Damian wanted to find out about his parents but didn't know where to start. Damian figured he could go around the entire country and look for someone whose DNA matched his with Bio-Vision, but it would take a long time, and it was the only way he could find out who they were.
Damian didn't rush to look for them and started to search for information about surrogacy, IVF, or kids who died after birth. Damian went to the library and looked for information related to that, but sadly he found nothing.
He ended up learning about IVF, which led him to study medicine. He understood some of the material because he had learned biology and physics before.
He knew what in vitro fertilization was and how it worked. He found out the first successful IVF birth was in 1978, which made sense.
The thing that made him search for IVF was that he remembered it being mentioned in the show somewhere, but he couldn't remember why it was mentioned.
He figured out that because he didn't remember someone injecting him with something after he was born, or because he was dead when they injected him with it, that's why he couldn't remember.
After a few months, he learned everything about medicine, and that evolved his Bio-Vision and Abrokinesis.
Later, when he went to a nearby hospital to look for records about patients who gave birth, he saw a person with cancer and blasted him. The cancer stopped growing afterwards. That's when he knew that he could correct what was incorrect in the biology of a living being.
Sadly, he didn't find anything in the records. All the kids who were born between January and March had parents. The reason he searched January to March was because he hoped he was wrong about his birthday, wishing for someone to be his parents.
Damian started going to hospitals with hopeful looks in search of his parents, but his hope kept fading each time he couldn't find them.
He hoped but came back disappointed.
When he found someone who died after birth, his hope increased, and he searched for the child's parents but found out their DNA didn't match his. He became disappointed afterwards.
Even with all his failures, Damian kept searching for them with hope in his heart. He searched every hospital in each state but was unsuccessful each time. He searched 10 states in a span of 4 months because he was desperate and Not In A Hurry.[1]
He searched hospitals and clinics as well but couldn't find his mother. The kids in the orphanage asked Damian to slow down a little, but Damian would rest for a week before starting his search again.
He continued managing his relationships with the kids in the orphanage. He didn't want to lose those relationships in search of his parents.
He didn't have anyone else or know anyone besides the kids.
Damian never lost hope and kept searching. He started looking at graveyards, but all the ghosts looked at him weirdly when he searched for someone he didn't know. He searched there thinking maybe they were already dead.
He stopped looking at graveyards and continued looking through hospital archives. He searched everywhere but couldn't find them.
The year became 1990, and Damian turned 13 while he was searching for his parents. Nadia got adopted again but was returned after a few weeks because the parents died.
The director of the orphanage figured out that Nadia was the one who kept killing her parents and got killed when he confronted Nadia about it.
The next director who was brought in figured out that Nadia needed a line of sight to blow someone's head off and started covering Nadia's eyes when he started testing everyone's powers.
They couldn't take Nadia's blood because her skin was impenetrable, and when they took Damian's blood trying to replicate it like Dr. Birks, the subject who was injected with Damian's blood would die.
Damian tried to warn him, but the director said he was smarter than the crazy Dr. Bred Birks. Afterwards, he stopped taking Damian's blood and focused on Tony.
While that was happening, Damian kept searching and searching. He was about to give up when he found his answer in Los Angeles.
He found out about a child who died after he was born and searched for the child's parent.
When he found her, he smiled because the DNA matched his. He was afraid to approach her and only looked at her from afar.
Damian started stalking her.
He found out where she worked, who she hung out with, and what she did in her spare time. He found out she was a divorced woman, and she lived alone in the house she got after her divorce.
The woman's name is Alice Claire Devonport. She's 43 years old, and she got married at 28. She works as an admin clerk at a logistics company and earns minimum wage. She got divorced at the age of 34, and there were no disputes with her ex-husband.
Damian decided to enter her house after she left. He looked around the house, and it was just a normal house. There were no pictures on the walls except art.
He looked around the kitchen and found out there weren't that many groceries. There were only enough groceries for a single person and a little extra for guests.
He started to check each room, and it was just a normal house. Damian went to another room and found a room that had a wooden cot in it. There were presents beside the wooden cot, and Damian counted 13 of them.
The room was painted blue all around with some stars on the walls.
Damian picked up one of the presents, and on top of it was written, "Happy Birthday, My Son. You turn 5 today. I bet you can outrun me. Love, Mom❤️." Damian started crying when he read the message.
The room was filled with presents like a bicycle, a school bag, a soccer ball, toy cars, and so on. Damian smiled while tears fell from his eyes when he saw all that.
He held the present box in his arms as he looked at it. Tears fell on top of it, and he didn't wipe them away.
A caucasian woman entered the room while holding a wooden rolling pin, trying to attack Damian, but when she looked at Damian's face, she froze and said something.
"Michael."
