After Ivan delivered his firm words, Naofumi had no choice but to obey, despite the lump in his throat. Gathering what remained of his magic, Naofumi shouted, "Inflation Magic: The Rock Throne!" A massive, flat rock swelled beneath the wounded men's feet, and Naofumi carried them away from the blast's epicenter.
No sooner had Naofumi moved than General Batory sensed the opportunity and unleashed a sharp sonic wave to tear the rock and everything on it apart. But Ivan was faster; in a swift motion, a thick flame erupted from his blades, forming a blazing spiral.
Ivan: "Double Flame Attack: The Dragon Cannon!"
The flames collided with the sonic wave in an explosion that shattered the purple haze. Batory stepped back, a bitter smile of appreciation spreading across his face.
Batory: "You're not bad, lad... Withstanding an attack this debilitating requires an iron will." Naofumi stepped back, casting one last tearful, worried glance at Ivan, and cried out in a choked voice, "Please, Ivan... don't die! Just hold on until Commander Yahiko arrives!"
Ivan remained alone in the shattered hall before Batori and Princess Elena, who watched from the sidelines. A heavy silence fell, broken only by Batori's mocking voice:
Batori: "You let your companions leave and stayed behind... either you're a reckless suicide bomber, or you're a madman who doesn't grasp the magnitude of the disaster before you!"
Ivan thought to himself: The first level of Phoenix Fire magic is draining my magical power spiritually, while at the second level, I only have ten minutes for this body to survive. If it doesn't, I'll have to change my original form.
Elena Frankenstein watched and said, "Who is he? We have no information about him."
Batori: "What's the matter, Princess?"
Elena: "There's no information about this human." "Human!" Batori shouted as he charged toward Ivan. "What's your name?"
The struggle began. We see Batori unleash a barrage of his Sound Magic strikes.
Batori: Sound Magic "Sound" (Sound Bullets).
Ivan was dodging them, but then the unexpected happened. He began to experience a turmoil within himself.
His heart was pounding. Ivan: "What?" (Strong thumps) "Not now," (His eyes were closed). "Calm down."
Batori launched a surprise attack, but he blocked it.
Batori: "Human boy, what do you say? Join us and ask the queen to turn you into a vampire. Pretty good deal, right?"
Elena rushed towards him, saying: "Batori, we don't have time to stall. Blood Magic, Earden (Ice Bloodballs)." Ivan: (His heart pounding) That girl has a soul beside her. There isn't much time left. Fire magic, Asurin (flaming arrows)!
Dozens of blazing fire arrows shot out, striking Elena's blood spheres in the center of the hall. A series of explosions echoed, then Batori rushed forward with lightning speed, saying, "Don't worry, we won't kill you. We'll take you with us." Using magic that transformed the air around him into invisible sonic blades, he tore through the rocks in his path, and a thick cloud of magical dust rose, obscuring vision for a few seconds.
A few meters away, Princess Elena Frankenstein said, "Who is this boy? Really?"
But her expression began to change from cold to worried. Thanks to the Lion Spirit within her, Elena could not only see the fight, but she could sense something behind Ivan's attacks.
Elena (to herself): "This is impossible... His body is overflowing with ordinary fire magic, but the Lion Spirit within me senses that there is an entity behind this boy... What is it?" Batory: "It seems your magic is starting to wear off! Surrender now; it's a miracle you've held on like this."
Ivan was battling Batory's sonic blades, Elena's magic attacks, and her sword clashes. His vision was gradually fading. (His heart pounded, aching from within.) "Two more minutes." Elena Frankenstein, with the "Lion Spirit" within her, began to see flames erupting from Ivan.
Elena: "This flame isn't ordinary, Batory."
Batory: "I've noticed that too. This human boy might destroy himself; he's truly reckless! Let's end this, Princess."
Elena shot forward with frantic speed, her crimson blade poised to deliver a fatal blow to Ivan before he could muster his full strength. Caught between Batori's sonic waves and Elena's blade coming from the side, Ivan felt certain death approaching.
But in that critical moment, under the weight of impending doom, Ivan drew his left hand toward its abandoned scabbard. With a swift movement, a metallic scream echoed through the dungeon, and a second blade, charged with Phoenix flames, erupted.
The two swords collided with Batori and Elena's attacks simultaneously, creating a purple-red shockwave that ripped everything around them. Batori and Elena stood stunned, their eyes wide with shock.
Batori and Elena (in unison): "What?! The Two-Sword Style?"
Ivan was propelled against the wall amidst the dust, the blade of his sword ablaze with Phoenix flames in his right hand. His features had shifted, his eyes transformed.
Ivan: Tsun (Eye of the Crimson Void). Batori and Elena launched a coordinated attack on him, and just as he was about to unleash his power, fate intervened. The Ninth Division's commander appeared, saying, "Calm down, boy. Storm Magic, Dimbura (Storm of Nothingness)."
Ivan's eyes shifted back to normal.
Yahiko: "Batori, you've truly crossed the line this time."
Batori: "Yahiko Soran, you bastard! It's been a long time."
Under the light of the full moon, which silently watched from behind the clouds, the dungeon erupted with an energy it had never witnessed before. It wasn't just a fight; it was a fierce clash between them.
Yahiko stood firm, surrounded by an aura of Storm Magic that had taken the form of a dinosaur spirit behind him, gripping the blade of his sword, which glowed gray. In contrast, General Batori smiled coldly, while purple musical notes and black sonic frequencies swirled around him like a cyclone of invisible death. Batori (his voice echoing through the bones): "Do you really think your magic can keep up with the speed of sound, Yahiko?"
Yahiko (with a sharp glare): "Still the same old Batori. Don't you understand that my magic attacks don't need to keep up with sound? They tear it apart from within."
As soon as he finished speaking, Yahiko shot out like a whirlwind. His magic-charged blade slammed into Batori's sonic shield, creating a dazzling burst of light in the center of the hall. The energy generated was so intense that the walls cracked from the sheer atmospheric pressure.
As the giants clashed, Ivan watched the scene with difficulty, trying to suppress the red aura that threatened to erupt from his body once more. Ivan realized that Yahiko's appearance wasn't just a rescue, but a silent message to him: "Keep out of sight... Your power isn't for display now."
Then Elena leaped forward to confront Yahiko as well.
Elena: Ice Magic, Achas (Ice Blades).
Yahiko was facing them with great skill.
Ivan: I see. You too met Old Man Jin, Commander Yahiko. That old man planned everything, knowing I wouldn't be able to use my power in this body.
Jugu appeared behind Ivan and said: Take this magic potion to recover.
Ivan: Thank you. How are they?
Jugu: The deputy was badly injured but is recovering. The same goes for the rest. Do you know, Ivan, that standing up to the princess of the Kingdom of Kong and their general is incredible? Don't worry, Naofumi asked not to tell the others that you were left alone against them. Yahiko was fiercely battling Elena and Batori while Ivan recovered and Jogo watched anxiously. The scene shifts to the Kingdom of Yonjun. We see Ritsu, the Emperor's aide, saying, "Your Majesty, something important has happened. The Ninth Division is seriously wounded."
Ryohei: "All of them?!"
Rito: "Except for Naofumi and Ivan, but Yahiko caught up with them."
Ryohei: "What happened?"
Rito: "We don't know yet. Jogo took them to the hospital and rushed back to the dungeon."
Ryohei: "Let me know if anything happens, Ritsu."
The scene returns to the dungeon. We see Ivan being treated and preparing. He says, "Thank you, Jogo."
Then he rushes towards the princess to fight her.
Elena: "I'll admit it, I'm not bad, but don't underestimate me, human."
The epic battle between Ivan and Elena Frankenstein begins, a spectacular fight that impresses Batori, who says, "You have a wonderful, crazy boy, Yahiko. Who is he?"
Yahiko (smiling): "His name is Ivan." Batory: Ivan, huh? That's interesting. He's the first one to stand up to the princess.
The battle between them intensified.
At that moment, the masked figure appeared above the ruins of the shattered gate, holding a glowing orange crystal.
He said, "Well, Elena and the rest, the fun begins."
Then the ground beneath them exploded with tremendous force.
Batori: What? Princess, be careful.
The princess had lost her balance in her fight with Ivan when the female Hydra appeared, its mouth wide open, ready to devour her. But Ivan shouted, "Double Flame Tornado!"
He charged at the monster, but the female Hydra sent them both flying deep into the dungeon. Yahiko: Hey, boy!
Batori: Princess!
The two of them were about to follow when the male Hydra attacked them.
Batori: What? He's back again.
Yahiko: Damn it.
Deep in the dungeon, Ivan and Elena stood side by side with the female Hydra before them.
