Emma looked at everyone and finally said, "Then let's go. It's time for me to return to Tokyo."
She paused for a moment before continuing, her expression becoming serious.
"But that doesn't mean I'm going to break the promise I made to my sister. I will return to Tokyo, but only for one reason—to take revenge on one person."
Everyone became silent.
"And I'm warning you all right now," Emma continued. "In this fire of revenge, no innocent person should lose their life. If that happens, then I'll forget that you are members of my own gang. I don't care who you are or how long you've been with me. An innocent person's life should never become the price of our revenge."
Her words made the entire room quiet.
After a moment, Emma looked toward Kuro and Haiku.
"Now, let's go to the meeting. You called everyone, right?"
Kuro and Haiku both nodded.
"Yes."
Emma turned around and walked outside.
The moment Emma started her bike, something strange happened throughout the area. The people of the city immediately started closing the gates of their houses. One after another, the gates shut as soon as they heard the sound of Emma's bike.
It was almost as if everyone already knew what her return meant.
A few moments later, Emma's entire gang began moving out together.
Emma was right in the middle, with her members surrounding her from every side. Their bikes moved through the streets together, making it clear that this was not an ordinary group of people heading somewhere.
They were going to a meeting.
And everyone knew that something big was about to happen.
After some time, they finally reached the same old temple where Emma used to gather everyone.
The temple looked almost the same as before.
As soon as the gang arrived, everyone started talking among themselves.
There were people from the current gang, but Emma had also called several members from her previous gang.
They had not seen each other for so many days.
And now they were meeting again under circumstances none of them had expected.
Some were talking about the past, some were asking what had happened during all these years, while others were simply looking at each other in silence.
Then Emma walked through the middle of them.
Slowly, she came forward and stopped in front of everyone.
For a few seconds, she said nothing.
Then suddenly, she shouted,
"Everyone, stand in a straight line!"
The conversations immediately stopped.
Everyone looked toward Emma.
"Now go and stand in your respective squad lines!" she ordered. "And if you don't know which squad you have been assigned to, check your phone. I've already added everyone to their respective squads. You'll find the details there."
Everyone quickly started checking their phones and moving toward their assigned squads.
Once everyone had settled down, Emma looked at them seriously.
"As you all already know, Joya is no longer with us."
The atmosphere immediately became heavy.
Emma took a small breath before continuing.
"But what she did for us can never be considered small. She did so much for this gang. She even left something behind for all of us."
She looked down for a moment.
"She wanted to give these gifts to you herself, but fate had something else planned for her."
Emma then looked back at everyone.
"But I want to give these gifts to all of you."
Everyone looked at her with curiosity.
"She designed clothes for us before she left," Emma explained. "And I know exactly how much these clothes mean to her."
She gave a slight smile.
"So, captains and vice-captains, come forward first."
The captains and vice-captains immediately stepped out from their respective squads and stood in front of Emma.
Emma began handing them their uniforms one by one.
"This one is yours."
Then she handed another uniform to the next captain.
"And this one is yours."
As she continued distributing the uniforms, she looked at each person and said,
"Your name is written on it too."
Everyone looked at their new uniforms.
Emma continued,
"She knew exactly what kind of animals we are."
A few people looked at each other.
Emma gave a small, almost amused expression.
"Yes, we fight for our clothes too."
A few members almost laughed, but the atmosphere quickly became serious again.
Emma then added,
"She also left letters for all of you."
Everyone immediately looked toward her.
"Yes, she wrote letters," Emma said.
"But there's one problem."
She folded her arms.
"I'm not going to read them to you."
Everyone stared at her.
Emma continued,
"Because some of you are a little too emotional."
She paused.
"Or should I say… completely ruled by your emotions?"
A few members lowered their heads.
Emma's expression became serious again.
"Right now, we have only one thing to focus on."
She looked at everyone.
"Our revenge."
Her voice became colder.
"We cannot allow our emotions to distract us. We have to stay focused."
Emma stepped forward.
"And most importantly, we need to find where that rat is hiding."
She looked around at everyone.
"Because a rat like him must be hiding somewhere inside a hole."
The entire gang remained silent.
Nobody said anything.
Everyone understood what Emma meant.
This was no longer just a reunion.
This was the beginning of their hunt.
And just as everyone was getting ready to move—
BANG!
A gunshot suddenly echoed through the temple.
Everyone froze.
The sound of the firing spread through the entire area.
Emma immediately turned toward the direction of the sound.
Something had just happened.

Actually, I don't have my own personal phone, and this is my mom's phone 📱. She was admitted to the hospital, so I couldn't upload the story earlier 🥺. As soon as I got the phone, I uploaded the chapter.
