Chapter 112 - First knead it into shape, dry it, fire it to harden, then fire it again to finish. Because there's no glaze or anything?

**Day 42 Evening Inn White Pervert**

Tonight is hot pot, apparently.

She's super happy about it.

She was making donabe earlier, it seems.

Yeah, what exactly is Haruka aiming for?

Apparently he got tons of veggies from the village near the dungeon. Thought they were happy he killed the labyrinth, but it was thanks for fortifying their village into a fortress.

Killed the dungeon, got thanked with massive veggies, so in return he built them a wall?

He calls it a wall, but from descriptions it's full castle-wall level. Sturdy enough that even a Goblin King couldn't easily break it—about 2 meters high, sloped base to prevent jumping, plus spikes on top? Yeah, what exactly is Haruka preparing the villagers to fight?

Villagers were thrilled with the impressive wall and gave even more veggies. Feeling bad for taking too much, he distributed clubs too. Now no monster or thief could possibly raid that village.

If clueless monsters attack, the whole place gets massacred before soldiers arrive. Because no matter how you look at it, that's not village-level anymore!

But the builder himself is thrilled with the veggie profits—everyone's happy, so maybe it's fine?

He said they overreacted with joy, but normal people would celebrate wildly. Demon Forest nearby, no proper fence even—villagers lived in nightly fear. Sudden castle walls? They'd freak out happily. Free weapons on top? Total joy, no issues.

"Hot pot time~ Mystery bird, mystery veggies, and our usual mushroom hot pot~ Kinda~♪"

Well, he's in a great mood, but completely forgot the dungeon? Remember why you went?

At least one line slipped in: "Told them I killed the dungeon, they gave veggies and fruits happily." …So dungeon's dead. Mostly potato and pot talk, but info was there briefly. Rest—lawnmower nonsense—remains mystery, but hot pot excitement overrides everything!

Smells amazing. Mystery veggies probably cabbage family? Onion or leek—won't know till eating? Still not ready? Pot magistrate is strict!

...

It was delicious— Haruka grumbled about wanting kombu, but it was great. How high are his standards in another world? His endless demands already turned the tiny general store into a mega shop. Department store incoming soon.

Then we went around hearing dungeon reports from everyone, finally asking the one who seems to have forgotten everything except pot.

"So, how was inside the dungeon? You went all the way to the bottom, right?"

His report was incomprehensible—high humidity no countermeasures, poor drainage/ventilation, safety and environmental standards way below adventurer-friendly. Total fail dungeon.

A dungeon without safety considerations—is a safe, comfortable one even a dungeon? Did he accidentally conquer an apartment? Angry residents incoming? No, monsters appeared, so dungeon confirmed. But does he understand the difference? Sketchy, but not apartment conquest apparently.

Only 17 shallow floors—brand-new dungeon. Monsters weak and few, Angelica solo'd everything.

He complained nothing to do—but bringing the most terrifying ex-Dungeon Emperor from great labyrinth 100F to a 17-floor weakling? Massive overkill!!

But good—no danger for Haruka.

We always forget, but he's not even Lv20 yet…

Lv20 full party barely gets dungeon entry permission—as apprentices under veteran party supervision.

Hard to tell anymore—who needs worrying more, Haruka or the dungeons? But a sub-Lv20 duo doing this is inherently too dangerous.

So safe return is good.

Dungeon King was apparently some armored thing.

Bottom floor: lone armor and magic stone.

Meaning the Dungeon King died without fighting anyone once. Drowned before doing anything bad—maybe never even saw a human.

Never met anyone, species unknown, no battle at all.

Why does worrying about the dungeon feel right? Beating a Dungeon King should be praised heroism—yet imagining it just sounds pitiful. Why?

Tomorrow he's taking lawnmower to make garden in the cave—cavern getting even more mansion-like… What does he even want from dungeons or caves?

Then auction started again—swords, spears, shields, Dungeon King armor—mass bidding frenzy. But 'Spike Mail' got zero bids.

Skill weapons/high-performance armor rare in town—30 people, not enough good gear to go around. Everyone swaps weapon types, needing full sets—constant shortage, auctions booming. Still, 'Spike Mail' skipped.

Price dropped to giveaway—tried forcing it, everyone fled. Yeah, impossible?

Girls can't wear that ominous spiky metal armor? Guys recoiled too—total turn-off. True villain-only gear, post-apoc overlord class only.

In this world, no one but Haruka could wear such wicked evil armor… because it's worse than Demon Lord level. No other candidates.

Even ex-Dungeon Emperor (stronger than overlord/Demon Lord) hated it. Yeah, don't push evil stuff on girls!

No one else fits, but on Haruka it seems natural… What exactly is Haruka aiming for?
