Chapter 1 - Prologue

Imagination is a powerful thing, one can make worlds and stories with nothing but their minds.

But those stories need something... they need people to live in them.

Characters are given life by artists, whether they have been imagined, drawn or written.

Some spend minutes, days or even years designing a character.

Some are loved, some are discarded.

The fates of the characters are in the hands of their creator.

Not all creators are kind to their creatures.

Some may create them for their personal pleasure, creating stories about how a single individual becomes loved by multiple women.

Or to vent out their anger, making their character or characters nothing but a vessel that holds suffering.

Artists reuse and improve their creations over time.

Authors will reuse their creations for different stories.

However, those creations that have been forgotten or scrapped will never see how their fate continues.

Such as those of background characters, they only serve one purpose before getting thrown away.

"PillarsOfChicken" is an author who has tried writing multiple novels in the past but none of them had met any success.

Until they wrote [Undesired Imported Hero], a novel about a young woman that was summoned to another world, replacing the one who was supposed to be a hero.

The novel was met with praise but the quality of the chapters slowly dwindled.

However not wanting to drop another novel, the author continued on despite the hate that they had received.

After all, stories must end at some point.
