A week later, Xiao Li was assigned to a student training dungeon.
Low-level. Safe. Or so they said.
Teams of five were formed.
Xiao Li's team looked… bad.
Two F-Rank students.
One injured E-Rank.
One loudmouth who panicked easily.
"Great," the loudmouth muttered. "We're dead."
The dungeon gate opened.
Inside, the air was damp and cold.
Too cold.
Xiao Li frowned.
This dungeon feels wrong.
The system warned him.
[Dungeon Instability Detected.]
Moments later—
Monsters appeared. Too many. Too strong.
"This isn't E-Rank!" someone screamed.
The injured student fell.
Panic spread.
Xiao Li stepped back quietly.
Invisible pressure spread.
Monsters slowed. Their movements became heavy.
One by one, they fell—crushed by something they couldn't see.
The team stared in shock.
"Did… did they just die?"
Xiao Li forced a shaky breath.
"I think… the dungeon is stabilizing," he said.
No one questioned it.
