Hey guys so before this story starts i would like to make a few things clear one i do not own anything from monster hunter or who ever owns that company this is just for fun and because i am bored and i been playing a lot of monster hunter recently also this story is inspired by the user TitoVillar and his or her Story Monster Hunter: This Dragon's Built Different
Also This story will have little interaction with humans from monster hunter mostly because i do not believe they would try and talk to a Raphalos and Because I do not know much about the personalities of some of the more important people in Monster Hunter IceBorn also this story will take place with in the New world because i know nothing of the old world so we will never go there and if i do mention it and some of what i mention is wrong do tell me and i will edit it Thank you and i Hope you enjoy this fanfic.

Well Child i have already said this before but i am what some call the voice of the world or as what some of my lazy children call me Evil never letting me sleep and laze around workaholic spirit.
Huh wait so you're like a god or well a goddess wait do you even have a gender since you don't have a body and what do you mean by children can gods even have children.
Well yes you could call me God because as far as this universe goes i am its only god from what i know many other universe have more and from time to time i do leave to see these other ones but that is very rarely and only for a very short time maybe 100 years for you mortals and by children i mean the beings i created

Well the only ones i know of are the ones closest to me and one of those i do not like because in that world the god that is in charge is all ways so rude at least the other 2 leave me alone for the most and for how you got here i do not know

Well one of them calls himself the presence, the other calls himself the one above all and the last is called Zeus. Zeus is the rude one all ways telling me that i should worship him its just so annoying

Oh so that is where you came from you came from the world that Those 2 gods Call the world where dreams come true or the fun spawner world as i can recall your world has no one god now does it that is strange as most world have a single god and or pantheon that is the only one in that world but your world have many and each are about equally in overall power.
Wait so every god is real and you know about our gods
Well yes in your world all of the major gods are real and i my self have been there a few times in the last 30 or so years mostly just passing by but it does seem a bit interesting i do see why the presence and TOA like to visit so often
So if you know where my world is can you send me back
I can not child for you see though we are gods we are gods with in our territories or as what you mortals call it multiverse and one of the only rules we have here are we are not allowed to take a mortal soul from one territory to a next with out every god or the god from that territory allowing it and since no one god rules your world the chances of you being allowed to go back are very unlikely so i will do what most gods do and give you a chance with in my world so mortal what would you like you may take 5 unique powers and traits and i swear as long as you do not try to destroy the planet and or a continent for no reason you will not be targeted and if you do not cause too much damage to the ecosystem on purpose

Well you may already know a little about it i have heard from the other gods that when we visit your world your people tell stories and many if not all of those stories are right we gods do not know how you get the stories from our world but it is said that your stories are able to see the future and the only reason we know this is because we are self can not look at those stories until those events happen in our world we do not know how but your world is just that unique i do believe that in your world my world is called Monster Hunter.
Wait so i am going to monster hunter can i be anything i want or do i have to be human.
You may pick any race you want besides an elder dragon.

Ok I am done but i do have a question one can i wish for my soul to be able to handle an elder dragon body
No child since your soul did not come from my own power i am unable to modify it until you become one from my world that is why from the stories i know many of the Reincarnates do not have immense power as many of their souls need time to grow but very few do have much stronger souls but as a draw back many of those more powerful souls do not get a choice when they reincarnate some do but many do not to be truth it depends on the god and the souls power but like for you you are at what many may call the perfect balance you may get some powerful abilities and utter that what same may call lacklester
So i am what at a point where any higher hurts me and any lower hurts me
Well in a simple way yes but me explaining it to you will take a few thousand or so millennium so unless you would like to hear about all of it we can just leave it at that and you may make your wishes but i may not have mention if you wish for something that could break the balance a few things will happen one all beings from my world will get stronger depending on how balance breaking the wish is 2 you will not be in the world you know from the shows and or games you have seen and 3 it will cost more wishes to get that power the wishes are based on the energy your soul may handle but telling you how much energy would be pointless for you so giving you a rough estimate on how many unique powers you may get is easter and more useful but before you say your wishes i do want you to agree to something

You see many of my children like to make trouble now some go to a point where they have to be killed for the better of the planet others are nice enough and understand the rules but many of those ones are lazy not all of them are lazy but many are and some of those that are lazy are also some times the only ones who can kill the trouble makers so what i would need you to do is once in a while when i ask you go and find the ones that are causing trouble and kill them i would like it if you are able to just stop them and not kill them but if they die i do not mind and do not worry i will only give you missions i think you are able to do and you will get some minor rewards for completing them
So just stop some trouble makers from time to time and i get a prize sure i do not mind

Yes you will be starting on an massive island it holds many variants of what the humans from my world call monsters and some new ones they have never met i do hope that one day they find that island but i do not know how long it will take them to find it but it should be soon as the like to watch elder dragons and more and more have been going there more frequently it the last few decades
Wait are the Rathalos on this island do they have 4 wing bones
Hmm well yes they do is this island in your world stories

Hmm so that is what it will be named ok well as since you know of this island what wishes will you like to make
Well First if i Cant be an Elder Dragon I would Like to Be a Rathalos the male ones not the female i do not wish to change gender since I am already changing race
Ok that will not take from your wish mostly it takes very little energy to do that so you may still pick 5 unique powers
Oh really ok So then for my first power i would like one called Devour so when i eat a monster i take traits from it to make me stronger and i take there Energy you know the stuff that comes from those laylines i also get a bit of there most important memories for example i know where the best prey are and who to avoid
Ok that is a very big wish that will take about 2/5 of your available energy so you may pick 3 more powers
That much ok then wait so those will not work ok for my next wish i would an ability to where when i am mutating or any new element that enters my body this ability will make it so it perfectly adjust to my body and does not change how i appear to much for example if my body is going to try and grow a new limb instead this power will take that thing add it to what i already have with out getting rid of what i had before so kinda like fusing them together in a way were at worst my scales may change in color or my size changes but i still would all ways like to look similar to a Raphaols as i like how they look and i would like to call the power Perfect Evolution
That is a major wish so now that wish took 2.5 of the energy you may use so now you can only make a few minor wishes left
Ok well i have 2 wishes could i just fuse them together
Depending on the wishes we will see tell me and if i have to adjust them i will tell you
Well for one i would like it so my body heals at an amazing speed so that no matter what the only way i could die is if someone or something cuts my head of and stabs my heart at the same time and for the second one i want a thing so when someone has hostile intent it tells me exactly where they are and every move they will make before they do also what there weakness are
Oh that is a lot so i can not give it how they way you said it but what i can do is make it so the regeneration heals your wounds faster for example little cuts and scrapes may only take about a minute of 5 to heal deep wounds that would take a day or 2 may only take a hour maybe a few and internal bleeding will take about a night rest but this will require you to eat more food depending on the wound and not worry this will stop when you are not being healed but this can not heal kill shots so anything that will kill you there and then will not heal and soul damge can not be healed and for the danger sense i can make it so if someone is about to attack you like mid lunge or something it warns you about where it is coming from and that's it i had to put most of your energy into your healing
That is actually really great i can be happy with that

Wait where is the gold and or pink ones why only these three not that i mind because they are all powerful in their own right but where are the others and what is Grey
Oh well you see Male Rathalos can only be one of these 3 color and Female can only be Green Pink and Gold so its easier to tell for Rathalos and that is just an red Rathalos but with Hypopigmentation
What is Hypopigmentation it is kinda like being an albino but this happens when instead of losing the part of your skin that makes you dark you lose the part that makes you light but Hypopigmentation is just a minor version of it like how Leucistic is a minor version of Albinoism.

Oh it looks like you landed on Grey there is one thing you should know Grey is not considered a sub spices by other Raphalos as they have witness 2 Red Rathalos make a grey over the generations so their instances still think they are normal Rathalos but the grey Rathalos are still rarely picked for being a mate because other Rathians would rather have a child who is bright red as to dark red because they think brighter make healthier off spring and stronger ones.
