There was no sign of how Azrael got hurt yesterday. Nothing at the scene looked strange. Everything seemed normal, except for one thing that kept troubling me. He could not heal.
I questioned the people who cleaned the building where the fight happened. They searched the place well, but they found nothing that could help.
Later, I sat in the cafeteria with my assistant Damian. The place was quiet, with only a few students around. I had already asked the technical team to send me the CCTV footage from yesterday so I could check it myself. If something had happened, I wanted to see it with my own eyes.
"There is nothing strange about the video or what happened yesterday," Damian said while holding the tablet. He leaned closer to the screen, squinting again and again just to make sure he was not missing anything. "Everything looked normal before you arrived."
