Lana's pov
The trees blurred together as I speed pass with the wind whipping through my hair.I felt alive and free;free from my dad's constant lecture's,free from my admirers scrutinizing gazes,and free from my mother's pleas for i not to tread the path i wanted.Soon I'd have to return to the pack and face the the consequences of my decision but i didn't care at all i wanted was some time alone.
I arrived at the lakeside.it was peaceful as usual i played with the with the water for some time and sang softly.After a while i decided to leave but i saw someone in the shadows. "Who's there",i called out but no one replied. I ran back as fast as i could but the "shadow" was trailing me.I stopped abruptly only to see a boy behind me with a puzzled expression.He looked a little older than me maybe 28,he had golden blonde hair,blue eyes and a little bit taller than me. "Who are you and what do you want ",I asked,furiously.
He didn't reply he just kept staring at me,I was confused.I knew he looked familiar but I couldn't remember where I had seen him before
"Lana"he called out.
My heart skipped a beat, how did this stranger know my name?
I thought about the rumor flying around town; a vampire had escaped from the solitary and he killed anyone he came in contact with.
"Could he be the one ?,I thought in confusion ".
He started coming closer but before he could approach me I quickly shifted into a werewolf and ran but this time with extreme speed,I only stopped when I arrived at the mansion but the problem was I just came face to face with dad,before I could think of an explanation;
'Go get some sleep tomorrow's your big day",he said ."who knows you could find a decent guy who could turn out to be your mate". Perfect timing!I knew it was only a Matter of time before he ran out of patience.
"Ok alpha " I responded. I usually called him that whenever we were had visitors from the pack.

She was someone who knew whenever I was lying so I didn't what to see her in this state
