Ophelia watched from the shadows near the concrete pillars, her arms crossed over her chest, her eyes reflecting the scrolling lines of code.
Leo scrolled through the files, his fingers clicking against the keyboard. "The registry was updated forty-eight hours ago, and her patient file remains listed in the general directory, but her physical location has been redacted with a corporate override."
Nelson stepped closer to the screen, adjusting his glasses to read the small print. "Meridian Holdings authorized the transfer, and my father's corporate directory logs show the request came directly from the executive offices of Aether-Conglomerate."
