I should walk away. Run, in fact, knowing who I was sharing the room with.
But I couldn't will myself to.
I stood there, enchanted by the man I had crushed on for half my life… the man I had fallen in love with.
My eyes betrayed me as they wandered over him.
Water dripped from his hair, sliding down the sharp lines of his face and over the hard planes of his chest before disappearing beneath the towel wrapped around his waist.
His silhouette was perfect.
I swallowed hard as my gaze traveled back up to his broad shoulders and lean build.
Gosh… I had missed him.
Missed the way he made me feel.
Missed the way he used to hold me. The way he used to touch me. The way he could make me forget everything else when we were together.
