"You two stay down here and guard the stuff, do not dare climb up." Wyatt instructed, looking squarely at Simon.
"I know, I know, just worry about yourself."
Asher Ryder and Wyatt began their ascent.
With noticeably more experience this time, Asher Ryder climbed first, his hands gripping tightly onto each rocky outcrop, his feet pushing off rhythmically. He edged along the cliff face, feeling around for every small crevice. Wyatt trailed behind, equally agile.
Ewan and Simon stayed below, craning their necks to watch. Ewan's heart still skipped a beat every time he saw Asher Ryder reach out for a new ledge. But at least he was not as tense as the last time; after all, they had done this once before.
About an hour later, the two Alphas began to rappel down. The pouch at Asher Ryder's waist was bulging, as was Wyatt's. Both were drenched in sweat but wore beaming expressions.
