Chapter 83 - Chapter 83 Wizard Tom

"I can't wait any longer!"

After returning to his office from the laboratory, Li Chuan sat in his chair and clicked open the panel.

It had been over a month, a few days longer than his original plan, and according to the current trend, most cancer patients in the World had already purchased the Golden Pill, meaning the inflow of funds would gradually decrease and stabilize.

Therefore, to achieve a high completion rate, it would basically be impossible without several years, unless he could research a new type of cure for terminal illnesses in between.

But compared to the sheer number of cancer patients, the number of other terminally ill patients was certainly not as high.

Thus, he still decided to follow his previous plan, entering the new Small World with a medium completion rate to quickly improve his strength, rather than pursuing the best high completion rate.

"Enter fantastic beasts and where to find them!"

Flipping to the new Small World page, Li Chuan decisively chose to enter.

After a dizzying spell, when he opened his eyes again, he was in a dense forest, accompanied by countless memory fragments, like a slideshow.

Tom Foley, born into the Folly family, one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight families, was twenty-six years old this year, graduated from Hufflepuff House at Hogwarts, with average grades and ordinary aptitude, but with a good talent for Herbology.

As the last member of the Folly family, Tom Foley opened a herb shop in Diagon Alley, London, shortly after graduation, using the Galleons left by his family to sell various herbs.

On September 1st, due to the start of the Hogwarts school year, the annual back-to-school sales period in Diagon Alley ended, and Tom Foley temporarily closed his shop to go to the Albanian Forest to search for some rare magic herbs.

On September 15th, in the Albanian Forest, he encountered a large, three-headed Runespoor and was unfortunately bitten by it, losing his head.

"This forest seems to be where Voldemort practiced dark magic in the future and where his remnant soul hid after he died."

Looking around at the tall trees nearby, Li Chuan couldn't help but murmur.

The Albanian Forest is a primeval forest located at the border of Albania and Greece, home to a large number of fantastic beasts and various rare herbs.

Many Wizards like to travel here, gather herbs, and study fantastic beasts, even though they know it's very dangerous, and a few unlucky Wizards die here every year.

"It seems everything is still here."

He checked his body; the suit he wore before coming had turned into Wizard robes, and inside the Wizard robes, there was a twelve-inch wand and a cloth pouch.

Through the memories he had just seen, he knew that all the items on him now belonged to the unlucky Wizard Tom Foley, who had died.

Of course, now in the eyes of everyone else in this World, he was Tom Foley.

"Wingardium Leviosa!"

Pulling out Tom's wand from his Wizard robes, Li Chuan recalled all the scenes of the Levitation Charm from Tom's memories, and he pronounced the incantation with perfect form.

The green leaf he was pointing his wand at slowly floated up under the glow of magic, but it only lasted for two seconds before falling back to the ground.

"It seems that to fully master these magic spells from memory, I still need time to practice."

After experimenting, he knew that although he possessed Wizard Bloodline and had acquired all of Tom's memories, that didn't mean he could instantly master all of Tom's magic.

It's like watching someone cook a dish; it doesn't mean you can immediately make the same dish yourself.

Moreover, magic is much harder than cooking.

However, it's not without advantages; at least all the steps of the dish and the places where errors are likely to occur are clearly imprinted in your mind, so as long as you practice more, you can avoid many detours and master it quickly.

"Let's leave this forest and return to London first!"

Putting away his wand, Li Chuan imbued his feet with Chakra and quickly jumped along the tree trunks towards the edge of the forest.

Tom could Apparate and ride a flying broom, but he couldn't use those magic spells and magical tools now, so he had to leave using the Ninja's method of travel.

There are many dangerous fantastic beasts in this Albanian Forest, and staying here is not a wise choice.

"What a big snake!"

However, he hadn't moved far when a large, three-headed snake coiled on a tree trunk suddenly attacked him.

It was precisely the three-headed Runespoor that had killed Tom earlier.

Nimbly dodging the frantic bites of the Runespoor's three heads, Li Chuan forcefully pushed off with his legs and jumped onto the trunk of a large tree behind him, temporarily creating distance.

This giant Runespoor was seven or eight meters long, thicker than a human body; it would be bad if it coiled around him.

Seeing its prey about to escape, the Runespoor's three heads hissed, and after only a moment's pause, it lunged towards Li Chuan's direction.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

Fortunately, the experienced Li Chuan had already formed hand signs the moment he retreated, and after landing on the tree trunk, he immediately unleashed a Great Fireball towards the lunging Runespoor.

The huge fireball hit the Runespoor directly, slamming it down hard.

"As expected of a magical creature, its Fire resistance is quite high!"

Li Chuan looked at where the Runespoor had fallen, unable to help but exclaim.

Normally, a python of this size hit by his Great Fireball would probably turn into a charred, roasted snake upon landing, but this Runespoor clearly had considerable resistance to Fire, with not much burn damage.

Instead, it suffered some fall damage from being slammed down from a height of over ten meters.

But this degree of fall damage was clearly not enough to kill the Runespoor; instead, it made him even more furious.

The three snake heads simultaneously hissed in anger, climbing up the large tree again to attack Li Chuan above.

"It seems that for fantastic beasts with high magic resistance, physical attacks will cause more damage."

Li Chuan, seeing this, showed no fear; he pulled out a long spear from his mission space, extracted Chakra to enhance his physical strength, and directly charged down the tree trunk to meet the Runespoor.

"Storm of Pear Blossoms!"

Before the Runespoor could get close, the gleaming spearhead in Li Chuan's hand transformed into countless cold stars, striking at its eyes, mouth, and other vital points, such as its seven-inch mark.

Blood flew, and the Runespoor's massive snake body fell heavily to the ground once more.

Only this time, it was no longer lightly wounded but had seven or eight holes pierced through its body; it was as dead as could be.

"Tom Foley, consider this revenge for you."

Leaving a remark, Li Chuan was about to leave when he suddenly remembered from Tom's memories that Runespoors seemed to be quite valuable. So, he ran down the tree trunk and put the Runespoor's corpse into the small cloth pouch tied to his Wizard robes.
