Chapter 152 - Chapter 153 Swordsmanship That Shatters Space

"Roar! I am the strongest!"

Abomination's muscled arms were raised high as he slammed the ground amidst an extremely furious roar. His five-meter frame swelled further, and the protruding vertebrae on his back sprouted hideous bone spikes that reflected a cold glint under the sunlight.

Makiya frowned. He could feel Abomination's strength increasing further, which was highly abnormal. Unlike the Hulk, Abomination's mutation was usually stable; his power shouldn't fluctuate with anger, and there was typically a set limit to his strength. The drawback was that Blonsky couldn't switch back and forth between his human and Abomination forms; that dull green skin was permanent.

Abomination's current state was off. His strength and recovery were actually increasing alongside his rage. This was a trait unique to the Hulk, yet it was now appearing on Abomination. Combining this with how he had slaughtered the soldiers when he first appeared, Makiya guessed that the military had likely done something to him.

Although the Marvel world didn't place much importance on looks, Abomination's disgusting green appearance was truly unsightly. This state of infinite growth likely had a threshold; once the military's tampering wore off, Abomination would probably revert to his original form.

The bone spikes protruding from his joints grew further, and a metallic luster coated his dark green skin. Although hideous, Abomination was undoubtedly a fierce beast of war now. His explosively growing muscles made him look as if he were cast from iron and bronze.

As the smoke settled, a partially rational Abomination looked up at Makiya, his fierce eyes burning with a raging desire for battle. Power flowed from every part of his body; at this moment, he felt invincible.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Every step Abomination took sank deep into the ground as he approached Makiya with clenched fists. His heavy body gradually accelerated, and a violent aura surged toward the sky, making those watching from afar feel as if they were being choked.

Pure white wings spread behind him as Makiya clasped his hands together. Chakra surged around him, and an endless sea of fire spread from beneath his feet. Golden flames instantly swallowed the sky, followed by flying swords emerging from the inferno.

Each flying sword was only three feet long, but there were hundreds, if not thousands, emerging from the flames. Looking up, the sky was covered in a dense, shimmering array of golden swords. Tens of thousands of them hovered behind Makiya, bobbing in a rhythmic pattern.

"Go!"

Upon the command, tens of thousands of flaming swords whistled in unison. Carrying an endless heatwave and an aura of destruction, they rained down upon Abomination.

In an instant, the sky was filled with dense golden shadows, like meteors falling to earth. The speed and quantity were staggering.

The golden light, enough to make anyone with trypophobia faint on the spot, expanded in Abomination's eyes. He pointed his bone spikes toward the sky, his muscles tensed, and he roared in fury. Each roar shook the earth, causing the ground beneath his feet to crack and shatter.

The flaming swords arrived in a flash. Abomination crossed his arms in front of him, his bulging muscles forming a solid defensive wall.

The swords slammed violently into his arms, instantly triggering intense bursts of light and heat. The massive impact forced Abomination's feet deep into the soil, but he didn't budge. Only the fire in his eyes burned even more intensely.

His enhanced skin's defensive power had become even more formidable. When the swords hit him, they only left behind scorched black marks. However, as they say, a thousand cuts will eventually bring down even the mightiest giant. The unending stream of swords acted like a waterfall descending from the heavens, continuously hammering Abomination.

Under such high-intensity impact, Abomination couldn't even manage a counterattack despite his strength. His roars were drowned out by the continuous explosions. The fire scorched his body, and his proud defense was gradually breached, leaving him a bloody mess.

Sword after sword mercilessly pierced Abomination's body, carving away chunks of muscle. Thick, dark green blood splattered everywhere, hitting the scorched earth and instantly evaporating into a bloody mist due to the heat.

Abomination's body slowly became mangled as his resistance grew weaker. His strength was fading fast, and his eyes flickered with resentment and fury.

Makiya showed not a trace of mercy. He pushed his hands forward violently, and the remaining fire swords delivered a fatal strike. Driven by his Chakra, they all plunged into Abomination's body. Fire and explosions swallowed the ground, and lava began to flow slowly, releasing plumes of thick smoke.

As the smoke dissipated, the majority of Abomination's massive body had disappeared. His chest and arms were completely hollowed out, exposing a pinkish spine and skeletal frame.

A rich green light bloomed within Abomination. This time, Makiya saw it clearly. The green light seemed incompatible with the flesh in Abomination's body, yet they shared the same source. This mysterious energy constantly nourished his body. Within seconds, Abomination's destroyed tissue healed at high speed, and his bulging muscles became even stronger.

"Injected with the Hulk's blood, have you? I'd like to see just how much you've taken."

Becoming infinitely stronger with anger was the Hulk's ability. Abomination's theft of this trait through a blood transfusion couldn't possibly be permanent. Every time he empowered himself, it would inevitably consume a large amount of the Hulk's blood, and he would eventually run out.

Makiya performed hand seals, and hundreds of clones appeared in the sky. Each Makiya had wings on his back, and rich Holy Light intertwined between them, as if a sacred melody were echoing through the crowd.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

"Holy Spear!"

"Dark Forbidden Zone!"

"Armament Haki - Tempest Kick: Dragon Sever!"

"Hyper Beam!"

"Hado #99. Goryutenmetsu!"

"

A torrential barrage of attacks fell from the sky. Terrifying energy fluctuations came from all directions, and the threat of death instantly loomed. His primal survival instinct allowed Abomination to briefly regain a shred of his human reason, but it was already too late.

Fire splattered, lightning surged, and gusts of wind erupted. Holy Light and Darkness annihilated each other. The ground vanished in an instant, and Abomination screamed as he was pummeled by the violent impacts and explosions, unable to fight back at all.

The island's underground had long been hollowed out by S.H.I.E.L.D. After the surface soil was blasted away, a vast metal structure made of special alloys was revealed below.

The technological creations that humanity took pride in were no different from tofu before Makiya. An unending stream of ninjutsu and skills poured down, causing the steel fortress to gradually collapse within the energy storm.

Abomination was powerless. His skin was erased by unknown attacks, his flesh dissolved, and his hard, hideous bones were crushed into powder like dry crackers under the energy impact.

Memories returned from his clones; Pierce had already been executed, and one Helicarrier had been added to his collection. Makiya looked around at the devastated battlefield. Thick smoke billowed into the high altitude, and he felt it was time to end this farce.

Below, inside the deep pit, Abomination had been reduced to a mere torso. His limbs were gone and his chest was wide open; beneath his ribs, his halved heart was still beating.

His tenacious vitality kept him from dying instantly. The last bit of green light bloomed from his spine, stubbornly trying to reshape his body.

Makiya waved his hand to summon a flying sword, intending to deliver the final blow to Abomination, when suddenly the sound of glass shattering echoed through the sky. Invisible ripples spread around him, and in the next second, everything returned to normal.

The Abomination below had vanished, and the S.H.I.E.L.D. building had restored itself at some point, as if nothing had ever happened.

Makiya narrowed his eyes. He had just felt a subtle spatial ripple. This was no longer Washington.

This was the Mirror Dimension!

The only person on Earth currently capable of doing this so silently was the Sorcerer Supreme, the Ancient One!

But the other party seemingly had no intention of showing up for a chat. The Mirror Dimension cut off the connection between the Flying Thunder God seals. Makiya frowned; if he wanted to get back, he would either have to open a spatial portal or simply blow this space apart.

Although he possessed spatial abilities himself, they were somewhat insufficient compared to the Ancient One's. Makiya chose to break through with raw power.

"Since you don't plan on showing yourself, don't blame me for getting rough!"

Hundreds of clones released rolling golden flames. The countless flames churned and surged, and at a certain moment, they all rushed toward the center as if an unknown black hole had appeared in the fire, swallowing the golden flames entirely.

As the volume of the fire shrank step by step, a condensed golden longsword was revealed in the center. The three-foot blade was incredibly solid, with surface textures like flowing lava that shimmered with a scorching light.

The blade was incomparably sharp, emitting a chilling aura. Simply being near it was enough to feel a heat capable of incinerating everything.

The entire flaming longsword floated there quietly, the surrounding space distorting and warping from the high temperature.

Makiya reached out and grabbed the flaming longsword, ignoring the extreme temperature as if he were holding an ordinary sword.

A large number of clones turned into white smoke and vanished as their energy was depleted. Makiya didn't pay attention to the changes around him, focusing his entire heart and soul into the blade.

Memories inherited from the DNF Blade Master class system flashed through his mind. The Imperial Sword Technique, modified using Transference energy, had long since transcended the realm of mundane swordsmanship. Its powerful moves could even breach the limits of time and space.

The Magic Emperor boss had trained the Blade Master class past the first awakening, reaching the realm of a Sword Master.

In other words, Makiya could theoretically cleave through space now. He just didn't know how high the spatial stability of the Marvel world was, but the stability of the Mirror Dimension was certainly lower than that of the real world.

Makiya leaned over and gripped the hilt, assuming a strange sword-drawing stance. The blade, containing terrifying power, was ready to strike as the gathered energy condensed frantically into a single point.

Makiya continuously searched for the feeling the Magic Emperor boss had when striking. Then, with a stroke of inspiration, he instinctively swung the sword with both hands. The blade emitted wild fluctuations, yet it appeared entirely effortless.

As the longsword swung out, an invisible sword intent instantly extended into the distance. The space in front of Makiya shattered like glass, and the 'shards' reflected images of two worlds: one was the messy battlefield, and the other was the empty cityscape of the Mirror Dimension.

"Ultimate Sword Art: Spacetime Slash!"
