Chapter 1 - Shadow in the building

The abandoned building smelled of rust and dust, the kind of place where every sound echoed like a warning. Morgana Vale's heels clicked sharply against the concrete floor, each step deliberate, every motion a silent announcement. The room was dim, lit by a single flickering bulb. In the center, a man sat tied to a chair, bruises darkening his pale skin, a crooked smirk on his lips.morgana came as her heel echo

Morgana: "I see you've been waiting."

Tied Man (smirking): "I've been bored. You finally came to play, Vale?"

Morgana: "I don't play." Her coat swished as she circled him, heels echoing. Her eyes glinted like knives.

Tied Man: "Then what's this? A welcome? A punishment? Or are you just… curious?"

Morgana:She crouched slightly, brushing a finger along his jawline. "Curiosity doesn't keep people alive for long."

Tied Man: "Funny… I was thinking the same about you."

The men in black standing around lowered their heads, stepping aside to let her through. Silence fell, heavy and suffocating. Morgana didn't even glance at them. Her focus was entirely on the man.

Morgana: "You know why you're here. Don't waste my time."

Tied Man:Laughs softly. "I like wasting time with you, Vale. You have that… dangerous patience. Makes it thrilling."

Morgana: "Patience is for people who can survive mistakes. You? You barely made it through the week."morgana then stabed his leg with her vesper and take it out while smiling

Vesper gleamed faintly in the dim light, Morgana's finger dancing along its edge, as if measuring the patience of her prey. hand glided over his face as though marking him a silent warning, a promise. The air between them thickened, each second stretching like a blade.the blood on morgana fingertip she smilled smell it perfect blood color

then she hovered her finger against his face leaving a stain of blood on his face .

Morgana: "Tell me, why do you think you're untouchable?"

Tied Man:Grins. "Because no one can stop me? Because you won't?"

Morgana: "Because people like you forget the rules."

She lifted a hand, tilting it slowly along his face. A silent warning, a taste of the control she held over every inch of this room. The man flinched, just slightly.

Tied Man: "Still the same, huh? Vale, always calm, always… precise. But do you ever get tired? Don't you want to slip?"

Morgana:Smirks coldly. "Slipping is for amateurs. I'm not one of them."

Tied Man:Laughing softly. "So what now? You report me? Let the police sort it?"

Morgana: "I don't trust the police. Not anymore. I've learned… people with power don't answer to rules. They bend them."

Tied Man: "Then what do you do?"

Morgana: "I bend harder."

enough talking you talk so much , so its time for the fun part to kill you ,she put her vesper into her pocket and step aside

she call her man who is standing beside ,gaze on the ground he take a step'' so mam ''

morgana said stab him, ahmmmmm she stop talking and then said ''23 time not at the same time ''.time by time let the moment breath or dont let him faint 2 days let him live until he will beg for death ,

morgana smile firmly and sat on a chair seeing him as her man stab the tied man ,after a hours morgana stood up and start walking as she stood on the exit she said ''cut his fingers step by step'' and when he died hang him on the electric wire and leave him i wonder if police will like this gift .she smiled and just left

her man bow his head .the ties man screamed and morgana sat on her car putting sunglasses on .

scene cut to morgana building where morgana enter her building like a regular ceo then

The TV in the corner flickered, the newsroom blaring over the background chatter. The headline screamed: "Murder at Abandoned District Suspect Already Known for 23 Kills."

Police Officer 1: "Sir… should we call for a meeting? The public panic is… well, it's growing fast."

Commander:Leaning back in his chair, expression unreadable. "Yes. Arrange it immediately. Everyone involved needs to be briefed. I want this contained."

Police Officer 2: "But sir, the victim… he's been linked to every high-profile escape in the last decade. People… they're saying he deserved it."

Commander:A sharp glance. "That's irrelevant. This isn't about public opinion. This is about control, procedure, and tracking the aftermath. Do your jobs."

Meanwhile, in Vale Building, Morgana sat by her desk, her fingers lightly tapping the rim of her coffee cup. The headlines scrolled across the building first floor TV : "Another Murder in the City Killer Still Unidentified." She smiled faintly, the kind of smile that seemed casual, but it didn't reach her eyes.

Employee Whispering: "Another murder… again?

Other Employee: "Shh! Don't say that so loud… you know what happens when you gossip boss dont like gossips at all and she is sitting there so keep quite ''.

Morgana:Looking up briefly, perfectly calm.

She sipped her coffee, almost like a regular girl with a casual morning habit, while the whispers around her grew fainter under her silent authority.

Scene: Meeting Room

The meeting room smelled of polished wood and tension. Everyone gathered around the long table, officers and agents exchanging glances. The Commander cleared his throat.

Commander: "Alright. Sit. Briefing is starting."

Deputy Commissioner: "Sir… the media frenzy is growing. If we don't have a plan, this could spiral. And now… we have a new agent joining."

The double doors opened, and Vincent stepped inside. His presence was measured, calm, but the room immediately recognized a certain edge about him. He didn't speak yet, only surveyed the room like a predator assessing a territory.

Senior Officer (whispering to colleague): "Who's that? He looks… different. Not like anyone we've sent."

Commander:Ignoring the murmurs. "Moonlight. Stand here."

Vincent obeyed silently, placing his hands lightly on the table, scanning the reports, the screens, the files spread across the room.

Commander: "You're briefed on the situation. Every detail, every last movement of the suspect's history, has been tracked for a decade. You need to understand: containment is priority. Identification… secondary. Understand?"

Vincent:Nods once. "Understood."

Deputy Commissioner:Glances at him carefully. "And… just to clarify… you're aware this suspect, whoever executed the act, may have had help. We're not just tracking one person anymore."

Vincent:Eyes narrowing slightly. "I'm aware. But someone made mistakes. And mistakes… can be followed."

The room falls silent. Every agent feels the tension in the air. They didn't know yet that Vincent's mind was already running ten steps ahead of the investigation, analyzing patterns, predicting moves. He wasn't just here to brief. He was here to hunt.

Commander: "Good. Now, you'll start by reviewing every known associate, every escape, every encounter. Moonlight… your mission starts now."

Vincent pulled a chair closer to the table, the leather squeaking under his weight, and glanced briefly at the large screen displaying the tied man's dead hanging with no fingers. His jaw tightened. Justice wasn't simple. And this wasn't just a case it was personal.

Vincent sat at the long table, the fluoresceThe folder in front of him was thick pages and pages of old crime reports, mugshots, witness statements. He flipped through the files carefully, scanning every detail. The room smelled faintly of coffee and printer toner, but his focus was elsewhere.

Deputy Commissioner: "Vincent… you have the full dossier now. Every unsolved murder, every high-profile escape, every pattern connected to the so-called 'Blackshadow.' We need your insight."

Vincent:Murmurs while flipping through a report. "Hm… all these murders… 23 confirmed victims, multiple jurisdictions. And each time the suspect escapes before the scene's even secured. Witnesses? Few, and all conflicting."then he said blacakshadow intresting name .

Senior Officer: "And notice this you'll see a pattern emerging. The suspect isn't violent for violence's sake. she… only targets people who've already committed crimes but escaped justice."

Vincent:Nods slowly, brows furrowed. "So… a vigilante? Not random. Calculated. Precise. And always leaves just enough to scare the system."

Deputy Commissioner: "Exactly. But that's just the tip. Look at these entries here. 2012 through 2022. Every suspect who was released early or found loopholes… gone. All linked."

Vincent:Leans back slightly, thinking aloud. "This… whoever Blackshadow is, this person knows the system inside out. They're not just acting they're anticipating every step we take. And yet… there's something inconsistent. Notice how the last case… there's only one piece of evidence? Just a trace. That's not sloppy… that's deliberate."

Senior Officer: "Only one trace? That's it?"

Vincent:Eyes narrowing. "Yeah. One trace that ties all these cases together. Fingerprint, camera feed… or maybe… just the shadow of a person passing by. Whoever it is, they know the building better than anyone else. They might even… work inside it."

Deputy Commissioner:Raises an eyebrow. "Inside the building? Impossible. No employees have a connection to these cases."

Vincent:Shakes his head slowly, not looking up. "Impossible? Maybe. But watch every time there's an escape, there's a subtle hint, a single loophole. Someone inside… manipulating things. And whoever that is, they've been careful… for years."

Senior Officer: "But… how did they even enter the building unnoticed? Security logs? Everything's clean."

Vincent: clean thats the clue how can everything perfect heTaps the file in front of him. . Clean logs. Minimal evidence. Only one trace left behind, enough to hint at their presence without revealing identity. Whoever this is… they don't want to be caught. And yet, they want us to know they exist."

He flips to the page with the most recent murder the tied man from the abandoned district. His fingers hover over the photo.

Vincent: "He wasn't just a criminal… he was a key. The suspect, or Blackshadow, only struck when the conditions were perfect. And now… someone knew the police would be alerted immediately. Only one person could do this flawlessly in a city this size."

Deputy Commissioner: "You're thinking what I think you're thinking?"

Vincent:Leans forward, eyes scanning the room, voice low but precise. "Yes. Whoever Blackshadow is… they planned every move. Not just the murders… every escape, every trail, every public whisper. And I… I'm the first person seeing the pattern as a whole. If I'm wrong, fine. But if I'm right… I'm walking straight into a web."

Senior Officer: "A web? What do you mean?"

Vincent:Exhales, still scanning the pages. "I don't know yet who they are. Could be anyone in the building. Could be someone we trust. Could be someone… close to me."

Deputy Commissioner: "And this is why we sent you, Moonlight. You're not just analyzing patterns you're embedded. You'll get answers from the inside, without raising suspicion. The interview that got you in… was more than just talent assessment. You were selected because you could blend, observe, adapt. That's your advantage. That's all we can give you."

Vincent sits back, letting the weight of the folder sink in. Each page was a puzzle piece, each death a message. And yet… there was still one piece missing. One piece that would reveal the truth about Blackshadow and he didn't know how close she already was.

Vincent (thinking aloud): "One piece… one shadow… and I have no idea who's watching me."

The room is silent except for the faint hum of the air conditioner and the rustle of paper. The game had begun and Vincent knew this wasn't just about solving murders anymore. This was about survival, secrets, and a shadow that had been in plain sight all along.

as he enter the vale building as a new employee

The lobby was polished to a mirror shine. The hum of the air conditioning mixed with the soft clatter of keyboards from the open-plan office. Vincent, under the name Colin, adjusted his tie nervously. He had memorized the layout, the employee rosters, and even the small routines but nothing prepared him for the first real test: navigating the building without drawing attention.

He walked down a corridor, clipboard in hand, trying to appear casual, until he almost collided with someone moving briskly toward the elevator.

Vincent/Colin: "Oh—sorry! I wasn't paying "

He looked up and froze for a second. Morgana Vale. The CEO herself, walking in heels that clicked sharply on the marble floor, eyes forward, expression unreadable. She barely glanced at him.

Morgana:coldly, dismissive "No."

Vincent opened his mouth, ready to apologize further or explain, but something in her tone stopped him. It wasn't anger. It wasn't fear. It was… authority so absolute that even he, trained and alert, felt a flicker of caution.

Vincent/Colin:stammering slightly "I… I didn't mean to "

Before he could finish, a hand landed lightly but firmly on his shoulder. He turned to see the building's floor manager, a tall woman with a sharp look and clipboard in hand.

Manager: "Stop. Do you even know who she is?"

Vincent blinked, realizing he didn't. Not really. He only knew the rumors, the whispers in the press about the CEO of Vale Corporation powerful, untouchable, unpredictable. But now, standing here, watching her stride past him like he didn't exist, he understood… she wasn't just untouchable. She was untouchable in a way that could consume anyone who misstepped.

Manager:leaning closer, voice low "Colin, focus. Don't make her notice you. That's all I'm saying."

Vincent nodded, swallowing the sudden lump in his throat. His first day as an employee, and already he'd brushed against a storm he didn't know he could survive. And yet, something about that brief encounter the flicker of her eyes, the tilt of her head made him certain that this building held far more than just ordinary work. Something dangerous. Something deliberate.

He adjusted his clipboard, exhaled quietly, and continued down the corridor. Every step felt heavier now, like walking through a minefield with no map but also… a spark of curiosity flickered.

The scene cuts abruptly as the camera pans to Morgana, walking toward the elevator, heels clicking, eyes forward, expression unreadable unaware that Colin's every move was already under scrutiny.
