Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: The Dreamlike S-Rank Ingredient

A Magic Circle appeared on the ground, and the monster instantly caught fire. This was a spell that, once activated, would start burning from the inside of the target. This magic possessed considerable damage. It was a new spell the girl discovered after leveling up. She originally thought she could only learn one spell per element, but it seemed she was wrong. As her level continuously increased, she would unlock more spells, just like the settings in a traditional RPG adventure game.

The Level 15 Red Vipersnake was instantly killed. This Magical Girl, wrapped in wolf skin, possessed extraordinary strength completely inconsistent with her appearance. She looked like a Barbarian Warrior, yet unexpectedly she was a Mage, and one with quite proficient casting techniques at that.

Tsukasa watched the Red Vipersnake turn into a torch in the blink of an eye and was very satisfied with the power of this new spell. It truly deserved to be the advanced magic unlocked at Level 15. Although it cost a full thousand skill points to learn this advanced magic, the power was absolutely worth it. The surprise attack effect of this spell was simply top-notch, and the damage of the Level 1 skill was already higher than her Fireball, which had been raised to Level 8.

If this skill couldn't be powered up through charging, she would have wanted to phase out Fireball. However, Fireball was still her strongest magic, because if given time to charge, her Fireball could unleash incredibly high damage, which the new spell couldn't replace.

"Red Ghost Fruit acquired!"

Tsukasa walked up to the small tree that wasn't even as tall as she was.

The red fruits on it looked very delicious. These fruits were only thumb-sized. She picked one and gently bit into it, and a spicy flavor instantly covered her taste buds. That stimulating sensation almost brought her to tears of joy. This was indeed the taste of chili pepper, and a very high-quality one at that. Finally, she wouldn't have to eat those fire-roasted meats that only tasted of raw meat and musk.

She took down the Bamboo Basket slung over her back. She thanked her grandmother from her previous life; if she hadn't grown up at her grandmother's house as a child and learned this craft, she would regretfully miss out on this large amount of chili fruit now. Although the basket she wove wasn't very pretty, it could still hold more than half of the fruits.

As for the rest... Tsukasa said with some regret, "Never mind. I might not be able to use up so many anyway. If they rot, it would be a waste. I might as well leave them here; perhaps they'll still be here next time I come."

Although she said that.

She didn't hold out much hope.

Because these fruits seemed to be on the diet of many monsters.

Although she didn't understand why monsters would like to eat chili peppers, since it was information obtained through Appraisal, it must be true. So after she killed the Red Vipersnake, these fruits

left here would likely be taken by other monsters soon. The next time she came, she would have to wait until it bore fruit next season. It was a pity she lacked cultivation-related skills and knowledge, otherwise she would have liked to take the fruit tree back with her.

Tsukasa, leaving with her harvest, didn't expect that right after she left, a small Spider Monster would jump out from the bushes, run to the fruit tree, extend its hand to unfold a Magic Circle, and move the entire fruit tree away. After doing this, the small spider hurriedly tracked Tsukasa's footsteps and chased after her.

The magic the Spider Monster just used was quite high-level Spatial Magic.

The specific effect was teleporting external objects to an Extra-Dimensional Plane. This was a divine authority that only Gods could master, the foundation for creating worlds. Being able to use this magic was enough to show how terrifying this spider was. If Tsukasa had seen that scene, she probably would have guessed that the thing that used Appraisal on her earlier was this spider. However, this spider also possessed a max-level Concealment skill, making it impossible for her to detect.

Inside the Extra-Dimensional Plane, a fruit was picked, and a blurry figure gently bit into it, then very satisfiedly planted the fruit tree within that plane.

That figure seemed to murmur, "A skill that brings luck..."

It seemed that just following Tsukasa brought good fortune.

Known Information: [Red Ghost Fruit] is one of the Dream Ingredients, possessing an extremely rich spicy flavor. It is rated as an S-rank Dream Ingredient by the Gourmet Association, and a single Red Ghost Fruit can be auctioned for an extremely high price on the market.

[Red Vipersnake] is a very weak monster, inherently irritable and proud, making it unsuitable for cultivation. Even if given a name and controlled by a Sorcerer, they will burst their internal venom sacs and commit suicide. They are the symbiotic creatures of the Red Ghost Fruit Tree. For the Red Ghost Fruit Tree to grow, it must be regularly watered with Red Vipersnake venom. When the Red Ghost Fruit produces a Fruit King, the Red Vipersnake that eats the King can evolve into a Red Viper King Snake.

Although the Spider Monster cannot obtain the Red Vipersnake's venom.

As a God, however, keeping a fruit tree alive is not a problem.

Tsukasa returned to the tree cave.

Her recent haul could be described as massive.

Two weeks had passed since she killed the Wolf King.

She had basically finished exploring the forest in this area.

And she successfully learned the skill 'Map Creation'.

This skill was quite helpful to her.

She wasn't very confident in her memory, but after acquiring this skill, even if she didn't have enough materials to create a map using the skill, a map of the areas she had explored had already been generated and existed in her mind. She could consult it anytime by using the skill. For her, the fact that the skill had such an effect was already a very pleasant surprise, not to mention that the true effect of the skill was to create maps. At higher levels, it could even create Teleportation Maps, which were super convenient.

"Ha!"

She summoned a mouthful of clean water using water magic.

Tsukasa began preparing tonight's dinner.

Because she had obtained seasonings, she was already somewhat impatient.

That night, she finally ate delicious grilled meat with chili peppers.

After eating and drinking her fill.

She lay on the grassy bank in front of the tree hollow, gazing at the starry night sky.

"Still haven't found the White-Eyed Tiger. Could it have already left this forest?"

Recently, she had been searching for the White-Eyed Tiger all along.

After all, the White-Eyed Tiger was severely injured, its attributes greatly reduced, making it the perfect time to kill it. If she waited until the White-Eyed Tiger recovered to its peak condition, even with her current greatly increased strength, she wouldn't have much confidence to challenge it. After all, without finding a way to deal with that speed, it would be impossible to defeat such a monster.
