Light decided to finally begin doing the things she ought to do and one morning she woke up and started with prayer, she invited the blessed trinity God the father the son (Jesus Christ)and the holy spirit to read with her and everything she did on that day. She felt blessed having God by her side. After reading for about an hour she went to write a novel she was hoping to be released when God has helped her realized her dreams.
The day was quite hectic, Light had to go help her mom at the shop, she didn't like going to the shop but because she had decided to be more obedient and disciplined she went. Sales were really much that day it was as if God was the one in charge and yes Light knew he was totally in charge and thanked him.
At 7pm Light closed the shop and went home, getting home her mom was in the kitchen, Light felt a little tired,but then her mom called to her and asked her to help out in the kitchen, Light for a brief moment was angry and sad she wondered why she had to do everything at home meanwhile there were other people at home,her brother's were home but never helped out, in every situation her parents will always say she is a girl so she should do all the house chores.
Light wondered if all a girl child is to do in this world is to be the one to always work,it was even worse as she was a first daughter in Nigeria.She was lost in her thoughts and then her mom threw her a knife and she came back to reality, she sulked in sad and yet walked into the kitchen to help out saying nothing.
After cooking she served the food for her parents and siblings and went back to her room. She was in no mood to eat, she contemplated but yet asked God saying "Did you really create girls to be slave in this life ?"
God said to her"I haven't created my daughter's to be slaves but the authority has declined girls from the right they should have."
Light, for a brief moment paused and thanked God and said maybe things are not as bad as I thought.
She took her phone and began to scroll on her phone she entered tiktok and was watching a few reels she then came across a video in this video a girl preached the word of God concerning a time where Moses shared properties among people except to a particular family because they were just girls. The girls confronted Moses and asked him to give them theirs,Moses confused went to the Lord and asked if he should give them and you bet, The Lord told Moses to give it to them as it is supposed to be theirs, and gender shouldn't be a reason to not allow people benefit from what they deserve.
Light felt this was God talking to her through this, reminding her that he is ever supportive of his children and loves his daughters and wouldn't allow them continue to suffer this grief. Light felt a huge burden lifted, her mood brightened, she thanked God for this message and went to eat after which she had her night bible study and prayer section with God and slept ,she felt very peaceful.
That night Light had a dream, in the dream she was in a house sitting outside enjoying the cool breeze and suddenly she saw something....
