Chapter 76 - Chapter 76 Let’s share the happiness and endure the hardships together!

"Wait, Ron, what is that you're leading?"

Hearing his brother's question, Ron was a bit puzzled; wasn't it obvious?

Ron lifted the rope on his left.

"This is Fang, Hagrid's dog."

Percy's mouth twitched. He was very familiar with his brother's thought process, but still felt helpless.

"I meant the other one."

Percy frowned, looking at the mechanical creation standing beside Ron, an entirely white, dog-like structure.

Its tail wagged naturally, the tip emitting a faint glow of magic embers.

"Oh, you mean this. This is White Fang, also named by Hagrid."

"It's the Alchemy machine Lucien made. This is what I want to learn."

Ron said, pointing at the white mechanical dog.

Percy turned to look at Lucien, his gaze complex. For a moment, he didn't know how to speak.

He had been entrusted by his mother to keep an eye on Ron.

But before he could even start talking, his brother had brought an Alchemy mechanical dog right in front of him.

"Oh, right, Lucien, when we were out for a walk just now, White Fang's front right leg seemed a bit uncoordinated. Do you want to take a look?"

Lucien nodded, walked outside, and pulled out his wand to inspect White Fang.

The metal casing, gears, and bearings gradually detached and floated into the air.

Several thin strands of magic energy emerged from the tip of his wand, skillfully manipulating within the mechanical cavity.

Hearing the sound, Harry also came out of the house.

He greeted Ron's brother, Percy, and then joined Ron to watch Lucien repair the dog.

"Hmm, it's fine. No big problems. Just a slight adjustment of a few parts, and then add some lubricant and adhesive."

As he spoke, Lucien used Transfiguration to adjust the shape and details of a few small components.

Then he pulled out two small jars from his pocket, extracted some liquid from each, and controlled it to fly into the gaps between the parts.

Standing behind, Percy watched this scene silently, not saying a word.

But his heart was in turmoil.

Percy had just started his fifth year; he couldn't yet choose Alchemy as a course.

But Percy, always disciplined and strict with himself, had already prepared for various courses and had some basic understanding of Alchemy.

So when Percy saw Lucien's operation, he immediately became convinced that this junior, a first-year junior, actually knew Alchemy!

Alchemy is a very complex subject, encompassing a vast array of content.

This kind of mechanical creation belonged to one branch, and this mechanical dog wasn't even the most complex type.

Percy remembered reading in a book that the pinnacle of Alchemy mechanics was colossal giant golems.

It was said that ancient Alchemists had created giants the size of mountains, which were considered miracles.

But the methods Lucien displayed still struck Percy as incredible.

And those delicate magic threads were exactly what Percy was supposed to learn in his fifth-year Charms Class; he was still fumbling around cluelessly.

Percy suddenly realized a problem: Hogwarts seemed to have a formidable new student.

His brother Ron also seemed to have made a formidable friend.

"Ron, come here for a moment."

Percy beckoned, signaling for his brother to come over.

Ron put down the leash and walked over to his brother.

"What is it, Percy?"

Percy pulled two things from his embrace: a red envelope and a thin little notebook.

Hesitating for a moment, Percy first handed the small notebook to Ron.

"This is from Mum for you, about some spell-casting techniques."

Percy paused, then added:

"Mum's meaning is that you're still at the age for building foundations, so don't obsess over the number of spells. You can practice casting techniques more, and then learning other magic later will be faster."

In fact, Percy understood his mother's intention. The family's inherited magic books certainly wouldn't be lent out easily.

What Wizard families passed down was not just magic bloodlines; the magic knowledge accumulated and refined over generations was their true foundation.

Ron happily took the small notebook. He didn't think too much, just felt that he could now follow Lucien and learn the manufacturing of Alchemy machines.

Anyway, if Lucien thought this knowledge wasn't enough to learn mechanical animals like White Fang, learning some simple basic machines first would be fine.

But before Ron could finish celebrating, Percy handed him another item.

Looking at the red envelope in his hand, Ron's smile froze.

"This, this is a Howler, right? Mom, Mom sent it?"

The hand holding the envelope clearly trembled, as he asked his brother incredulously.

But when he looked up again, Ron saw that Percy had already retreated some distance, merely nodding firmly at him.

"I advise you to open it quickly. The later you open it, the louder the Howler's voice will be."

Hearing this, Lucien also stood up, leading Fang and the repaired White Fang, and retreated to Percy's side.

Although Harry didn't know what a Howler was, he cleverly followed Lucien.

A lonely Ron tremblingly opened the Howler.

A shrill woman's voice echoed:

"Little Ron, since you've decided, then study hard! Learn from your friends, learn from your brother!"

"Be a man and keep your promises!"

"I'll have Percy check your progress regularly!"

"Remember to add clothes in the morning and evening, eat well, but don't overeat. The Hogwarts infirmary..."

Listening to his mother's voice, Ron's face and ears quickly turned as red as his hair.

He glanced at Lucien and Harry, his expression extremely awkward.

It was good to be cared for by his mother, of course, but for a child his age, being cared for like this in front of his friends could be a bit embarrassing.

"Alright, my mission is complete."

Percy said goodbye to Lucien and the others and returned to Hogwarts Castle.

Ron had already shaken off his embarrassment and eagerly handed the notebook to Lucien.

"Lucien, take a look, is this kind of thing okay?"

Lucien took it and flipped through the small notebook.

Hmm, it's all about spell-casting techniques.

The handwriting in the notes varied, having passed through several owners; it must be the accumulated experience of generations of Weasley Wizards.

But it certainly couldn't be considered family inheritance.

It was normal, though; how could they bring out precious magic books on the first try?

Those were the lifeblood of every Wizard family.

Uh, Harry's case was purely an accident.

It was like a prodigal son selling ancestral land without a care, going straight for the heavy stuff.

Never mind, one must have a conscience.

The knowledge recorded in those magic books was enough to cover Harry's tuition for a year or two.

Lucien thought about Harry's recent learning progress. Hmm, his Potion talent was quite good; it was time to increase the intensity.

After flipping through a few more pages, Lucien still saw some techniques that made his eyes light up.

For example, in actual combat, continuously building momentum through successive spells, combined with certain spell combinations, to make the output smoother and more fluid.

These experiences and wisdom from predecessors were still very useful; at least they could save him some unnecessary trial and error.

"Yes, let's start with the basics."

"Theoretical mechanical construction, Transfiguration needed..."

"Once you've learned some knowledge, you can show your results to your brother..."

Ron was instantly overjoyed, nodding frequently as he listened to Lucien's introduction.

So he didn't even notice Harry looking at him with "sympathetic" eyes.

Lucien's teaching was effective, but the strictness, tsk tsk tsk...

Harry recalled his previous experiences.

That's right, good brothers should share blessings and endure hardships together!
