For the remaining four days of their one week long internship training, Sukuna, Izuku, Tokoyami, Todoroki had remained in Hosu, assisting with the cleanup and rebuilding of the city, under the supervision of their respective agencies of course.
Sukuna, was carrying a handful of planks towards a construction site. After he delivered them, he felt his phone vibrate on his pocket. He narrowed his eyes at the person calling.
"I have to take this." He said to the supervisor before he quickly entered a dark alleyway.
"What do you want?" He got straight to business with the caller.
"My brother! How are you feeling?" He heard Todo's energetic voice shout from the phone.
"Fine. But what's this about? You never call unless it was about something important."
"Well, in my profession as a vigilante, you know that I never stay in one place for too long. I roam the nation, helping the weak whenever and wherever I can, no matter the cost."
"Mm..." Sukuna grunted, walking deeper into the alleyway.
"Well there was this cult I've found somewhere in Hokkaido. They've been around for over a century, a couple of decades right after Quirks started originating. Now get this, these people believe society was 'better' before heroes monopolized power. And you know what's better, they worship this guy called the 'King of Quirks'."
"I'm going to end the call now." Sukuna grumbled, obviously disinterested.
"Wait brother! Let me cook!" Todo shouted desperately. Sukuna sighed. Todo took it as a signal to go on.
"So after I infiltrated the cult—"
"How? Just how?" Sukuna interrupted. Todo seemed to be able to find a way to surprise him more and more every time they interact.
" Hehe! You might not know brother, but I have amazing acting skills that could put Leonardo DiCaprio to shame! And all thanks to K-drama! Muehehe!!!"
"I... Just continue..." Sukuna palmed his face, as he arrived in front of a set of stairs leading up to the roof of a four storey building.
"Anyways, after I infiltrated the cult, I found out that this King Of Quirks bozo is actually a real person, and his Quirk is to take and give Quirks to other people." Sukuna paused in his walking, his facial expression tense.
"You expect me to believe that there was a Quirk as overpowered as that over a hundred years ago?" Sukuna questioned.
"Hey, believe it or not there was. You probably think Quirks are only getting powerful now like what that Quirk Singularity theory said, but they had some heavy hitters back then as well, one of them being this Quirk."
"Go on..."
"So apparently, apparently this guy was like a supervillain back in the day. Even though he positioned himself as a benefactor, giving power to the powerless and stuff, but in reality he's actually a huge piece of shit." Todo continued.
"Classic." Sukuna mumbled in amusement.
"So when you position yourself that way, it's natural that you have some worshippers.
The leader of this cult, some old fart, he claims that he's met the 'One Who Gives' before in his 40s when he was just a member of the cult, and that he received a Quirk from him."
"He might be lying to your face." Sukuna argued, doubtful of this story.
"No brother, I can tell when people lie, and this guy isn't lying. Even though he's so old, he still remembers the moment as clear as day. It's almost terrifying the way he explains it so vividly."
"And what has this King Of Quirks got do to with our modern times?"
"He's still active." Sukuna, having taken the stairs to the rooftop, stopped in his tracks as soon as he reached the top.
"What?"
"Yeah, he's still alive and kicking, even though he's probably reaching 200 years old by now."
"Hold up, you said this person is some sort of supervillain. But if he was, wouldn't he be ruling over Japan by now, or at least fighting for control? And why have I not heard of this cult until now? It doesn't add up." Sukuna questioned, his suspicions rising.
"Oh, he actually did rule over Japan for a long time, we're talking almost a century long rule. Due to this, the cult became huge, heavily influential in the government even. But then a certain Symbol of Peace came along and disrupted everything."
"All Might..." Sukuna whispered before he let out mix of a laugh and a snort. "Why am I not surprised..."
"Yup, you, your mom's and probably your grandma's favorite hero saved the day. He beat him up so hard the cult claims that All Might actually killed him."
"If so, then why do you say he's alive?" Sukuna asked, forming some correlations of his own.
"After his defeat, the cult's numbers diminished and they went into hiding. But then they received a 'revelation' from a mysterious source, from a computer mind you, claiming that their master would return soon, and they should remain steadfast and continue in their worship of him."
"Now before you say it's a load of bull, I think we already have some clues that he's manipulating the scenes in the shadows now, right?" Todo interjected before Sukuna could say something.
"The League of Villains and their Nomu." Sukuna muttered. Suddenly Todo's gibberish made sense. How else are the Nomu are able to have multiple Quirks?
"Exactly. From what you said about this Tomura Shigaraki character, he's definitely no master scientist, nor is he capable of giving and taking Quirks, and he's definitely not a master strategist."
"So this King Of Quirks is their sponsor. That would explain the Nomu, and the resources and manpower for creating it. I'm sure this mysterious figure has some brainpower under his payroll. And it would also explain why Shigaraki behaves like a pawn trying to be a king." Sukuna sighed, not knowing what to feel now that he wielded this piece of information.
"How did you even found this cult in the first place."
"Oh simple, there was this drunk guy out in the street spouting Quirk supremacy crap. I decided to be the hero of the night by carrying him back to his home. Little did I know, I found myself stumbling into this gathering in this random apartment with Quirk supremacists and anti-hero radicals who see hero society as oppression."
"I'm surprised those people aren't caught."
"Oh, they're good actors, all of them. They maintain a perfect facade while secretly waiting for their 'God' to return and start the Day of Judgement."
Sukuna snorted. "Their God is no God. A god doesn't bleed and get injured now does he?"
"One more question." Sukuna added. " Is this confrontation against the King Of Quirks the reason All Might is getting weaker?"
"I suppose so. Aside from disease, I can't imagine All Might losing to the villains nowadays." Sukuna hummed. The severity of the situation has only increased since.
'They're biding their time. When All Might loses power to a certain point, that's when they'll strike.'
" I know what you're thinking, my brother." Sukuna was snapped out of his thoughts by Todo.
"Don't be hasty, Sukuna. Your moment hasn't come yet. In due time, Ryomen Sukuna will be needed."
Sukuna stared at the horizon, his eyes narrowed, as the call was ended by Todo.

Sukuna, Izuku, Iida, Tokoyami and Todoroki were sitting in the Shinkansen, taking a ride back to the station in Musutafu together. Their one week trip had ended, and now it was time to head home and continue to study at UA.
"Oh yeah, the end of term exams are coming up." Sukuna commented, destroying the mood immediately.
"Did you really have to mention that?" Todoroki glanced at him. "I was having a good day before that came along that's for sure."
"Don't worry dude, just go complain to Momo and it'll be fine." Sukuna taunted in an uncaring fashion.
"Momo? Why would I complain to her?" Todoroki tilted his head, asking his question with a confused tone.
"Nevermind."
"I wonder what our classmates would say." Izuku commented. He could already imagine Uraraka asking him tons of questions about his involvement in the Hosu Incident.
"You mean, you wonder what Uraraka would say." Iida cleared his throat. Izuku was appalled. Did Iida receive a mind reading Quirk after his fight with Stain or something?
"Wh-why would you say that? Th-that's preposterous!"
"No reason." Iida smirked, pushing up his glasses while chuckling evilly. Sukuna remained silent, though internally he wondered what Mina's reaction would be.
She already bombarded him with questions online, and asked of his condition non-stop. He imagined she would do the same when they reunited again.
"How nice, having a significant other." Tokoyami muttered darkly. Iida scoffed. Dark Shadow suddenly appeared, leaning against Tokoyami.
"Ya know, you could just talk to her." Dark Shadow whispered not so softly. Tokoyami shook his head, staring out at the window as the sunlight kissed his face at the perfect angle.
"Some are destined to walk beneath twin moons. Others traverse the abyss alone." Tokoyami narrated like he was in a tragic opera.
"Sus." Todoroki immediately commented, though instead of gaining a reaction from Tokoyami, his friends just stared at him like he just said something obscene.
"What?"
"How'd you know how to use that term?"

"Well I guess we're getting straight to it." Sukuna mumbled in amusement as Mina dragged him as soon as he exited the bullet train.
"Are you alright?" She whispered.
"I told you already, I'm fine." Sukuna shook his head. Mina smiled at him, as they walked together down the street while holding hands.
"Mama look! They're holding hands before marriage! They're gonna go to hell!"
"Shh! Let them be!"
"Where are you taking me?" Sukuna asked her. Mina only smiled, which concerned him, because that was a smile that hid a devious plan.
They arrived at her house.
"I'm home!" Mina announced before dragging Sukuna upstairs. Maya stared before shaking her head, an amused smile gracing her lips.
"Let's get started!" Mina grinned after she set down her luggage and bags. Sukuna was confused, before he widened his eyes as Mina suddenly pulled him. The pink girl sat on the bed, while Sukuna somehow found himself lying on her healthy thighs.
"M-mina...What are you doing?" Sukuna stuttered. He didn't even know he could stutter. Mina grinned, as she started running her fingers through his light pink hair, a healthy blush on her face.
"Well, this is for giving me quite the shock when you appeared on tv. I knew you were passing by Hosu and stuff, but honestly I didn't expect you to go ham on the Nomus." She suddenly groaned.
"Ugh! Who am I kidding?! I just miss my boyfriend!" She puffed her cheeks, pouting cutely.
"I missed you too... But... why this? We could just hug..." Sukuna asked. Mina grinned.
"Because I get to do this!" Sukuna's eyes widened in horror as Mina suddenly gently patted his head with her left hand, while her right hand was gently scratching his stomach.
"Who's my good boyy?~" Mina teased him, raising her right hand to playfully poke his nose. Sukuna stared at her in absolute horror.
For the first time in his life, Ryomen Sukuna felt true fear.
"Mina... stop..." Sukuna whispered as Mina continued patting his head, like he was some cute corgi.
" No~ You'll let me go on, because you're my good boy. Muehehehe~"
"I..." Sukuna found himself speechless as he stared up at Mina. Was this his divine punishment for breaking the law.
If so, it actually wasn't that bad.
"I'm proud of you." Mina whispered, smiling at him. "Seeing you jump in like that... I know it sounds funny but... I fell for you even more..." She whispered, smiling down sweetly at him. Sukuna only stared at her, her face was only thing he could see at the moment, and nothing else.
It was as if she was his world.
"I..."
"Shh..." Mina placed a finger on his lips, she knew he wanted to say something, but it would be forced instead of sincere. Her 'girlfriend senses' would never lie to her.
"You don't need to force yourself, Sukubae. Your eyes tell me all I need to know." She grinned, ruffling his hair. Sukuna closed his eyes, smiling a little.
"Sure, whatever you say..."
"Now who's my wittle good boyyy~ Yes you areee~ Don't be ashamed~"
" I'm not answering that..."
But maybe... just maybe... being a good boy wouldn't be that bad.
