Everything was going smoothly on their way back, until the third day, in a forested section of road. All of a sudden and out of nowhere, several men came out of the bushes, blocking the road. There was no need to think so much about it, these men were certainly bandits.
Counting them, there were eight of them in total, all with their weapons drawn.
"Well, well. Travelers with coin have come to make our day. Hand over your valuables and no one gets hurt." One of them said, and from the way he acted, he seemed to be their leader.
Cole stepped forward, hand on his sword. "Walk away. We're Iron Vanguard. This won't end well for you."
The bandit paused for a while, as if processing what he had just heard, then he burst out with a wild and short laugh. "Guild tags don't scare me, boy. Eight against five… Bad odds."
Before Cole could respond, Thorin moved.
