Lorenzo turned to look at Luciano, his eyes glinting with excitement. Without warning, he grabbed Gaia roughly by the arm and pulled her close. Before anyone could react, he threw her over his shoulder like she was nothing but a bag of goods.
Gaia screamed. "Let go of me!" she cried, her legs kicking wildly in the air.
Luciano just leaned back and smiled calmly. He didn't say a word. He didn't move. He just watched, eyes cool, as if the entire scene was just entertainment.
The other girls didn't dare say anything. They kept their heads low, their bodies still. Fear wrapped around them like chains.
Antonio's eyes burned with rage as he took a step forward, but the guard next to him shoved him back and gripped his arm hard, holding him in place.
Lorenzo chuckled and started walking away, Gaia still thrashing over his shoulder.
He turned slightly toward Luciano and grinned. "I'll take good care of her," he said. "Thanks for the gift."
