"Rojat, check the map. Is this the place?"
The officer in a black military uniform asked the person sitting next to him.
"No, sir… a little further."
The young man replied in a thin voice.
Broooom
"I really don't understand how the hell there was an earthquake in this grassland area."old senior Rojat said.
"What did you say?"
"I'm feeling… some kind of martial art technique was used here. See the qi coming from ahead—it hits terrifyingly hard."
"Why would I ask if I could see it myself?" Rojat answered furiously.
"Ah right… I forgot. Someone can't see qi energy?" the young man teased.
"Well, 80% of the world can't. If they could, people like you would be the first to get executed!" Rojat shouted.
"Then you'd be jobless, senior,"
the young man teased the older militant.
"Besides… I'm from the Visnor family. Even the king can't kill me—
but I can kill you if I want."
He said it with a completely serious expression.
Then—
"Just kidding, senior."
"Hehe."
"I don't want to talk to you. Just shut up,"
the senior said.
He pressed the accelerator. The car sped forward.
A few seconds later…
"You know, they sent my friend to prison. He was a nice guy… such a gentleman," said Drisht.
"I don't believe it," the older man muttered.
"Yeah, why would someone so good go to prison? The government is corrupted," Drisht added.
"Or maybe you're confused. How can a noble pig like you have a good friend? He must be the same as you," said the senior officer coldly.
"You know… you would've died if you said that anywhere else," Drisht replied playfully.
"Oh? In the military, your senior can say anything."
"We'll see after my coming-of-age ceremony."
Broooom
Suddenly—
"Brake—!"
The young man grabbed the handle near the driver's seat.
It all happened in a split second.
The senior didn't even understand what was going on, but instinctively turned the steering wheel, saving the car from a fatal crash caused by the junior's sudden action.
Airbags burst open.
Whoosh.
Both of them stumbled out of the car, regaining their composure.
"What the hell was that?! I could've died!"
The man in his 30s shouted angrily.
The junior stayed silent… and pointed toward the road.
The moment the senior looked—
He froze.
Fear.
Confusion.
Shock.
The entire grassland ahead was gone.
In its place… a giant hole, nearly a kilometer wide.
What made it even more terrifying—there were no stones, no debris. It was as if everything had been vaporized into thin air.
The wind howled faintly across the empty space.
Before he could react—
A surge of mixed qi—divine, supernatural, and mystic—laced with dark, malicious energy rushed through his body.
"Ugh—!"
Rojat fell to his knees and vomited.
This was impossible.
He couldn't even sense qi normally… let alone feel it.
Which meant—
The qi density here was beyond extreme.
But what shocked Drisht even more—
For his senior to vomit like that… the dark qi purity had to be above 65%, even without the user being present.
"Put on the suit," Drisht ordered.
Rojat, still on his knees, nodded weakly.
Drisht pulled out a briefcase from the back seat. Inside was a thick emerald-black suit with a breathing mask.
Rojat wore it.
A strange, malicious presence surged upward—from the depths of the massive crater.
Drisht slowly began spreading his qi into the air.
A purple fog started expanding across the hole.
40 km away…
A blue sports supercar sped across the road.
Broooom
"I have many questions, but first… explain, Xu."
"Why?" she repeated.
"Why the hell is the freak who attacked me sitting in our car… with us? And whose car is this?"
Reha said, just regaining her senses.
"Calm down, Reha. Asmodeus isn't a bad guy. He was waiting for you to wake up—he wanted to apologize properly. Look, he even healed you," Xu said calmly.
The man in the back seat spoke:
"Lady Reha… I am Asmodeus, son of God, second name. The fifth guardian angel of the Realm of Light. I beg for your forgiveness. Please forgive me for attacking you."
Reha was stunned.
A man who tried to kill her… destroyed everything…
…and now begging?
In a soft, almost plush-like form.
Without hesitation—
Bang. Bang. Bang.
She shot him three times with her revolver.
"Hey! That's rude!" Kapi said.
"What about when you tore off his wings? And slammed him into the ground?" Reha shot back.
Kapi tried to respond—but the angel interrupted.
"It's okay, Master. I deserve it. I attacked an innocent human of my own free will. These shots are justified."
Then he smiled faintly.
"But… that was one of the most amazing battles I've fought in my life."
During the battle, Xu had transported Reha into his spirit dimension to protect her. So she didn't fully understand what had happened.
But now…
She could only observe.
"Kapi… why have your eyes changed? They were brown, right? They're green now."
"What? My eye color changed? What are you talking about? I see everything normally—nothing's green."
"Master, when your eye color changes, your vision doesn't," the angel explained.
Kapi scratched his head.
"Hehe… I didn't know that."
He looked embarrassed.
Changing the subject, he said—
"And how did you even know he was an angel? You said you couldn't see qi, right?"
