Chapter 92 - The Flood Dragon's Path to Survival

"I feel like I'm catching a cold."

Quinn Ye muttered to himself as he walked to the door and pushed it open.

As soon as he opened the door, he saw three animals standing outside.

Plus a loach lying on the ground.

Quinn Ye was stunned.

He looked at the loach on the ground, and the three animals staring blankly at him.

Is my way of opening the door not quite right?

Quinn Ye closed the door again.

Then he opened it one more time.

Sure enough, it was still the same.

Squatting outside the door were three animals, along with a half-dead loach.

Quinn Ye was a bit bewildered.

What is this situation?

But fortunately, these animals all looked quite silly. Quinn Ye mustered his courage and walked out.

The three animals didn't dare to move, shivering in fear.

Quinn Ye breathed a sigh of relief.

He rubbed the head of that young calf, who put on a look of honest simplicity.

Then he lifted the little monkey.

"This monkey sure is skinny."

Quinn Ye put down the monkey and grabbed a handful of the little fox's tail.

"This fox fur is not bad. If I skin it and make a scarf, it should be quite comfortable."

This sentence from Quinn Ye scared the little fox so much it almost peed right then and there.

When Quinn Ye picked up the loach.

He smiled.

"My meals have been a bit bland lately. It's just the right time to get a loach to stew for soup."

After saying that, he grabbed the loach and walked into the house.

The three demons were scared silly.

Holy shit?

Is Lord Flood Dragon going to be stewed as a loach?

Isn't this too crazy?

"What do we do, what do we do?"

The little fox was so anxious she was about to cry.

The young calf gritted his teeth: "Let's charge in and rescue Lord Flood Dragon!"

The little monkey curled its lip.

"Rescue my ass! Look at what we look like right now. All our magic power is lost, and we've been beaten back to our original forms. What do we use to rescue him?"

The young calf was speechless.

The demonic power of the three of them was currently temporarily sealed.

Moreover, even their true forms had been beaten out, making them almost no different from ordinary wild beasts.

The only difference was that they possessed spiritual intelligence.

"But we can't just watch Lord Flood Dragon get eaten like this, right?"

The little fox said anxiously.

"Let's go find that Lord Demon King. Only he can save Lord Flood Dragon,"

The little monkey said.

"Alright!"

The three demons immediately went to look for Big Mao.

What a pity.

Big Mao was currently at the temple at the foot of the mountain having a feast, completely unaware of what was happening on the mountain.

Quinn Ye held the loach and walked all the way into the kitchen.

He took out a block of tofu, white and tender, and cut it into neat squares.

"This loach sure is fat. This is my first time seeing such a fat loach."

Quinn Ye sized up the loach, beaming with joy.

He planned to make a pot of loach and tofu stew.

This was a fine delicacy.

If made well, it would be full of umami flavor.

Just thinking about it made Quinn Ye drool.

At this time, the Flood Dragon held in Quinn Ye's hand was thoroughly dumbfounded.

Who am I?

Where am I?

What is this person going to do to me?

Three doubts currently enveloped the Flood Dragon's little head.

It looked up at Quinn Ye.

Seeing Quinn Ye giggling foolishly at it, his face even revealing a look of greed, the Flood Dragon couldn't help but tremble all over.

"Oh? This loach still wants to struggle."

Seeing this loach thrashing about in his hand, Quinn Ye was instantly amused.

Now that you're in my hands, how could I let you slip away?

Quinn Ye directly tossed the loach into the water and gave it a thorough scrubbing.

He scrubbed the Flood Dragon so hard it began to doubt its life.

"This Human Race... could it be he wants to eat me?"

The Flood Dragon finally understood the current situation.

Itself, a grand and noble Flood Dragon, seemed to be on the verge of being eaten by this lowly human.

How could this be tolerated?

The Flood Dragon grew desperate, circulating its magic power with all its might.

But it was surprised to find that it actually didn't have a single bit of magic power left in its body.

"What exactly is going on here?"

The Flood Dragon couldn't believe it.

And seeing this loach thrashing around so fiercely, Quinn Ye got a bit annoyed.

"Behave!"

He directly picked up a cleaver and smacked the loach on the head with the flat of the blade.

The Flood Dragon was instantly smacked so hard it felt dizzy and its vision blurred, instantly unable to move.

It wanted to cry but had no tears.

"To think that I, a grand Flood Dragon, wildly arrogant my whole life, would actually end up like this today!"

The Flood Dragon shed tears.

If it had known it would encounter such a thing, it might as well have stayed in the imperial palace.

Although the imperial palace was boring and suffocating, at least there wouldn't be any threat to its life.

Now look.

It was about to be eaten.

Quinn Ye washed the loach clean, then placed it on the chopping board, preparing to chop the loach into pieces.

Right at this moment.

Outside, lightning flashed and thunder rolled suddenly.

It seemed a torrential rainstorm was about to fall.

Quinn Ye was startled, quickly put down the cleaver, and ran out.

"My freshly washed underpants, I can't let them get wet again."

Quinn Ye ran off to gather the laundry.

"A great opportunity!"

Seeing that person leave, the Flood Dragon's heart instantly ignited with raging hope.

If I don't escape now, when will I?

And so.

The Flood Dragon wriggled on the chopping board with all its might, finally reaching the edge.

Then it hopped.

And hopped right off.

Splat!

The Flood Dragon fell onto the ground.

The fall left it seeing stars.

But in order to survive, the Flood Dragon forcefully endured the discomfort, wriggling and crawling on the ground exactly like a real loach.

As it wriggled, it cried.

Wuwuwu!

When has Lord Flood Dragon ever been in such a sorry state?

Once I, Lord Flood Dragon, recover, I will inevitably level this mountain peak.

The kind where not even a single blade of grass is left!

But right now, it was better to run out first.

The Flood Dragon spotted the exit and crawled forward relentlessly.

Just as it was about to crawl out of the kitchen, the Flood Dragon suddenly sensed something.

It looked up.

And discovered a bell hanging on the door.

With just one glance, the Flood Dragon was greatly horrified in its heart.

"This... Could this be the Heaven-Shaking Bell?"

The Flood Dragon quickly lowered its head, not daring to take another look.

It trembled all over, extremely terrified in its heart.

"Absolutely no mistake! This is the Heaven-Shaking Bell!"

"Why would this ancient supreme treasure appear here?"

"The chime of the Heaven-Shaking Bell can obliterate souls!"

"Even an expert of the Spirit Refining Realm would instantly perish under the Heaven-Shaking Bell!"

At this moment, what the Flood Dragon feared most was the Heaven-Shaking Bell ringing.

Because once it rang, it would inevitably die violently on the spot.

It took a few deep breaths.

And secretly cheered itself on.

Flood Dragon, you can definitely do it!

Keep charging forward!

Charge out of the kitchen, then cross through the front hall.

Ahead is the path to survival.

The Flood Dragon sprinted with all its might, watching as it was about to cross through the front hall.

But the next moment.

The Flood Dragon was dumbfounded.

Creak.

Quinn Ye pushed the door and came in.

Looking down.

"How did this loach run over here?"

Quinn Ye was somewhat surprised.

But he didn't think much of it, simply reached out, picked the loach up again, and carried it in his hand into the kitchen.

"Heaven wants me dead!"

The Flood Dragon wailed mournfully in its heart.

Entering the kitchen once again, Quinn Ye put the loach in the water and washed it again.

Then he placed the loach on the chopping board.

This time.

The Flood Dragon was thoroughly in despair.

Forget it.

I'm tired.

Just destroy me already.

The Flood Dragon closed its eyes, waiting directly for death.
