Cole forced his body to move as fast as he could to stop Micheal from swallowing that crystal.
While he moved, his heart raced with deep urgency as questions arose in his mind.
"Why would he do such a thing so fast?" Cole thought.
"I have only landed one attack; it isn't like the battle has ended."
Despite moving the instant he felt something was wrong, Cole was still unable to get to that place in time.
Micheal had successfully slid the crystal down his throat.
"Ohh damn," Cole thought as he readied himself for anything that was to come.
But the intense burst of dark energy that Cole expected didn't happen; instead, Michael slowly sat up as the charred-earth armor around him fell off slowly.
"You know what, Cole Bremont? I always knew you were dangerous."
"There's just no taking chances with you."
"And that's exactly why I won't be."
"I am going to come at you with all the strength I have and make sure you die before you can enact any more of your stupid skin."
