The slash flew out, cutting the sea open.
"That's not it!"
The moment he unleashed the strike, Cyrus immediately shook his head.
He was already a Master Swordsman and could produce Flying Slashes at will.
However, it was completely different from Dorry and Brogy's combined Elbaf Spear.
Conqueror's Haki Infused was a form of overwhelmingly powerful impact, whereas his simple slash was all about sharpness.
In other words, the slashes produced by Master Swordsmen were all characterized by sharpness.
Only by adding one's own abilities or understanding to the slash could it take on various different properties.
For example, if he used Haki when he slashed, the Flying Slash would not only be sharper but also possess immense force.
If he infused the power of the Flame-Flame Fruit into the slash, it would gain the special effect of high temperature.
There were many Master Swordsmen on the sea, and each one's slash was different.
However, compared to the giants' technique, the difference was clearly immense.
Thinking of this, Cyrus directly released his Conqueror's Haki, trying to control it and wrap it around his fist.
The result was less than satisfactory.
"Perhaps it really is a technique similar to Conqueror's Haki Emission. But the two giants haven't mastered Haki, so they can't explain the technique properly."
"But Charlotte Linlin can do it, so there's no reason I can't!"
"Could it really be because my body isn't big enough?"
"But I don't want that kind of monstrous height."
As Cyrus muttered to himself, the sound of footsteps came from behind him.
Robin had walked over.
"What monstrous height?"
Robin walked to Cyrus's side and asked curiously.
"I'm trying to figure out Conqueror's Haki Infusion, that combined technique the two giants used."
Cyrus glanced at Robin and explained.
"Why? With your abilities, it seems you don't need to be so fixated on mastering this technique, do you?"
Robin was puzzled.
Although the giants' combined attack was formidable, Cyrus could unleash an even stronger attack with his own power.
If that was the case, why was he so fixated on mastering this technique?
"That may be true, but it's only human nature to want something once you've seen it. Besides, this technique might contain something I need. You know, Conqueror's Haki Emission."
Cyrus had mentioned Conqueror's Haki Emission before when he was teaching Robin Armament Haki and Observation Haki.
"Didn't you say that during our future travels, we would meet someone who has mastered this technique? We can just learn from that person then."
"That's true, but the future is uncertain. Rayleigh might not necessarily teach me; we're not familiar with each other."
Cyrus shook his head slightly.
"There's no need to be in such a hurry, is there? You're not that old, and with your current strength, you already have few rivals on the sea."
Robin could sense that Cyrus's personality had become somewhat restless since they arrived on the Grand Line.
"You know me. When I think of something, I want to get it done immediately."
Cyrus himself was aware of what Robin was pointing out.
Robin thought for a moment. "If that's the case, why don't we go directly to the Sabaody Archipelago? After all, Sabaody is the final point of Paradise and the entrance to the New World. There should be quite a few Eternal Poses pointing to it."
"That's not a bad idea."
Cyrus put his arm around Robin's shoulder and started walking toward the ship.
"You're right. We don't need to follow a set route. We can just find a Log Pose pointing to the Sabaody Archipelago and go there directly."
Before Robin's reminder, Cyrus had actually planned to pick a route based on the Log Pose and follow it.
After all, that was the choice most people made after entering the Grand Line.
Now, after Robin's reminder, Cyrus thought she was right.
If they had an Eternal Pose, it wouldn't be a bad idea to go find that guy Rayleigh directly.
The current Rayleigh should still be at the tail end of his prime, and a fight with him was something he looked forward to.
"If that's the case, I should have gotten a Log Pose from that guy Crocodile. He definitely has one."
Cyrus suddenly sighed, feeling he hadn't thought things through.
"Actually, this is fine too. We can go see that Sky Island you mentioned. Didn't you say there might be a battle for control of Sky Island happening right now?" Robin said again.
"You're the one who wants to go, aren't you?"
Cyrus looked into Robin's eyes.
"Yes. Didn't you say there's a Poneglyph slab there?" Robin didn't deny her motive.
"What else did I say?"
Cyrus stopped in his tracks, turned, and stared at Robin.
"Quite a lot. For example, the City of Water Seven might be hiding a blueprint for Pluton, and the World Government is already after it. Also, that there's a reindeer on Drum Island that ate the Human-Human Fruit." Robin said, looking at Cyrus.
Cyrus: ...
"I even asked you what Human human fruit is, but you didn't explain." Robin added.
Cyrus blinked, then thought for a moment.
"In that case, let's go to Sky Island first, then head straight for the Sabaody Archipelago." Cyrus said after some thought.
"Then we'll have to go to Jaya Island first. You said it's the closest island to Sky Island."
"Then let's head to Jaya Island first."
Cyrus nodded.
"If that's the case, we'll have to go back to Alabasta again." Robin said once more.
"Why?" Cyrus was taken aback.
"It takes about five days to record Alabasta's coordinates, and we can also get an Eternal Pose from Crocodile while we're there."
"I see. That works."
As expected, nothing was ever simple.
...
The next day.
Swish!
A brilliant, orange-red slash flew from Cyrus's blade.
A giant goldfish, no smaller than Little Garden itself, was sliced clean in half by the attack.
The smell of grilled fish immediately filled the air.
It was just that the smell was a bit too strong.
On the shore of Little Garden, Dorry and Brogy stared at each other after seeing Cyrus's attack.
"He really was holding back."
"I could tell."
"I saw it first."
"Impossible, I clearly saw it first. Even when we fought yesterday, he hit me. It's obvious Cyrus sees me as the stronger one."
"Impossible, the strongest are always saved for last, so I'm the stronger one in Cyrus's eyes."
As Dorry and Brogy argued, they became red-hot with anger.
Then, Dorry suddenly threw a punch, smashing it into Brogy's face.
"You bastard!"
Brogy was knocked backward.
Once he steadied himself, he let out a roar and charged at Dorry.
Cyrus and Robin stood on the ship, watching the direction of Little Garden.
They clearly saw the two giants go from arguing to fighting.
Robin's eyes widened, clearly a bit stunned.
"They're fighting again just like that?" Robin said subconsciously, then turned to look at Cyrus.
"Since you said they're not weak, why not take them with us? Bringing two giants to join the Association would be a form of publicity, right? We might even be able to recruit some other giants."
"How would we take them? Our ship can't even fit one of their feet."
Cyrus looked at Robin and said.
Then, both of them turned their heads in unison to look at Issho, who was using lateral gravity to control the ship's navigation.
"Why are you looking at me? Where else can I go?"
