Mu Qing did not wait for Jin Yue to sit before kneeling in front of him.
"You're reopening it," Mu Qing said softly, already untying the damp cloth at Jin Yue's shoulder. His fingers were gentle but efficient, wood-pulse energy blooming faintly around them in threads of pale green light.
The group had been ushered through another stone corridor after the mirror rupture. The Pavilion had not acknowledged the interference again. No announcement. No apology. Just an open passage leading deeper.
They now stood in a wide circular chamber carved from dark stone ... the air heavier here, almost humming faintly.
But before they moved further, Mu Qing insisted on tending to Jin Yue.
"It's not that deep," Jin Yue repeated.
Mu Qing frowned faintly. "It was minor before. It isn't now."
