The sound of swords clashing rang. Two figures moved in perfect formation, slashing their swords.
"What happened, Sebas? Don't tell me you are already getting tired?" asked the person in a long black coat.
He took a step forward and slashed his sword in a vertical arc. The other person wearing a butler suit took a step back and raised his sword to guard.
"You surely jest, my lord. After being granted a portion of your powers, I have rarely felt tired!" The butler replied with a laugh and raised his sword overhead.
Nior looked at his raised sword and couldn't help but chuckle.
'Now it comes!'
It was typically an unavoidable attack by the greatest swordmaster, but for Nior, dodging something like that was too easy.
Sebas' sword started glowing blue, and he brought it downward, sending a flying slash toward his new master.
Nior decided to take it head-on. He took his stance, lowering his body and holding his sword diagonally to his chest. He infused his own magic power, making the sword glow bright red and sent a red flying slash forward.
Boom!
Red and Blue slash met midair and caused a small explosion.
"You have perfectly mastered my techniques, my lord. I have nothing more to teach you," Sebas sheathed his sword and said with a bow.
"I see. Good work. Make preparation, we are going on a trip."
Nior put his sword aside and teleported out of the training ground.
"What a genius master I have found. May all your wishes come true, my lord," Sebas whispered slowly. His eyes flashed red, and he also disappeared from the grounds.

'It has been a hundred years already. Time surely flies by when you focus on goals,' I thought while walking towards my room.
It has been a hundred years since I came to this universe. No, I haven't reincarnated by some mysterious entity. Actually, I was sent here by my original universe as a vanguard to spread our influence to other universes.
Now, usually, someone of my identity as 'The Strongest Protector of the Universe' should not be outside his universe; and that should be the case. But we found a strange universe.
This universe has connected passages to several others, and what's more interesting is that these universes exist as games and stories in this peculiar universe.
Therefore, as one of the beings closest to my original universe, I was sent by it to investigate this phenomenon, and especially, a planet named Earth.
I have made several discoveries, but they are not crucial at present.
When I first came to Earth, I had to create a new body and seal most of the knowledge from my universe, which was essentially useless here and
could not be processed by the brains of beings from lower universes.
I wanted to create a body for myself that is versatile in nature and can handle any situation. For this, I chose a vampire's body, which is always evolving and constantly adapting, and gains traits from others that are beneficial.
Something like this is easy for an Universe to create. I also added some practical abilities, such as Telekinesis and Bio-kinesis, etc.
With these powers, along with an ever-adapting body, I was ready for any difficulties thrown my way.
I spent twenty years on Earth, practising and mastering my powers as well as gathering information about different story worlds. I watched anime, movies and played games continuously. Money wasn't a problem for a Vampire with Charm.
I also noticed that eating makes me stronger. In fact, whatever I do, my body will always grow stronger. I took my time to master Blood Manipulation. I could control blood within as well as outside the body. Create blood with magic, and also absorb the essence of a being without drinking their blood. I can read, rewrite, and delete memories with blood, and also control the creatures whose blood essence I have seen.
Once when I was practising magic, I sensed a disturbance in space that was near one of those passages. When I approached to take a closer look, I got suck into that passage and found myself floating in outer space.
After some exploration, I came across a man wearing golden armour. with a patch on one of his eyes, and radiating a massive amount of energy. He had white hair and a beard with blue eyes.
I needed no guessing. It was Odin!
I got transported to MARVEL!
Like me, he might have also sensed the anomaly in space and come to check.
He was looking at me with great interest. He can surely sense the age of my body. He must have thought, 'Such a young age, but still rivalling me at my peak in strength.'
He offered me to join Asgard, which I promptly accepted. I was in an unknown place. Asgard was a major superpower, and with them, I could gain information about the timeline of the events.
As payment, he shared half of his divinity with me, which was definitely suspicious, but I still accepted it. Godhood brings several benefits, and I cannot ignore it.
Well, he tricked me!
Asgardian divinities need Asgard to function. So, as a newly crowned Asgardian God, I had to do everything in my power to ensure its survival.
Odin knew he was getting old, and Thor needed time to learn, so when he encountered someone of equal strength to him, he secured their alliance.
As for losing half his Godhood? He was already getting old; in a few centuries, he can't even stay awake. What would he do with Godhood then?
Well, he wasn't entirely wrong. If not for my adaptation, I would have been tied to Asgard forever. Now, I am not only adopted by Odin as the Third Prince of Asgard, but also secured support to fund my operations.
During these hundred years, I mastered enchantments, practised swordmanship with Heimdall, and also created a Vampire-only magic system.
Zeus also came looking for a fight when he heard the news that Odin had gotten weaker. I kicked his ass and stole his divinity. You should have seen his face. Well, he would survive. Even without divine powers, he got a shit ton of magic.
During this time, I also created my most amazing creation. That is vampire subordinates. Apparently, biting other people and sharing my blood does not work.
I need to find strong souls, create new bodies with my blood to make new and better lifeforms. These vampires already have a basic vampire bundle including telekinesis, charm and shapeshifting. Along with that, my blood gives a boost to their special talents, and with the help of magic, they awaken their unique powers.
Sebas has the innate power to control and create magical swords. I also create four other vampires who serve as my maids.
"Your bath is ready, my lord"
While I was thinking of what I did these past hundred years, Marie, one of my maids, brought me out of my thoughts.
She is a beautiful woman with an S-shaped figure, blond hair and red, sharp eyes.
"Yes, Marie. Complete the preparations. We will depart soon."
"As you wish, my lord," She bowed and left.
Inside the bathroom after the bath, I stand in front of the mirror.
An absolutely handsome, divine face with blond hair, deep blue ocean-like eyes and a physique that puts even Greeks Gods to shame.
"Acquiring Godhood really made me handsome," I say for the millionth time.
