"How?" Jogo sneered. "You plan to fight me while protecting these burdens?"
"Humans these days are arrogant."
If Sukuna's Vessel (Yuji) and the Target (White Zetsu) weren't standing behind him, Jogo would have incinerated them instantly.
"Don't worry," Mirai smiled gently. "Do whatever you want."
"Because you... are weak."
BOOM!
The ground exploded beneath Jogo's feet.
"You brat! You're asking for it!"
Jogo punched Mirai. His fist went straight through Mirai's head.
No impact? Jogo blinked. I blew his head off... but there's no blood?
"Yuji Itadori," Mirai said calmly, his head perfectly intact. He caught Jogo's wrist.
"White Zetsu told me about you. No Cursed Technique, but excellent physique."
WHAM!
Mirai drove his knee into Jogo's stomach.
"GAH!"
Jogo's single eye bulged. Purple blood sprayed from his mouth. He curled up like a shrimp.
"Basic Cursed Energy reinforcement," Mirai lectured as he punched Jogo's face. "Focus your energy. Strike with intent."
SMASH! SMASH! SMASH!
Purple blood flew everywhere. Mirai beat Jogo like a drum.
The students stared, dumbfounded.
"Strong..." Yuji whispered.
"Super strong," Nobara gasped.
If they hadn't felt Jogo's terrifying aura earlier, they would have thought Mirai was bullying a Grade 4 curse.
"Focus. Absolute focus."
Mirai grabbed Jogo by the arm and spun him around.
CRACK!
A whip kick broke the sound barrier. Red and black lightning flashed.
BOOM!!!
Jogo was launched into the mountainside. The impact created a massive crater.
Mirai looked at the severed arm he was still holding. He tossed it into his Kamui Dimension.
"Discard unnecessary emotions," Mirai said, wiping his hands. "Maintain a pure offensive mindset."
"Thank you, Sensei!" Yuji shouted, taking notes mentally.
"As for you, Megumi," Mirai turned to Fushiguro. "Your control over the Ten Shadows..."
RUMBLE!
The crater exploded. Lava erupted into the sky like fireworks.
"AHHH!! YOU BRAT!!"
Jogo roared, flying down from the mountain on a wave of magma.
"I'm going to tear that fake smile off your face!"
He was furious. He had been humiliated.
"Sensei! LAVA!" Yuji screamed, pointing at the tsunami of molten rock heading toward them.
"Megumi," Mirai continued calmly. "Don't rush to tame new Shikigami. Explore the potential of the ones you have."
He formed a hand seal.
"Rabbit Escape."
Shadows boiled.
Ten. A hundred. A thousand. Ten thousand.
An army of Rabbit Escape Shikigami surged from the ground. They weren't just cute bunnies—they were a tidal wave of shadows.
CRASH!
The sea of rabbits collided with the sea of lava. They piled up, body over body, creating a wall that stopped the magma dead in its tracks.
Megumi stared blankly. Rabbit Escape... can do that?!
"NOT OVER YET!" Jogo screamed.
He summoned hundreds of Ember Insects. They buzzed like angry hornets, aiming for the students.
"Nue," Mirai whispered.
SCREECH!
Lightning tore the sky. A massive Nue (far larger than Megumi's) swept down, frying the insects instantly.
Jogo landed, panting. He looked at Mirai with fear.
His attacks are heavy. My attacks phase through him. His Shikigami are monsters.
I can't win like this.
"Die!" Jogo unleashed a massive blast of fire, engulfing Mirai.
But Mirai walked out of the flames unscathed, the fire parting around him like water.
How?!
CRACK!
Mirai shattered Jogo's right arm again.
Jogo scrambled back. He healed his arm instantly.
I have to end this now.
Jogo clasped his hands together. Cursed Energy flared.
"Domain Expansion: Coffin of the Iron Mountain!"
