After three years, Allah commanded the Prophet ﷺ to preach openly. He stood on Mount Safa and called the people of Makkah to worship only Allah and abandon idols. Instead of accepting the truth, many leaders of Quraysh mocked, insulted, and opposed him.
Muslims were tortured, boycotted, and beaten. Some were killed for their faith. Bilal ibn Rabah, a former slave, was dragged across burning sands but refused to deny Allah. Yet the believers remained patient, knowing that truth always rises.
