Elena and Erin approached quietly.
"She's asleep?" Elena whispered, glancing toward Takoda, who was soundly asleep, her body limp.
Marcus nodded. "Completely."
Kade continued deeper into the penthouse without slowing. "Takoda takes the east guest suite." His voice remained calm, certain. "Elena stays with her tonight."
"Yes, Alpha Kade."
Both women answered immediately. Marcus shifted the sleeping child carefully in his arms while Elena and Erin moved to help settle her into the said room. Without another word, Kade carried Dakota toward the master suite, letting them handle Takoda and everything else.
And in no time, the penthouse had gone unusually quiet. No reports to be handled. There were no guards or advisors to stress him out... This was only family. The shadow guards were stationed all over the place, invisible.
