Jay's POV:
We were all waiting outside the room for the doctor.
I closed my eyes and quietly prayed to God. Aries sat beside me, rubbing my arms while trying to calm me down.
After what felt like forever, the door finally opened.
I quickly stood up.
"Doctor, how is he?" I asked nervously.
The doctor removed his mask and gave us a small smile.
"He is fine now, but he is still unconscious."
I let out a deep breath in relief and immediately ran inside.
There he was, lying on the hospital bed.
I walked toward him and wrapped my arms around him.
"Baby... wake up," I whispered, tears falling from my eyes.
"Jay, he is fine now. Don't cry," Aries said softly as he wiped my tears.
I hugged Keifer tighter and buried my face against his chest.
A few seconds later, Section E entered the room.
Yuri immediately ran toward Keifer and checked on him.
"Keifer, wake up! They are bullying me!" Ci-N said in his cute voice while shaking Keifer.
"Hey, hey... easy!" David quickly stopped him.
After a few minutes, everyone finally left.
Only Yuri and I stayed behind.
The hospital didn't allow too many people to stay, so they had no choice but to leave.
"Jay, I think you should go too. You look really tired," Yuri said.
"No, Yuri. I'm fine," I replied.
He looked at me but didn't argue.
We sat there, talking quietly while waiting for Keifer to wake up.
After some time...
"Ja..."
I froze.
I looked at Keifer.
His eyes slowly opened as he looked around the room, confused.
"Keif, baby!" I immediately held his hand.
"Jay... what happened to me? Why am I here?" he asked.
"You got shot, Keifer," Yuri explained, telling him everything that had happened.
Keifer suddenly looked at me.
"Jay, are you okay? Did your trauma get triggered?"
I smiled and shook my head.
Even after getting shot, the first thing he was worried about was me.
That's my man.
"Let me call the doctor," Yuri said before leaving the room.
As soon as he left, Keifer looked at me.
"Baby, come here."
He pulled me closer.
"Hey! We are in a hospital," I whispered.
He just smirked and kissed my neck.
"Shameless! What if someone sees us?"
Instead of answering, he lightly bit my neck before pulling away with a satisfied smile.
"Jerk," I whispered, trying not to smile.
Just then, the door opened.
The doctor walked in.
"So, how are you feeling, Mr. Watson?" he asked.
"I'm fine now," Keifer replied.
The doctor checked him properly and finally told us that he could be discharged.
I felt so relieved.
After signing all the documents, we left the hospital and got into the car.
Yuri drove while I sat in the back beside Keifer, holding his hand.
A few minutes later, Keifer rested his head on my shoulder and closed his eyes.
I smiled and gently caressed his hair.
Soon, we reached our building.
Yuri and I helped Keifer walk upstairs and reach our floor.
Kegain opened the door as soon as we arrived.
We stepped inside.
"Okay, I have some really urgent work, so I'm leaving. Keifer, take care of yourself. And Jay, you too," Yuri said.
I smiled and hugged him before he left.
"Jay, Kuya! Come, dinner is ready!" Kegain called.
We nodded.
I helped Keifer to the dining table, and we all sat together for dinner.
After dinner, everyone went to their rooms.
I helped Keifer sit on the bed.
"Jay, come here. Help me," he said.
I immediately ran toward him.
But the moment I reached him, he pulled me straight into his lap.
"Keifer!"
"I need your help," he said with a small smirk.
"With what?"
"I want your kisses."
He started kissing my shoulder.
"Keifer, you scared me today," I said, getting up.
He looked at me quietly.
I gave him his medicine and then leaned down to kiss him.
"Good night."
"Good night, baby," he whispered, pulling me into a hug.
I hugged him back tightly.
After everything that happened today, I was just happy he was safe.
And with him in my arms, we both slowly fell asleep.
The next morning,
I slowly opened my eyes.
The first thing I noticed was Keifer's arm wrapped tightly around my waist.
I smiled and looked at him.
He was still sleeping peacefully, his face close to mine.
I tried to move a little, but his arms tightened around me.
"Keifer..." I whispered.
He only hummed and pulled me closer.
"Let me go. I need to get up."
"No," he mumbled sleepily.
I giggled.
"You need your medicine."
He opened his eyes slightly and looked at me.
"Five more minutes."
" no wake up "
He ignored me and buried his face against my shoulder.
I gently ran my fingers through his hair.
"Baby, come on. Wake up."
He finally lifted his head and looked at me with sleepy eyes.
"Jay..."
"Hmm?"
"Give me booby."
I immediately pushed his face away.
"No!"
He pouted like a little kid.
"Please?"
"No, Keifer."
He pouted even more but finally nodded.
"Okay..."
I couldn't stop myself from laughing.
"You're so cute when you pout."
"I'm not cute."
"You are."
He looked at me for a few seconds before smiling.
"Then give me a kiss."
I rolled my eyes but leaned closer and kissed his cheek.
"Happy?"
He nodded happily.
"Very."
I smiled and got out of bed. First i take bath then keifer....
"Now come on. Medicine."
He sighed dramatically.
"Fine."
I helped him sit up and gave him his medicine.
After taking it, he pulled me back into a quick hug.
"Thank you, baby."
I smiled and hugged him back.
For a few minutes, we just stayed like that.
No worries.
No hospital.
Just me and my silly, clingy Keifer.
Then suddenly, we heard Kegain shouting from downstairs.
"KUYA! JAY! BREAKFAST!"
Together, we went downstairs for breakfast.
Kegain was already sitting at the dining table.
"Kuya, are you feeling better?" he asked.
"I'm fine," Keifer replied.
Kegain looked at me.
"Jay, did he take his medicine?"
I nodded.
"Yes."
Keifer immediately frowned.
"Why are you both treating me like a kid?"
"Because you act like one," Kegain said casually.
I burst out laughing.
"Hey!"
Keifer looked offended, making Kegain and me laugh even more.
We all sat together and started eating.
For the first time since yesterday, everything felt normal.
After breakfast, I helped Keifer sit comfortably on the couch.
He pulled me down beside him and rested his head on my shoulder.
"Comfortable?" I asked.
"Very."
I smiled and played with his hair.
He closed his eyes with a small smile on his face.
Everything was peaceful.
Until his phone suddenly rang.
Keifer lazily picked it up and looked at the screen.
"Unknown number," he said.
"Maybe it's a wrong number," I replied.
He shrugged and answered.
"Hello?"
He listened for a few seconds.
Then his expression changed slightly.
"Who is this?"
There was no answer.
The call suddenly ended.
Keifer looked at his phone.
I looked at him.
"What happened?"
"Nothing," he said, putting his phone away.
I nodded, not thinking much about it.
A few seconds later, his phone buzzed again.
Keifer checked the message.
His smile slowly disappeared.
I leaned closer.
"What is it?"
He didn't answer.
I looked at the screen.
There was only one message from the unknown number.
"You really thought it was over?"
Keifer and I looked at each other.
Neither of us said a word.
Something told me...
Yesterday wasn't the end.
