"Are we there yet?" asked Andrew as we all kept on walking at the side of the road. "Soon." answered Yeshua with a trace of excitement in His voice. "Is it just me or is Teacher is excited?" whispered Mattew to me. I looked at him and looked at Yeshua then looked back at him. "He does sound excited." I answered while I am now looking at Yeshua again. I wonder why…
It's been 2 hours and a half since we've said our farewells from the family of Akiane, and it will soon be dark. "It's getting dark now," said John as he looked up at the sky. "It's fine, you're wearing white." said Jaime then he smacked John's left arm. "What does it have to do with getting dark?" asked John confusedly. "Your shirt can reflect the light of the vehicles passing us." answered Jaime to John.
Yeshua then chuckled, turned around, then began walking backwards again. "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden." said Yeshua while looking at both Jaime and John with a smile on his face. "Why does that sound familiar to me?" asked Matthew as he slightly tilted his head. Yeshua then looked at Matthew, smiled at him, then turned around and walked facing forward.
John aggressively and quickly holds Jaime's right arm while still looking at Yeshua. "Did you hear him, Jaime?" asked John. "Yes, John. I'm not deaf." answered Jaime. "He called me the light of the world!" said John. "I'm pretty sure He meant all of us, John." said Simon as he matched Jaime and John's pace. "Teacher didn't even say your name, John." added Andrew. Oh, these three are causing ruckus again.
"Well, I'm 'pretty sure' that Teacher spoke to me directly, guys." said John proudly as he let go of his hold on Jaime's right arm. "Does it sound familiar to you, Maria? What Yeshua just said?" asked Matthew as he now looked at me. I looked at him then shook my head as a response. "Why do you ask?" I asked back. Matthew shook his head then said, "Oh, nothing. I just thought that maybe it came from a book that I've just read." answered Matthew. "Is the book called 'The Holy Bible', Matthew?" asked Yeshua while He was now walking at our pace.
Both Matthew and I were surprised by Yeshua's sudden appearance here at the back of the group. "I decided to join your pace 'cause those four were getting loud again." said Yeshua with a smile. I chuckled while looking at Him. "Yes, Teacher," said Matthew. "Yes, what?" asked Yeshua as He raised both His eyebrows. "Oh, uhm. The-the book that I-I just read. It-it is The Holy Bible." answered Matthew, getting nervous.
Yeshua smiled at Matthew softly and looked at him endearingly. "It is good to know that you read that book. I'm guessing you're on chapter 5 of the book of Matthew, your namesake." said Yeshua while still looking at Matthew endearingly. Matthew smiled and nodded as his response, "Yes, Teacher," said Matthew with a smile on his face. And the two of them began to converse continually and I just smiled while looking at them.
Well, there were times that they included me in their conversation and I gladly did so.
