Oh God.
His hand left her hair
And in the next second
Her body slammed violently against the wall.
His rough hand wrapped around her throat.
She was lifted onto her toes, eyes wide in sheer terror, hands clawing desperately at his wrist.
He squeezed.
Hard.
Pain shot through her neck as sparks of fear exploded in her vision.
She squeezed her eyes shut.
He was going to kill her.
"Open your eyes," he growled low beside her ear, his hot breath brushing her hair.
She trembled violently in his grip.
He jerked her again and tightened his hold, forcing her eyes open.
Her terrified blue gaze met his dark, murderous stare.
She'd always thought he was a psycho
But now she knew.
He was a killer too.
"You do not talk to me like that," he snarled, each word dripping with venom.
She couldn't breathe.
Couldn't think.
Couldn't speak.
Her nails scratched wildly at his arm, even drawing blood but he didn't react.
His eyes began to glow faintly gold.
The room blurred.
