then the ground started shaking and the rock was slowly taking humanoid form and it transformed into a Giant Rock Golem.
Sion: mhm... Now that I think about it, I should have kept that guy alive for information and how he got here and how to get out and more info on the Sun Spiders but... (sigh) I let my emotions get the better of me, for now let me focus on dealing with this guy.
The golem went straight for Sion and tried to smash him with it's fists but Sion dogded it and countered with [lightning strike LV3] but it had no effect and the golem pushed Sion back with aura cannons and Sion got hit by one of them but quickly recovered.
Sion: not only does it have a strong defense but has excellent mana control...(scoffs) then I just have to break your defense to pieces.
Sion charged straight to the and enhanced his arms with aura and went straight to brawl with the golem using [rapid punch LV5] and went fist to fist with the golem but Sion was faster and when the golem threw aura cannons at him, he blocked them using his own aura as a shield at the same time while fighting. This strategy will costs a lot of aura for Sion but he already knew this and he got a plan in mind. The golem started cracking a little after taking a lot of hits from Sion but it wasn't going to go down at any moment... At least that's what it thought as it looked like Sion was in a corner but Sion used [super speed] to get behind it and then he climbed it's back and placed his hands where the cracks on the golem were and...
Sion: I learned this from Lucia, get a load of this! [earthquake LV2]
Since the giant rock golem is a monster made of rock, earthquake could work on it because of the rock surface and because of the fact that any golem works only on mana and nothing else, it doesn't have internal organs that could've made earthquake not work on it.
Sion: (huff huff) you costed me a lot of mana... I need to train more....?!
After these words a portal appeared and Sion finally understood how it all works and that he was in some sort of trail or test but after the realization he headed to the portal and found himself floating at the sky and he tried to balance himself as he floating at the current of the storm carrying him upwards like before... But something was different, as Sion looked up, he was frozen in fear as something was starring back at him but it was bigger and more terrifying with it's big dead eyes... A giant undead head was at the top of the tornado looking at Sion and it was emitting the largest volume of mana which Sion has ever felt before and because of that he was frozen in place.
Sion: fuck.... I'm dead.
Giant Undead: ROAR!!!!!!!!
