Chapter 84 - Chapter 84 One step at a time, one meal at a time; let's proceed in order.

If Ron could master Transfiguration quickly, he could try making Alchemy Mechanical even faster.

Once Ron showed substantial learning achievements to his brothers and family, he would gain recognition and approval.

With enough trust, he might be able to borrow some more valuable books from the Weasley Family family and learn more magic knowledge.

One step at a time, one meal at a time; let's proceed in order.

After teaching for a while longer, seeing that it was almost time, Lucien told Harry and Ron to go back and rest.

Once Lucien was the only one left in the Room of Requirement.

He pulled out a small booklet with a cover adorned with scales, feathers, spines, and other objects.

The chimera handbook.

He turned to a page with biological information and anatomical diagrams.

Lucien read for a few minutes.

He pulled out his wand and pointed it at the podium.

The characteristics and structure of the creature quickly flashed through his mind.

Pop—

The brown podium instantly twisted.

"Baa~~"

A soft bleating sound came.

The original podium disappeared, replaced by a fluffy white sheep.

As it moved, its soft fur trembled.

Hmm, turning inanimate objects into living creatures is indeed not difficult.

The key is still to understand the biological information of the creature to be Transfigured.

It must be said that this chimera handbook was truly a great help.

The information recorded in it was incredibly detailed, to an exasperating degree.

To be honest, to achieve their goals, Wizards, powerful Wizards, possessed incredibly strong initiative.

They could easily obtain desired experimental subjects.

Regardless of whether the target was inanimate or living.

Especially in ancient times, in an era dominated by cold weapons like swords, Muggles simply couldn't resist Wizard magic.

Some regions and dynasties were even established and led by a single Wizard or a group of Wizards.

No wonder in the old days when Wizards didn't need to conceal themselves, Muggles would fear Wizards, resisting magic yet also worshipping it.

Lucien read through the records in the chimera handbook, memorizing and thinking at the same time.

The contents were all research results of an ancient Wizard, but they also recorded some Charms, Potions, and Alchemy methods used for observation and dissection.

The precision of the effects produced by those methods was completely comparable to modern Muggle technology.

This was what Wizards were, this was the convenience of magic; without having to follow the laws of technological progress, they could develop methods beyond imagination in leaps and bounds.

Lucien finished reading a note and tapped his wand again.

The sheep's form was twisted again, turning into a large, white pig.

This was Transfiguration stacking.

Transfiguring the same item multiple times.

With each additional layer of Transfiguration, the difficulty increased exponentially.

However, Lucien performed the Transfiguration stacking with great ease, showing no signs of effort.

He let the pig grunt and wander around the classroom while he flipped through the information of the next species.

With a flick of his wand, the white pig transformed again, becoming a mooing water buffalo.

Lucien would read the handbook for a while, then cast Transfiguration once.

Until five Transfigurations were stacked, the final result was a giant python, quietly coiled in the corner.

Hmm, a major difficulty in creating a Chimera should be Transfiguration stacking.

The loan required him to Transfigure a 'Chimera' that contained at least five biological characteristics, meaning it needed to undergo at least five Transfigurations.

Perhaps, directly Transfiguring a living creature could reduce one Transfiguration stacking?

Anyway, as long as five biological characteristics were present, the characteristics of the initial creature just needed to be retained.

Lucien rotated his wand, coordinating the surge of magic according to the method in the handbook.

Almost instantly, the giant python's physique underwent a massive change.

Horns sprouted from its head, its nose became a pig's snout, wool grew between its scales, and a pair of bat wings emerged from its back.

Looking at the twisted, mixed monster on the ground, Lucien frowned.

It indeed combined the characteristics of several creatures, but... it was superficial.

Not enough, he could attempt more changes, alter more details.

From bones to muscles, then to the skin, scales, fur, and limb structure on the body surface... Lucien read through the records in the chimera handbook, always feeling that there was still knowledge yet to be fully uncovered.

The limit of a Chimera shouldn't be this simple.

Still not enough...
