Irel closed the script, sighing heavily
When he looked up, the room was silent
Everyone sat there, tissues pressed to their faces, eyes red from crying
Yuri sniffed dramatically
"You didn't just kill us with one tragic love… you gave us two."
Aerith wiped his eyes, shaking his head
"We couldn't even be happy for the princes… because of the other two tragic loves."
Yuri and Aerith pointed at Irel simultaneously
"You're a demon."
Irel dramatically looked away, hand over his chest
"I'm innocent."
Lytheil, calm and playful, said with a perfectly straight face,
"The court finds you guilty."
Izan and Aerel burst into laughter
Aerith shook his head, amused
"At least put some emotion on your face when you say that. It's a good joke, you know."
Ash and Aeris chuckled softly
Lytheil quickly turned away, hiding his smile
Irel leaned back, eyes gleaming mischievously
"My, my… not yet. I'm not guilty. At least, not now." He paused deliberately
"We still have an upcoming love story… in the present timeline."
His gaze shifted slowly to Aerel and Aerith
He pointed at them
"Their story."
Everyone swallowed. Curiosity flickered in their eyes.
Irel continued,
"The famous writer is Aerel, who is mute His identity and everything is hidden. He writes stories with deep emotions that become masterpieces recognized and loved by many. He has explored every genre, but his most remarkable works are in BL."
"The famous actor is Aerith, known for his beauty and unmatched talent. He acts in almost every genre, pouring his heart and soul into each role."
Aerith sighed to his personal assistant,
"Man, life as an actor is so tiring. I need some rest."
His assistant replied softly,
"Don't push yourself too much. Take a break."
Aerith shook his head, eyes drifting toward a book on the book shelf
His gaze landed on a book titled Yours
As Irel read the line from the script, Ash's eyes widened
A memory flickered in his mind—a book titled Agape, authored by Aziel
Aerith whispered softly,
"What do you think a writer would do if they fell in love? How would they express it?"
The personal assistant blinked, amusement seen all over his face...adjusting his glasses he replied
"I think they would write books about their love… a writer always express their emotions, whether it's love or suffering, through their words."
Ash's eyes lowered
Aerith's eyes softened, then suddenly clouded with a painful ache
Aerith smiled, though pain lingered in his expression
Aerith's personal assistant: "Why do you ask?"
He folded his hands together, concern in his eyes.
"Are you… in love?"
Aerith's eyes widened
He looked at his personal assistant teasingly:
"How many times do I have to tell you to take off these fake glasses?
They don't make you look like a genius
Honestly, they make you look completely stupid."
Aerith's personal assistant: "You little… want to start a fight?"
The next second, clinging to the wall behind him, he muttered:
"Damn… do I look stupid?"
Aerith laughed, shaking his head
"Come on… even if it's true, don't get shattered."
The assistant fell to his knees dramatically, hands trembling
Aerith chuckled at the display
The assistant smiled in return
Assistant POV: I don't fully understand what he's going through, but I want him to overcome it and keep laughing like this. He's like a little brother to me
Assistant: "I'm leaving. If you need anything, call me."
Aerith: "Okay."
The assistant left
Aerith turned to the book, eyes lingering on the name he whispered softly:
"Aerel."
He scanned the bookshelf—it was filled with Aerel's works
Aerith covering his face with his both hands
Aerith: "Man… I'm crazy over him."
He opened the book yours and read. Every word echoed within him
"I wish I could call your name even if it's only once.
I wish I could confess to you how much I love you.
I wish I could hold you and never ever leave.
I wish to see you close, rather than always far away.
And I know some of these things will never happen.
But if there's even one chance to see you up close,
I would confess my love to you."
Aerith closed the book, breath caught in his chest
Aerith: "What is this feeling?
What is this ache in my heart?
It's heavy… painful…"
The words always seemed meant for someone in every book
They echoed a longing that anyone could feel that deep in their soul
But who was it for?
Who did Aerel love?
Just the thought of it made Aerith suffocate
"Aerel… I only know his name because it's written in the book."
Aerith loved reading books, and across social media, people raved about this mysterious writer and his works
Curiosity drove him to read the writer's book. The writer's every book touched him deeply, resonating in his soul
It was like reading confessions—slowly, he realized he was falling for the writer with every word
No interviews. No photos. No public appearances.
Aerith pov
To be loved and admired like that… it was intoxicating.
He clutched the book to his chest, then opened the publisher's private contact page
Hesitating, he typed:
"To the author,
I don't know who you are, but your words feel like they were written for me.
— A reader"
He didn't used his real name and expected no reply
Three days later, a response came:
"To the reader,
Words are written for anyone who feels them. If they feel personal, perhaps we share the same loneliness.
— A"
Aerith stared at the signature—just "A." A small smile spread across his face
Their messages continued. At first, they discussed the books
Then, they spoke about silence
Aerith never revealed that he was an actor or even his name, nor did Aerel disclose his identity
Still, they grew closer with each message
Aerith: "You start writing… is it because of someone or Because you're a writer You're writing for someone ???
Aerel: "Both."
A pang hit Aerith's heart. His eyes blurred.
So he definitely loves someone…
Aerel: wanna know????
Aerith typed quickly
"Yeah, if you don't mind."
Aerel: "You may think I'm crazy, but I love the actor Aerith."
Aerith's world stopped he forgot to breathe
Eyes lingering on the screen he stood there stunned
After some moments after processing
He closed his mouth
screamed, and jumped on the bed, breath coming in ragged bursts.
He read it over and over, a hundred times, just to be sure.
Aerith: "Is this a dream?"
He wrote back
Aerith: there's nothing crazy about it ...If it's love, your book shows just how much you love him."
Aerel : I'm mute...do you think anyone will love me despite that?
Aerith in his inner mind
"But I'm freaking in love with you. I don't care if you're mute or anything else. I just love you—damnit."
I will just dammit learn sign language....
Aerith: "You can't assume the worst. Maybe he's the kind of person who doesn't care about such things."
Aerel: "I know he's kind. At first, it was admiration, but slowly I saw his pain, the emptiness in his soul… I also heard he's a reader. I wanted to heal him in some way, so I started writing for him. Every book I wrote was meant for him .....
Aerith's heart pounded
Is this… a love confession?
Damn… he's such a yearner. I know he's an yearner I didn't realized he was this much of a yearner
Aerith: "You really are a yearner… and more than I expected."
Aerel: "Oh my… really? Is that a compliment?"
Aerith: "Yeah."
They continued messaging, waiting for each other.
Aerith fell again again and again in love with each word Aerel wrote
Aerel wrote a beautiful book just for him once more
Aerith giggled as he read it, knowing it was meant for him
Aerith: "Can we meet?"
Aerel: "Yeah. Which place?"
Aerith: "At the ##### Palace, 6 PM."
Aerel POV: I'm hoping to meet this person. I don't know much about him, but he feels close now. He never judged me for loving Aerith too…
Aerith: I'm going to propose him today
His heart beated first
Aerith blushed while saying
Calm down...
At the palace, Aerith waited
Hours passed. Midnight came. He hadn't moved an inch
No reply. He stared at the ring and flowers, chest aching with emptiness
Aerith POV: Why didn't he come?
.......
Aerel POV: Today, I am going to meet him…
Rushing across the road, he didn't see the car coming.
The crash was sudden. Aerel lay barely alive, the last sight he saw was Aerith's laughing face on the big screen infront of him
Aerel whispered as his eyes blurred aerith's face
Till the very end, I couldn't confess my love…
He took his last breath
........
Aerith's eyes blurred, tears spilling down
Aerith: "Why didn't he come?"
Rain drops fell on Aerith's face as he looked up to the sky
The rain heavily poured
He he waited in the heavily rain not moving an inch
He waited, but Aerel never arrived
Days passed. No word. His books stopped coming.
It was as if Aerel had never existed
Aerith continued his life trying to act normal, but inside, he lived in suffering…
_He lived in emptiness_.....
Till the very end
Aerith never knew Aerel's true identity.....
He didn't know Aerel had tried to meet him that day, only to die in an accident
Aerel never knew the person he messaged was Aerith
He never knew he had confessed his love to aerith
He never knew how much Aerith loved him...
And he will never know...
How much he is suffering and living in emptiness now .....
And so, their story ended, with neither of them knowing anything.... about each other
