Feeling that the coast was clear, Gary, Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly approached Dennis and Daisy, who were still in the middle of healing. As the four of them drew near, Dennis turned to look at them.
"Sorry, Gary. Your beach got trashed because of me and Daisy. I'll pay for the damages; just let me know how much," Dennis said.
"Don't even worry about that, dude. I'm fine with it. I also want to apologize because it was my and Jason's big mouths that caused you two to end up like this... so, sorry," Gary said, rubbing the back of his head, looking incredibly guilty.
"Yeah, for real, man. We're sorry. We only meant it as a joke; we didn't realize Daisy was that sensitive about it. So... seriously, sorry," Jason added.
"I'm sorry for laughing, too. At first, I thought it was just banter. I didn't know what the situation was like for you and Daisy at home and I just went ahead and laughed. I'm so sorry, I feel terrible about it," Kimberly muttered, hugging Jason's arm.
