Chapter 341 - Strange VS Galactus

Above the sky, countless fireballs fell, and the aura of destruction drew ever closer.

Dust rolled on the ground, and Strange had not emerged from it for a long time. Everyone's sinking hearts sank even further.

Just as everyone was growing more desperate, a figure in a black cloak flew out, which only plunged the increasingly desperate crowd into complete despair.

Strange was covered in dust, with a large patch of dark red blood on his chest, and even his simple flight was shaky.

"It really didn't work?"

"Damn it, if only Sorcerer Lucas wasn't here."

Strange landed beside Mordo and the others, his face pale. "Galactus's power is too great, I am no match for him at all. As a last resort, I summoned a dark creature. Perhaps it can contend with him."

Summon a dark creature?

Mordo's eyes flickered as he recalled his first encounter with Strange.

At that time, Strange crossed the Universe into Earth-404, and Kamar-Taj's magic array detected him, believing him to be a Dimensional Lord.

Since then, Strange had also used dark magic many times in battle.

Could it be that this Sorcerer Supreme Strange, who came from another Universe, worshipped a certain demon?

Mordo's thoughts aside for now, after Strange withdrew from the battle, another change occurred.

Galactus's figure suddenly froze, as if bound in place by something, followed by a golden spark appearing, and a portal formed beneath his feet.

"Go down!"

A hoarse voice sounded, and countless crimson chains suddenly appeared on Galactus's body.

Looking towards the source of the crimson chains, everyone then realized that a tall, burly figure, like a fierce ghost, had appeared on the ground in front of Galactus at some unknown time.

"Are you worried that our battle will destroy this place, and want to move the battlefield? How strange, a high-dimensional life form like you would care so much about these microscopic organisms."

Galactus saw through the tall figure's intention. He temporarily gave up resistance and allowed the portal to shoot upwards, teleporting him to another location.

"Galactus has been taken away? Where did they go?" Reed asked.

Mordo frowned slightly.

After carefully sensing the feedback from the magic array, he said, "Perhaps, they have already left Earth."

"That's great! We'll take this opportunity to destroy Galactus's mothership. That way, even if Galactus wins, he won't be able to obtain energy by devouring this Planet."

Hearing Reed's excited words, Strange's expression was strange. He didn't know what made Reed misunderstand that Galactus needed to rely on his mothership to devour a Planet.

However, it was indeed necessary to stop this warship.

Thinking this, Strange quickly formed hand seals, casting spells into several people, turning into illusory armor.

"You can go and try, this is a protective spell. It can protect you from harm until it breaks."

"What about you, Dr. Strange?" Reed asked.

Although Strange's performance in the battle against Galactus just now was not great, at least he forced Galactus to actively defend and counterattack.

This was already far superior to the Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom.

Strange replied calmly, "My energy is exhausted, I can't provide any more help."

Saying that, Strange sat down cross-legged, no longer paying attention to outside matters.

Strange's energy was not exhausted, he was merely concentrating on fighting Galactus.

The one Mordo and the others were with was just a clone that Strange had split off using the Images of Ikonn. The tall, ferocious monster was his true body after completely releasing the dark energy within him.

At this moment, Strange's true body was fiercely battling Galactus in a remote galaxy.

Away from Earth, Strange had no more reservations. He released the three dragons again, who flew out, their figure suddenly expanding to hundreds of feet in size.

With a roar, the three dragons opened their mouths simultaneously, and a massive inferno spewed out, engulfing Galactus.

"Another boring trick."

Galactus, in the midst of the flames, was not flustered at all. With a raised hand, a terrifying energy shockwave directly shattered the giant dragon.

Strange was not surprised, the three giant dragons were merely a tool he used to confuse Galactus.

He raised his hand and drew a circle, and another portal opened above Galactus's head, from which a massive number of zombies fell, piling up into a human mountain.

Among them, Steve, Hulk, Pietro, and a red figure were vaguely visible.

"Human wave tactics? But at this level of battle, human wave tactics shouldn't be useful, right?"

On the rooftop, Wanda said, looking at the scene in the magic mirror.

Lucas's expression changed slightly, and he glanced at Wanda. "The key is not these zombies, but the person who came with the zombies."

Wanda: "?"

Countless purple lights shot out from the gaps in the human mountain, and the next moment a huge explosion occurred, sweeping away the zombies pressing down on Galactus.

Almost all the zombies were either flung far away by the shockwave or destroyed on the spot. Only one red figure was an exception.

The crimson figure stood still, looking at Galactus with a ferocious gaze.

Galactus was very familiar with this hungry gaze, but it usually appeared on him. This was the first time he had been looked at like this by someone else.

The crimson figure raised her hand, and a terrifying crimson beam of light shot out, directly at Galactus's chest.

Galactus raised his hand, intending to block it, but suddenly found himself unable to move.

The next moment, terrifying Chaos Magic blasted Galactus's chest. The Chaos Magic collided with Galactus's cosmic divine power, causing a terrifying explosion in an instant.

For a moment, dust and smoke rose, obstructing vision, and only a faint crimson light could be seen flickering within. Gradually, the crimson light was replaced by dark purple light.

Boom!!!

Suddenly, a purple energy beam shot out from the smoke. Along with it, a crimson figure also shot out.

The crimson figure fell to the ground, pushed by the purple beam, plowing a gully across the Planet's surface before finally stopping.

The crimson figure stood up. Although her body was distorted, she seemed to feel no pain at all, and flew directly towards Galactus. But after only a moment, she suddenly stopped, then fell headfirst.

Pointing at the crimson figure, Wanda stammered, "Sh-she… she is…"

Lucas nodded. "That's right, she is the Wanda from that zombie world."

"Is she dead?" Wanda asked.

"Mm." Lucas nodded again. "But she will be alive again very soon."

Headache.

Galactus felt a headache at this moment.

Zombie Wanda was not his match, but he couldn't kill her either.

The birth of the zombie Universe originated from the absence of the Death authority.

How can a person without the concept of death be truly killed?

Unless one offends the authority of Death and grants the other party the concept of death.

If it were facing other people, it would be fine. Even if they couldn't be killed, they could be imprisoned, dismembered. There were many ways.

But for this apostle of Chaos Magic, torment and pain would only make her stronger.

Helpless, Galactus chose to flee.

If he couldn't win, couldn't he at least hide?

Galactus emulated Strange, opening a portal to the zombie world and throwing Zombie Wanda back.

"Sorcerer, please don't use these petty tricks anymore."

Galactus's tone was faint, and he vaguely threatened, "You are not the one in control."

"Oh, I'm very sorry." Strange walked out of a Mirror Dimension, feigning apology.

For Strange, the best outcome would be for Galactus and Zombie Wanda to fight to the death, expending a large amount of energy.

Galactus not doing so was acceptable to Strange. This was a cosmic being who had lived for an unknown number of years, not a hothead.

The battle between the two sides resumed.

Galactus no longer held back and took the initiative to attack. His body glowed brightly, and powerful cosmic energy rays shot towards Strange.

Facing the dense energy attacks, Strange put up a magical protective shield and withstood them. Ripples appeared on the shield, but it never broke.

This performance was a world apart from when he was struck down by Galactus in New York earlier.

Seeing that ranged attacks were ineffective, Galactus's figure flashed and he closed in, circling behind Strange, his massive fist heading straight for the back of Strange's head.

Strange had no time to turn around, nor did he need to. He raised his arm, and his arm twisted into a tentacle, coiling towards Galactus.

Ultimately, Galactus's fist was only 0.01 centimeters from the back of Strange's head, but this 0.01 centimeters was like an insurmountable chasm. Galactus could not cross it no matter what.

Turning around, Strange's other arm also transformed into a tentacle, coiling around Galactus. Moreover, a suction force emanated from the tentacles, constantly pulling at the energy within Galactus's body, seemingly wanting to draw out the immense cosmic power within Galactus.

Galactus's body glowed with purple light, and he took the opportunity to unleash an energy burst, breaking free from the tentacles.

It was at this moment, however, that a scene occurred that enraged Galactus.

Strange suddenly opened his mouth, like an abyss, swallowing the energy that Galactus had unleashed.

"You have angered me, sorcerer. Prepare to face death!"

"I imagine that when you devoured sentient Planets, the indigenous inhabitants there probably said similar things to you." Strange shrugged, his two tentacles swaying with the gesture.

This indifferent attitude only further enraged Galactus. He no longer cared about energy consumption. The energy within his body surged faster, his form suddenly expanded, and his energy level further increased.

Seeing this, Strange also chose to go all out, completely releasing the power within him from the Old One, Shuma-Gorath.

In an instant, countless tentacles surged out, wildly writhing.

Galactus's eyes narrowed. His enlarged body after the energy burst now became a weakness. It was impossible to avoid Strange's tentacles.

In an instant, the tentacles climbed onto Galactus's body, wrapping around him in layers and strangling him.

Crack... Crack...

A faint cracking sound emanated from beneath the tentacles, it was the sound of Galactus's armor shattering.

Galactus understood that he could not sit idly by, losing the initiative inevitably meant paying a price.

The next instant, a dazzling light flared, as Galactus intentionally detonated his armor. Amidst the light and thunderous roar, the exploding fragments of the armor transformed into blades, scattering outwards, cutting through the tentacles that tightly enveloped Galactus.

The tentacles were slightly pushed away by the shockwave and blades, and Galactus seized the opportunity to break free and escape.
