Unfortunately, the shop owner was… Lazy, sharp-tongued, and deeply uninterested in customer satisfaction.

“No rush orders.”

“Stop messaging me at 3 a.m.”
“And stop flirting in the reviews.”

Still, her sculptures sold out within seconds.

Before I could object, he finally scooped me up.


I allowed it this time though, because my priorities existed first.


As soon as he lifted me, I climbed onto his shoulder like a small albino general overseeing a battlefield.


From that position, I turned my head and locked eyes with Agatha then I quietly opened the delivery tab on my OmniSync.


I tilted the screen so only she could see it then I quickly wrote another message on the hologram and tilted it toward her.


Agatha nodded once with the calm expression of someone who had definitely helped conceal questionable purchases before.


Perfect. Mission saved. Or so I thought.
