Chapter 77 - Chapter 77: For Example, Becoming an Emperor of the Sea!

Cyrus raised an eyebrow, also a little curious, and took the newspaper from Robin's hand.

"What? Do I have a bounty?"

"How could that be? You're not a pirate," Robin smiled and sat down next to Cyrus, pointing to the front page of the World Economic Journal.

"Look, isn't this you?"

On it was a slightly blurry profile picture of Cyrus.

Someone who didn't know Cyrus might not recognize him, but anyone familiar with him would recognize him at a glance.

Besides, the newspaper was reporting on the fight between Cyrus and Chinjao.

"There's a picture of you, too!"

Cyrus glanced at it.

After seeing it wasn't a bounty, he didn't pay much mind, but then he noticed Robin's figure in a photo taken from above.

Of course, it was a shot of her back from a high angle, and with the hooded sweatshirt Robin was wearing, her full appearance wasn't captured.

"This shouldn't be a problem, right?"

Robin was startled for a moment, then smiled.

"Even though I've been with Cyrus recently and things have been much more relaxed, and the constant threat has lessened."

But having been pursued by the World Government for so long, she still felt a little worried thinking about it now.

"Although I don't have a good impression of the World Government, I have to admit that the World Government, which also controls the Navy, is a massive organization."

Putting down the newspaper, Cyrus saw the look on Robin's face and patted her on the shoulder.

"What do you mean?"

Since it concerned her, Robin didn't immediately understand what Cyrus was saying.

"If the World Government went all out to find someone, it's impossible that you could have hidden in the West Blue for so long."

Seeing the contemplative look on Robin's face, Cyrus smiled and put his arm around her.

"So, in the eyes of the World Government, you might not be as important as you think. Or rather, although your bounty poster was issued by the World Government, it's possible that only certain people are paying attention to you."

Feeling Cyrus's arm on her shoulder, Robin nodded lightly.

"Thinking about it now, I think I know who it is."

Robin thought back to Ohara, to the World Government official who had wanted to capture her mother.

"Spandine!" Robin softly spoke the name.

"A World Government official who controlled CP9. But now, it's probably his son taking over."

Cyrus pondered the information he knew.

Robin's bounty poster was issued by Spandine, who naturally wanted to capture the historian who escaped from Ohara to earn merit.

However, after the Ohara incident, that man never appeared again.

And the director of CP9 became his son, Spandam.

The masked man from the Enies Lobby arc who tried to use Robin to earn merit.

"Even so, he's still a World Government official."

Robin sighed, her mood growing heavy.

"This sea is vast, and the Grand Line is not small either. Once we're done with things in the North Blue, we'll head to the Grand Line."

Cyrus was now confident about venturing into the Grand Line.

He was a person who sought stability.

Even back in Shimotsuki Village, his answer to Koshiro was that he wanted to live peacefully in this world.

When he had enough power to achieve that, with some to spare, it wouldn't be out of the question to do a few other things on the side.

Even before he was transported to this world, Cyrus was the type of person who would plan trips to see the customs and cultures of other places.

Not to mention this world, which was almost entirely new to him.

A world of fantasy.

"Then I'll be in your care from now on."

Robin turned her head to look at Cyrus's face and said with a smile.

"No problem. But for now, the World Government probably doesn't have time to worry about you!"

After speaking, Cyrus picked up the newspaper he had placed beside him and pointed to a spot on it.

"The City of Water Seven has opened an Aqua Train route, and it's already operational?"

Robin looked where Cyrus was pointing and softly read the headline aloud.

"It certainly seems important, but what are you implying?"

Robin was curious.

Seeing Robin's puzzled expression, Cyrus smiled.

If capturing Robin was Spandam's long-term plan, then the matter of the Aqua Train was something far more important.

Because it concerned the so-called Pluton Blueprint.

In any case, this matter would surely capture most of Spandam's attention, and he himself was there.

"The blueprint for an Ancient Weapon has now captured the World Government's attention."

An Ancient Weapon?

As a historian, Robin was naturally familiar with this term.

After all, legends of such things were quite widespread.

"Could it be Pluton?" Robin guessed.

"That's right, that's the one."

"No wonder. If it's that, then it's certainly possible."

As Robin spoke, she grew more curious about how Cyrus, who was in the West Blue, knew about this.

After all, this news wasn't in the paper.

"Are you involved in this?" Robin asked, looking at Cyrus as he stood up.

"No, I have no interest in this Ancient Weapon. Legend says a single cannon blast from Pluton can destroy an island, but for the truly powerful on the seas, accomplishing such a feat is not difficult. It's just a threat the World Government wants to control, something to be used as a deterrent."

"True. If the World Government got their hands on it, a Buster Call might be even easier to carry out," Robin said softly, her head lowered.

"Are you still pursuing the truth of the Poneglyphs?" Cyrus asked, seeing the somewhat dejected Robin.

"Yes. It was everyone's dream, and now I'm the only one left. I will see it through."

Hearing Cyrus's question, Robin looked up at him, her expression resolute.

This was a dangerous undertaking.

Ohara had been destroyed by the World Government for studying the Poneglyphs.

For her to continue meant trouble, and it might bring trouble to Cyrus as well. She didn't want to hide this from him.

As she answered, Robin didn't know how Cyrus would respond or react.

At this moment, she felt a little uneasy as his eyes were fixed on her.

"That's great. You have your own goal!"

Looking into the apprehensive Robin's eyes, Cyrus smiled and said with some emotion.

"If you want to do it, then go for it. I can help you in the future."

"Thank you. What about you, then?"

Robin reached out, tugged on Cyrus's arm, and asked. Cyrus let her pull him back down into a sitting position.

Hearing her question, Cyrus's gaze shifted to the busy members of the Eight Treasure Navy on the large ship.

"I don't know. But my temporary goal is to become famous in the Four Seas. Once I reach the Grand Line, there are two potential enemies to deal with. As for anything else, I haven't thought about it for now," Cyrus replied after a moment's thought.

"Perhaps you could set a goal for yourself, too."

Hearing Cyrus's answer, Robin could tell he truly hadn't thought about it, so she offered a suggestion.

"Tell me!"

"For example, becoming an Emperor of the Sea."
