Adam hesitated. "Boss… this path is already chosen," Ezekiel cut in, his voice low. "Anyone standing in the way will move. Willingly or not."
Silence filled the office.
Adam straightened. "I'll make the arrangements."
As he turned to leave, Ezekiel spoke again without looking at him. "Keep this quiet. Especially from her."
Adam paused at the door, then nodded. "Yes, boss."
The door closed softly.
Ezekiel remained seated, eyes drifting back to the photograph. His grip tightened again, anger flashing briefly before disappearing behind his usual icy mask.

Seeing that Linda was about to wear white, Megan gasped and quickly grabbed a green straight gown. "No no no no, you aren't going to wear that, miss!"
Linda rolled her eyes and collected the green. "I don't even feel like wearing a white dress anyway."
"I lived with you to take care of you, how can you live in this house alone?" Megan frowned.
"The maids are there."
