I was now looking at Angelica who had been watching the entire time like a spectator enjoying the show from the sidelines.

Her face was unreadable. But she was definitely hiding it. The surprise. The disbelief at the overpowering, one-sided beatdown I had just delivered to her partner. Even the crowd had gone completely silent.
