"Hey, Lucien, is that a letter from your family?"
It was Harry who asked, looking up at Lucien with curiosity.
Most of the other students had received letters from home, but Harry hadn't received a single one.
The few times he did were when Hagrid would send an owl to invite him to his hut.
Lucien shook his head.
"No, this is from Newt Scamander."
Silence—
Lucien's area instantly fell silent.
Only the sound of bats flapping their wings and candles burning could be heard.
"Uh, Lucien, you're quite humorous, aren't you?"
Ron was the first to break the silence. He put down the Alchemy Mechanical frog and chuckled,
"Newt Scamander isn't that world-renowned fantastic beasts expert, is he? You must mean someone with the same name, Lucien."
Hermione habitually began to explain:
"Newt Scamander, author of fantastic beasts and where to find them, awarded the Order of Merlin, Second Class, in 1979…"
Ron couldn't help but curl his lip. He still couldn't stand Hermione's "know-it-all" nature.
Actually, even if Hermione hadn't said anything, everyone was already familiar with Newt.
His fantastic beasts and where to find them was an introductory book for many young Wizards, through which they learned about many wonderful magic creatures.
It was practically the magic version of Animal Planet.
Newt had many book fans and was extremely popular among young Wizards.
Lucien didn't mind them laughing it off.
Sometimes, you tell the truth, you're direct, but people just don't believe you.
Ron, not wanting to listen to Hermione's nagging, let out a chuckle,
"Lucien, if you can write to Newt, could you get me an autographed copy of fantastic beasts and where to find them? Hmm, if I get ninety on my next monthly exam…"
However, before Ron could finish, Harry next to him elbowed him.
Actually, the matter of tutoring hadn't been told to anyone yet.
For example, Hermione still didn't know about it.
The few of them were chatting.
Malfoy, with his two cronies Crabbe and Goyle, walked past them.
Seeing Harry, Malfoy merely snorted coldly.
But when he looked at Lucien's back, Malfoy's eyes suddenly turned extremely cold.
After Lucien rejected his friendly overture last time, Malfoy felt increasingly uncomfortable the more he thought about it, a suppressed anger festering inside him.
He was just from a Muggle family, yet he dared to reject his friendliness!
What also infuriated Malfoy was that he hadn't found an opportunity during this time, otherwise, he would definitely make Lucien pay!
Malfoy stormed off towards the adjacent long table.
Noticing Malfoy passing by, Harry frowned and mumbled quietly:
"Tch, what kind of look was that? So annoying."
"Malfoy is even more annoying than Dudley!"
Hearing Harry's whisper, Ron asked in confusion:
"Malfoy looking down his nose at people is certainly annoying, but who is Dudley? Is there such a person in our school?"
Harry shook his head,
"No, Dudley is my aunt's son. Heh, he's a bully, and his conscience is much smaller than his stomach…"
However, before Harry could finish, he saw two almost identical boys sneak up behind Ron.
"Ronnie, my dear, what are you playing with?"
"Why are you playing with a little toad? Are you planning to replace Scabbers with a toad?"
Startled by this sudden "affectionate" greeting, Ron choked on his soup, his face turning bright red.
Once he finally caught his breath.
Ron turned to look at the two "uninvited guests,"
"Fred! George! Don't call me that!"
After speaking, Ron quickly turned to look at Lucien and the others.
Harry had already buried his head in his arms, and Hermione had also turned her head away.
Although he couldn't see their expressions, Ron could see their bodies shaking!
Shaking with laughter!
As for Lucien, his expression was serious, but the corners of his mouth were on the verge of twitching.
Ronnie, my dear, tsk tsk, the Weasley Twins, for Ron, their youngest brother, well, they were very "doting."
His friends' reactions made Ron's face turn even redder.
He looked at his twin brothers again, his eyes full of grief and indignation,
"What exactly are you here for?"
The Weasley Twins exchanged glances, then said in unison:
"Percy sent us to check on your studies."
"After all, he's the Head Boy, and quite busy usually~"
It was either Fred or George who picked up the Alchemy Mechanical frog from the table and grinned,
"Not bad, it at least looks like something. The little frog is quite cute."
The other one looked at Lucien, blinking,
"Lucien, did Ron really make this little frog? How did you teach that kid Ron? Can you teach me?"
Hearing this, Hermione couldn't help but look at Lucien.
Does this mean Lucien taught him?
That Ron could make this, well, frog, was all taught by Lucien?
Then, was Ron's Transfiguration also…?
Hermione looked at Harry again. She suddenly realized that Harry was always with Ron, appearing randomly behind Lucien.
Could it be that Harry's Potion also…?
Lucien was thinking about how to answer, well, first learn Mechanical theory, engineering drawing, homework, exams, and then Transfiguration…
However, Ron had already snatched the little Alchemy Mechanical from his brother's hand, muttering:
"This isn't a toad, it's a frog!"
Saying that, Ron seemed to intend to prove himself, pulling out his wand and pointing it at the little frog.
"Watch closely!"
After a few seconds, the little frog didn't move.
This made Ron quite embarrassed. He looked at Lucien for help.
Lucien didn't hesitate much and said lightly:
"Just pat it."
Ron heard this and slapped his palm onto the little frog's back.
"Croak!"
The Alchemy Mechanical frog let out a croak, which surprised even the Weasley Twins.
They had only come to see the commotion after hearing Percy's casual talk, and who would have thought that Ron had actually made an Alchemy Mechanical animal.
Although it only croaked simply.
The Weasley Twins looked at Ron in amazement, never expecting that this brother, who usually seemed the most ordinary at home, had actually learned Alchemy Mechanical.
They then simultaneously looked at Lucien, suddenly developing a strong interest in him, finding this junior even more interesting, that he could actually teach Ron.
"Croak~"
Another frog croak sounded, but this time it was quieter.
It wasn't that it was quieter, but rather that it had hopped away, and the sound only seemed small when it carried over.
Lucien looked in the direction of the sound. The Alchemy Mechanical frog had already hopped onto the adjacent long table.
"Plop—"
With a splash, the golden-yellow little frog was already bathing in a bowl of cream of mushroom soup.
"Croak."
The little frog gave another mighty leap, landing on a perfectly combed, light blonde pompadour, and squatted there.
Mushroom and cream soup flowed down its body onto that luxurious hair.
Ron had already stood up and quickly ran to the person's side.
He was stifling a laugh while saying with a hint of apology:
"Ha, um, no, I'm sorry, Malfoy."
Saying that, Ron reached out to try and take the Alchemy Mechanical frog off.
But Malfoy had also snapped back to reality, standing up with a jolt and grabbing the thing on his head.
"Weasley!"
